Motel 6-Madison, WI - East

Pets get to stay free which is my favorite part about this hotel!!! There was a small issue that got resolved within minutes. They switched our room before I was even done explaining the situation. They don't get into anyone's business like the last hotel we were at.

No microwave or refrigerator in the room. We're here for a few weeks so it would have been nice but there's a microwave in the lobby.

There was only coffee in the morning.

The morning we left, there was only decaf, no regular coffee. The stairs going up to the 2nd floor are rather steep: that's an architectural barrier for my wife who's healing from a broken leg. So I carried her luggage up and down the stairs. It's probably too late to redesign the stairways in existing motels, but for new motels, this should be given consideration.

We loved the hotels location. It was in the center of many restaurants and shopping centers. We didn't have to travel far to get a quick bite to eat before we went to the horse and rodeo show. The front taff who checked us in was very polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. He was very accommodating.

The room seemed outdated. The bedside lamp electrical outlet didn't charge my phone. The bathroom seemed very small.

This Motel 6 was clean, inside and out. The location is in a quiet area on a secondary road away from the highway, but it is close to shopping and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and competent. The room was typical of Motel 6 rooms, but I thought it was cleaner and in better condition than most other Motel 6 hotels in which I've stayed. For the price, this Motel 6 exceeded my expectations.

I love everything about the night I stad at motel 6 the s# the staff was excellent the front desk miss lady was a very exceptional person anytime I come back I would love to see them again thank you for all that you all have done for me please have a very very special day

I loved and I like everything about the Hotel this was the front staff and the cleaning crew was very exceptional

I got a super low rate on booking.com and because of the low price, I was not expecting it to be very nice. But I was pleasantly surprised! I have paid much more for a room that was not nearly as nice as this one! It was all I needed while traveling and just stopping for the night! I didn’t need a microwave or fridge! I liked the laminate floor instead of carpet, the one brick wall, the furniture, and the bed spread! The only thing that should have been better is the sheets- they were fur balled and rough! I really could’ve used some coffee too!! (Whether in the room OR In the lobby! Also, by the front door, there were a couple of metal poles that were pushed over- probably from a car- that just looked sloppy. But, I would stay there Again if passing through and wanting a nice, simple room!

There was no breakfast due to covid restrictions & that's just fine by me. Staff was great & room was better than expected. Bathroom was size of a postage stamp but clean. All things considered I'd give this property ⭐⭐⭐⭐. I stayed here in Dec 2016 to make sure an overnight snowstorm wouldn't prevent me getting to work on time. This place has been completely overhauled since then & I'd recommend it.

Bathroom is approx 4' x 4' & that's tight for anybody who has the nerve to sport a head and shoulders. Puddle of chunky vomit outside entrance to lobby door.

Excellent hotel with excellent location !! Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality.

We did not see any breakfast there so we left. I liked that I did not have to park far away and that our room was close to the stairs on the second floor. Preferred a first floor with my handicapped husband.

An elevator to carry my heavier stuff up. Had trouble entering the room from my key but eventually worked.

Great location. Walking distance to grocery, liquor and pharmacy as well as the Mall. Lots to eat within walking distance.

You can't come in through any door but the front door. This makes loading and unloading difficult.
