The place was clean and the view of garden was so gorgeous. And i also loved the room because of the spacious queen size bed and vintage look which made me felt cosy. In terms of the location, the place wasn't that far away from a Greta train station and was easily approachable. Most of all, i really loved the kindness and profession of the owner who's running this guesthouse. So if you are looking for peaceful downtime or some little trip in Hunter valley, i would definitely recommend this place with confidence.

Spent 3 nights in this amazing B&B. Great place to come and relax and be pampered. The included 3 course breakfast every morning was amazing and so delicious. We opted for the extra 3 course dinner the first night, perfect choice. Jo spoilt us by making us a 1 course dinner the following 2 nights, so we could just come home and relax in front of the living room fire each night. Her meals made our stay an extraordinary culinary experience and we felt truly spoilt. This B&B is like a little tuscan villa hidden in the Hunter Valley. Jo was the perfect host and we would recommend a stay here if you want an experience to remember. Thank you Jo

Perfect stay. Nothing to dislike.

We have been at The Table Guest House before and that's why we booked it again for a celebration because we knew that we would not be disappointed. Jo, the owner and chef, is just amazing. The detail to everything, the little extras and surprises and her meals. We had the best gourmet dinner one can imagine, delicious, excellent presentation and everything fresh cooked. And a lovely conversation and lots of laughs. It was fantastic. Now we just have to find another reason to go back soon. Thank you, Jo, you are wonderful!

We stayed here for our anniversary. Short drive to local wineries. Great for people who travel with their dog. We travelled to the wineries with our whippet, which are very dog friendly. However, it’s hard to find a place to stay which is truely dog friendly. Lovely facilities. Bed was soft, which is a big priority when staying somewhere. Breakfast was great.

We loved everything, but we have some suggestions. Didn’t ask at the time, but maybe access to an ion and an ironing board. Information written (like a board) about what time breakfast is so I didn’t worry about sleeping in.

It was a lovely experience. The owners are a lovely old couple that makes sure that every detail is perfect. We would definitely repeat if we return to the Hunter Valley. The beds are very comfortable and warm, we slept like a baby! Additionally, although the bathroom is a bit small, the shower pressure is excellent.

The lighting in the room was poor and some of the sockets did not work.

In the Hunter Valley region with a selection of Winery’s within 20-30mins drive. We loved the Tranquil Vale for tastings and also recommend. As for The Table Guesthouse… Imagine a boutique hotel crossed with AirBnB and your super host is a passionate, professional, personal chef, but also feels like family. Jo was so accommodating and had so much flexibility with check in and out, (as it was our wedding anniversary whereby we didn’t have the kids with us). Jo was also eternally optimistic with trying to give us the outdoor experience we asked for in the beautiful, cute, romantic courtyard but with the weather being on and off rain we had to come inside to the candle lit euro style restaurant setting that Jo also prepared for us. The seating area and bedrooms with ensuites are so cozy and quaint and the toiletries, candles, towels, bed linen are all delightful and high end premium. Now for the food. 🤤🤤🤤 The three course dinner is a reflection of Jo’s clear passion for food and service. I don’t think you’ll find this level of dining in many places around this area. I believe the meals will likely vary depending on the season and what Jo has on the menu but I have no doubt whatever she serves will be splendid. Also felt very spoiled with the included breakfast which was also three courses. It’s actually hard to decide if this place is a high end restaurant or hotel accommodation, I guess it’s both.

might be nice to have a jacuzzi, but this is just an added luxury that would be a nice to have. also, would be good to have some products for sale at the front counter from the local area that Jo (the host) uses in some of her dishes. Like local olives for example. These are purely rooms for improvement but there wasn’t really anything we didn’t like.

Well-maintained period-style small property with many thoughtful touches and a great bathroom. Breakfast was self-serve continental with cereals, fresh fruit, coffee/tea and packaged cakes/sweets - simple but quite adequate, and served in a lovely dining room. Very comfortable bed. Off the main road, so no vehicle noise at night.

We loved spending our anniversary at the Table Guesthouse. Jo really makes sure you have a wonderful stay. She was friendly without being intrusive, gave us recommendations of what to see and do, and even prepared an impromptu lunch for us when we arrived. Her cooking is delicious and her many years of running a restaurant is evident in both the food and the whole experience. I highly recommend booking for dinner as well as enjoying the included breakfast (the oats are so so good!!) Little Harvey her furry offsider is just adorable also. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

What an amazing place. Jo, the owner and Chef Extraordinaire, is absolutely lovely and nothing, but really nothing is too much trouble for her. She spoiled us from the minute we arrived. The meals (breakfast and dinner) were delicious. The room, bed, bathroom (great shower), dining area and the sitting area in front of the fireplace were beautiful and very comfortable. We couldn't have found a better place to celebrate a special birthday. Harvey, the puppy dog, was gorgeous, a bit naughty - he pulled my shoelaces but didn't do them up again :-). Thank you, Jo, for making our stay so special! We will definitely be back.

Such a beautiful place to stay in Hunter Valley, forgetting all the stress and worries of day-to-day life. The Guest House has a cozy interior and a beautiful area around the fireplace, where you can sit and relax with a glass of local wine. Jo is an incredible host and an inspiring person, she's been spoiling our fur baby Deni and us all weekend. Jo is also a chef and the food is just unbelievably good. If you've been to the place and haven't experienced her dinner, you have to come back. If you have had dinner - you'll come back anyway! Jo has the cutest furry co-host Harvey, who instantly made friends with our usually shy doggo and made the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommend the place and will definitely come back when we're in the area!
