Uptown Hoi An Hotel & Spa

The hotel is at a very good spot for going to old town, getting something to eat or going to one of the beaches. They have bikes for rent. The staff is super nice and helpful with any tour you might want to book or place you might want to see - but never pushing! Their English is extremely good! We also liked the rooftop terrace and pool to relax :)

It‘s always the people who make you feel home at a new place. My wife and I usually don‘t write reviews, but our stay at Uptown Hotel was so special that we feel like sharing our emotions. From the time we arrived at the hotel, ten days ago, up to being dropped off at the airport a few minutes ago our whole stay was a 10 out of 10. The whole staff is so heart-warming, welcoming and always has a smile on their faces. The room was quite spacious, absolutely clean, the breakfast is the best we‘ve had in Vietnam and the service was just perfect. We wish every member of the staff all the best for the new year and highly recommend staying at Uptown Hotel.

- receptionists were just professional; the rest off the staff went over and beyond and were super welcoming. Everytime we left or entered the greeted us like family. Truly amazing people ( genetor, handiman, kitchen and cleaning ladies) - comfy bed - good shower - good location (walkable within oldtown) - free bikes

There were a few things that were not perfect but nothing major. - moldy smell in the room although nothing could be seen (the first day they put a lot of perfume in so you will only notice on the second day, we stayed 4 and it got worse with every day) - used the laundry service and got pur dirty laundry back after a day (they immediately send it back and had it washed but was inconvenient) - wifi is spotty at best! The pool wifi is okay the rest was almost useless

The staff. All so friendly and amazing and warm. They're very accommodating and knowledgeable. We booked a half day tour of My Son with the hotel, as well as Memories Show ticket and all was smooth and well managed. We also booked a transfer to Da Nang Airport with them (it was even cheaper than the Grab app). Room was comfortable and had everything needed incl. toiletries, kettle, AC, safe, TV etc. Breakfast was good - both Vietnamese food and more international incl. an omelette station. Worthy of a 9/10 and its 3*

The sound proofing wasn't very good both internal noise and external. Make sure you get a room at the back of the hotel. On a busy road about 15 min walk from the main part of town (the river front and sites) but still lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel. A bit expensive (we stayed in a similar 4* hotel in Da Nang for almost half the price) but Hoi An is smaller and more touristy so I guess that's why.

Excellent stay, good location right in the centre and very close to the old town; beds are comfortable and the views are beautiful. The bathroom was particularly beautiful. Breakfast was also good, there was a mix of local and international cuisine and the fruit selection was great! The staff were very kind and helpful. I was a bit sad when we arrived because I had forgotten my power bank at the previous hotel four hours away and the receptionist noticed straightway that I looked sad. When I explained what happened she was willing to help me by checking it one of their drivers was going to Hue. This was very kind. We also got a souvenir gift from the owner which was lovely !!

Fantastic location and run by a beautiful family. We were so warmly welcomed and made to feel very special. They could not do enough to help us. The pool was a great reprieve after a busy day of sightseeing and great views of the area. It’s a good 10 minute walk into the old town but an easy walk or grab an e-taxi. We were a family of 4 and had the adjoining family room which was perfect for us. Comfortable bedding and very clean rooms. Breakfast was very enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nothing

A convenient spot that’s no longer than 15 mins walk away from the night market in the ancient town. It’s right at the main road and surrounded by restaurants around. ATM machine is 2-3 mins walk away. If you like the beach, An Bang beach is one Taxi/Grab away. The hotel offers e-buses and has contacts with agencies for excursions such as Bana Hills in Da Nang etc. The staff were very neat, friendly and beyond approachable. Our hotel rooms are tidied up every single day. They have a rooftop swimming pool with pleasant water (you won’t notice the chlorine at all!). The street behind it has varied coffee shops, restaurants, spas and tailoring services.

We sisters from Pakistan went to Hoi An for one night and we selected this hotel for location. They provided us pick up from da nang and drop off to airport in very nominal rates. The welcome by them was so so amazing. Staff was very polite humble and caring. It was a feeling that we are living at our home. We also took memory island tour from them on a discounted rate. Breakfast of hotel was very delicious and as a vegetarian we have alot of options. When we were leaving, they gave us small souvenirs. We really loved them and had an exceptional stay in this hotel.

After a dubious first night with weekend noise (I am a light sleeper) we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. After the first night slept absolutely peacefully. Great location slightly away from Old Town but lovely 10minute walk down little laneways to get there. Also added bonus of grab, bus etc waiting area directly opposite so could easily go to the beach for one day. Interconnecting rooms with separate bathrooms was perfect for our family of four and the free bikes was an added bonus to get around. Front desk was very friendly and helpful and the rooftop pool was great for unwinding at the end of a day spent exploring and could look over the city as one of the tallest buildings there (despite not being a high rise). Owner also gave us some lovely parting gifts.

Slightly noisy through the night on first day but I think that was only due to it being a weekend as the rest of our stay was wonderful

Everything. The room was big and comfortable on a new building. Balcony and shower with bathtub and shower curtain, many rooms in Vietnam don't have a shower curtain and the water makes a mess so that's important to me. TV with 3 channels in English. Very good location close to everything. Short walk to Old Town. The customer service gets 11 stars from me! The receptionist, Song, was very kind, she received us with lemon water and a big smile happy to see us. We arrived early but our room was ready. She gave us information how to get around and help us with everything, she booked a tour to Marble Mountain for us and the taxi to the airport, for a very good price. The tour was amazing too, Lin our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable, we were very happy with the tour. Everyone arrived on time and before. The hotel has luggage storage. The pool was very nice although we didn't use it. Yes I'll go back to this hotel with hesitation.
