The reception staff were incredibly kind and professional. Free parking! The rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. I needed some more dishwashing liquid and the staff were prompt and kindly delivering more. The showers were hot and towels nice and fluffy. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly. I requested some fried eggs instead of the scrambled they had on offer and it was no hassle for them. The accommodation is a very short walk away from the train station.

Nothing. It was perfect for what we needed as a family ranging from ages 8 months - 60 years old. Definitely will be re booking in the future.

The room was spacious for the 3 of us and the beds were VERY comfortable .The location is nice and close to the train station . The amount of eateries is amazing with great food.

You could shut the shower door properly so water ran out onto the bathroom floor. The sugar sachets were as hard as a rock ( it appeared as though they were quite old ) . The chairs to the dining table had some sort of yucky stuff one the back ( we dont even know what it was ) and they were filthy underneath, well overdue for a good clean . One of the coffee cups had something like old milk around the top of it and it was stuck to the shelf in the cupboard , it took a bit of force to pull it out .........

we stayed for a ballet comp, the location for this was fabulous. The convenience of all the food shops was the best. it was like a little oasis in Bankstown. close easy access to the train too, so easy to explore Sydney city. The place was super clean and comfortable. The check in staff were super nice, and helpful. thanks Stephanie!

because of the gaming and the bars, it wasn't particularly child friendly. under 18s can't just duck down to get something to eat or anything. must be with an adult at all times.

I have stayed there many times before and it is a very good place to stay.

Two things; a) The computer system was down when we went to check in and they allocated a room to me manually, however, when I got to the room, someone else was already staying in it...!!! b) Lady Banks closed before 9pm on the Wednesday night, which was very disappointing for our work group, as we had planned to go up there and spend a bit of money...

Ideal location for us as we were attening a competition in the Mercure Sydney Bankstown. As it rained most of the weekend it was nice eat at the various restaurants in the club. Got a free club membership, this gave us discounts on our meals and free parking.

Due to revovations it was difficult to park at the right entrance fror the Mercure Sydney in Bankstown. The rooms were smaller than I expected. Only two dinning chairs and a table, no comfortable chairs to sit on. Cost per night was $189au.

We always have a King room and it is very clean and nice. It's a bonus having the microwave. Beds are good. I love all the restaurants , the club attached is amazing. The included buffet breakfast is good and the lady there is very obliging.

I don't like the pillows, they look nice and big but they are actually too soft with no support. There is a pillow menu but when I asked for this the pillow they brought me was no better. I end up having to cart my own pillow.

1. Almost everything except finding the place (see next box). 2. I booked quite late and I was a bit dubious about staying in Bankstown but - the trains into Sydney central are great and it's really quite a short journey. It's also less than a 30 mins drive to the airport!

1. Finding the place - I was looking for "Mercure", "Travelodge"... Nope. The GPS took me to the street, yes but WHY don't you say it is in the Bankstown Sports on your booking sites? It would have made it a bit less puzzling. The car park does not signpost the way to the reception entrance very well. The reception staff were great but there is no direct lift from reception to the rooms - you have to use either a wheelchair lift to the lift lobby level or go up the short flight of stairs to same. Then, temporarily I'm sure, there was only one lift working out of the two.

Beds comfy room great had a corner room Pillows normal size & large Plenty of pillows Rooms very clean Loverly tea in room Clean towels everyday Room service everyday but one day we were in our room so they couldn’t clean but did do a quick clean of towels

Fridge freezer needs to be defrosted Cooler was on 26 the whole time room should of been freezing but cool enough to sleep but still warm in the day but it was very humid Hall ways no aircon No toaster in room thought there was ment to be one

Was comfortable. Good location had everything we needed

We arrived early, so we did a pre-check in Staff member was lovely and extremely helpful. When we came back there was a different staff member. We waited for almost 25 minutes because she was trying to figure out what was happening. Don’t think she knew how to book us in perhaps she was new, but that was too long to wait to check into the property 😟

Great room, very clean. Amazing facilities within the Bankstown Sports Club, restaurants were amazing, staff were all very friendly and offered assistance. The smell in the sports club is amazing… I wish I knew the scent!

The exhaust fan in the room either didn’t work or didn’t have a switch to turn it on, this wasn’t great after a trip to the bathroom.
