For a room above a Pub, it was fantastic actually, like to the point where I usually stay at the Mantra and would prefer to stay here again.

I had to walk through a pretty full pub with people drinking, etc. but to be honest, I expected that, and it wasn't that bad, just the only thing I could point at thay wasn't good besides the windows. The windows in the room, the lock on the big window, was on its way out, and you couldn't close the window in the bathroom, now I highly doubt anyway is climbing up the second storey and then climbing through that small window but I am trying to find negatives.

Hotel is very close to train station and the rooms are very tidy and clean. The staff are very friendly as well.

Only issue is there is no elevator (the building is 2 storied and the rooms are on 1st floor) and no designated parking area. Although the free parking lot is very close but we had trouble finding a spot to park near the hotel and unload our luggage. If i have no big luggage with me next time, i will definitely choose this hotel for my stay in sydney.

Perfect for a single night stay. All important or necessary stuff's were in place in the room No lift, but first floor is not a big issue to walk up. Complimentary drinks were a pleasant surprise and appreciate it. Parking organised by manager is very much appreciated. Staffs were friendly. Nice location to walk around. Would stay again.

Couple of Tissues box in room would be recommended. Pen, Note pad or papers in room would be of good help, when we travel for work. No Breakfast package, if included it would be nice, especially when we are to leave early for meetings.

Location, friendly helpful staff. I managed to get one of the 2 parking spots available at the rear- the chef moved his car and let me go in behind him.

Needing to go into the back alley for after hours entry after a concert at Homebush- bit scary with lots of males in the takeaway next to the hotel. Overnight there was a lot of noise from people shouting in the street but I felt perfectly safe in the hotel. This was beyond the control of the hotel and I was probably just unlucky that it happened the night I was there.

Big bathroom, comfortable bed, plenty of space, we didn’t feel cramped at all, lovely staff. Free parking nearby, right across the road from train station. Great value for money.

No negatives from us, it was only slightly echoey, so we would hear when people walk down the hallway, shut doors, talk outside, etc but it was very limited and we weren’t at the hotel all that much other then too sleep. Our sleep wasn’t disturbed.

the staff as always were very friendly and made me feel comfortable, even in the bar setting. the room was pretty clean and the bathroom was nice, good shower pressure ❤️

the pillows weren't super comfy and a blanket would have been nice, there was a condom package under the bed, which was a little gross. also, there was a stain on the ironing board which made me kinda not want to use it

The tv size was extremely small and way to far away from the bed where only place to sit to watch...There was not anywhere to have breakfast or make breakfast plus was no mini bar plus hotel has no staff after 10pm..price wise room should have been less then $100 or less not over $150 that i paid for it and didnt even stay in the room or use the room.for more than 12hours out of the 24 im paying for checked in at 10pm at night and had to check out at 10am in these cases should receive half the rate as only sayed half the time!!

Super friendly staff. Lovely big comfy room with a super comfy bed and large well equipped bathroom. Exceeded my expections

I didn't dislike anything, but if I am going to be picky, the step up to the bathroom was something I needed to be aware of, so I didn't trip.

New towels and water every day. Very clean room. Easy access.

Room made weird noises that were constant but it wasn’t too loud so it was fine. The pub smelt like really bad cigarette smoke.

Very Nice clean room. Large bathroom. Very good value for money. Free drink on arrival, train station is across the road. Staff were delightful and helpful. Great food options at the pub and across the road.
