Room very spacious. King size bed very comfortable. TV good size and position and plenty free programs. Lovely small balcony. Staff couldn't have been better everywhere. Aaron and Carol 2 names that come to mind of the welcoming feeling that all the staff gave. Breakfast very good in which I loved the juice extractor for my own green juice with ginger and turmeric. There is a free pool and gym which I didn't use so I can't rate. Parking attendants very helpful. Free wifi. Great position in Double Bay surrounded by shops and eateries and busses UBER taxis etc. Take the cheapest UBER to the airport less than $AU40 for two with luggage. Booking with Booking.com including breakfast a huge plus.

Parking at $AU70 a day very expensive. 5pm checkout after 6 night stay $AU200. If they weren't full could have been a better rate.

Wonderfully comfortable hotel with fantastic staff from reception to the concierge and the always helpful doormen. Comfortable and clean rooms that were quiet and cosy. Breakfast buffet very excellent with a wide selection for all. Pool was nice with lovely sea views. Would return.

A little more help at the pool with more regular clearing from changeover of guests. Maybe another cocktail waiter or two to help with early evening drinks as the roof top is popular.

Great location, good facilities, rooftop pool the lot. Stay here a lot for work, and rarely have a bad experience. Easy to walk everywhere, easy to get to the city. Great restaurants in the area, and the bar in venue is good for a quick sit and drink. Valet is great.

Check in can be a bit slow sometimes. This is only when they're under the pump, and not all the time. Also service in the bar can be a bit hit and miss on the rare occasion. Doesn't detract from the ease of use, location and facilities that the hotel provides however.

The hotel is an icon and the main part of the building was built before 1800. It’s a boutique hotel which is kept properly and you can feel its soul. If you want to stay in a quiet hotel and avoid the noises of big hotels, it’s one of the best options. We went there for our anniversary and they surprised us with a yummy cake. The breakfast was fantastic.

The dinning and the bar were in a same location. So, the restaurant for dining was noisy. The staff are super friendly and nice but they can be trained better as professional hosts

great location. decent size room. clean. loved the big fluffy towels and robes. concierge and door staff were super friendly and helpful. loved Redleaf harbour pool. we went up there every day, only a ten minute walk.

air conditioning was too cold and couldn’t be adjusted. we had two different staff up to the room to look at it. no one seemed to know much and nothing happened. mini bar arranged with kettle and coffee machine was ‘awkward’ to use, a bench top set up would have been easier. long queue to check in was a bit of a pain, but to be fair, it moved quite quickly.

After a very quick check-in, and offer of refreshments, Tigra Jang welcomed us with a beautiful note and delicious plate of dessert. We had a beautiful room with water views. Any request was promptly expedited. The hotel is conveniently located to all the best restaurants and retailers. Bookings for taxis or restaurants were left in the capable hands of Amanda the Concierge. A really enjoyable stay.

Not much

It's a beautiful tradition hotel with a wide sweeping staircase and rooms are stair accessible (very important when someone doesn't like lifts!). The staff were exceptionally accommodating to our needs, professional and just downright decent and nice individuals. It's in a great position. Didn't have time to experience the lovely dining room but hope to return.

Building site next door was a bit noisy in the morning but perfectly quiet at night. Very complicated electronic light switches were difficult to get used to. Bring back old fashioned switches please!

Location was excellent. Service v good. Wonderful rooftop bar with pool and access to well equipped gym. Room had balcony and were of a good size.

There was a noisy building site next door and I thought a few maintenance details could have been better, like scuffs on doors and skirting boards.

Location was excellent close to nice restaurants, cafes and boutique stores. It was also closed to near by suburbs, and also five minute drive into the city

Service in the morning for breakfast could be a little better for example having to Waite 30 min for fried eggs and a coffee
