Room great size, great service at check in and out. Everything clean, great location

The poor person on breakfast was run off her feet, needed more than one staff member. We didn't get a coffee as she was way too busy.

We have stumbled across this hotel as we were looking for an accommodation that will be tourist without car friendly. And we couldn't stress enough how glad we are that we chose Rydges. It was close to everywhere, restaurants are around the corner, Darling harbour too. All tourists spots and shopping centre are walking distance. Room - It was beyond the expectation, bed is very soft, and so are the pillows. it is very clean, also smelling good, when I ask it cleaned, it will always be pristine. Customer Service - May we just shout out our Staff manager when we checked in. We missed his name but I hope the property would be able to check who was it and give our greatest thanks! He has gone way beyond to make sure we settle in our room and be comfortable. He was courteous and very clear. We never had that kind of customer service experience before. He was superb! Thank you, please keep him. He is a gem. We really enjoy our stay, especially with the tone he has set up upon our check in.

Nothing much really. There was nothing we could have needed and wanted that was not provided. All are very good.

Great location. Room was clean and updated. The walk in shower was so nice. We had a balcony and it was nice to be able to stand and watch the world go by. Room was serviced everyday. Very comfortable stay.

Staff at breakfast were a little slow. Breakfast was nice but I think the hot food could have been a little better. Plenty of options though.

The hotel itself was immaculate and the staff were amazing!! From the moment I walked in the staff were very helpful and even upgraded me free of charge!! I came across a number of helpful team during my stay but this wonderful Colombian woman who was working in the house keeping was so kind and helpful. Kudos to her and all the staff at this hotel.

There really isn't much to not like!!

Large 2 bedroom apartment. Full size kitchen. 2 good clean bathrooms. Living room. Small balcony. Easily fitted family of 4. Beds were comfortable. Room serviced daily. Excellent location for Chinatown and Darling Harbour. Close to public transport.

Carpet needs replacement. Lumpy and very worn. Wardrobe sliding doors heavy to open and very dated. No plug for bath or hand basins. Asked for one and didn't fit. Only 2 tumbler and wine glasses in kitchen.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It was nice to be able to open the doors onto the balcony and get fresh air and listen to the noise of the city. Great blockout curtains helped with a nice sleep in. Plenty of space to move around and store your bags etc.. Location is fantastic.

Parking was confusing at first. There is no entry at the front of hotel to pull into and unload bags. There is a little spot directly around the corner where you can pull over and do that but we didn't know at first, the carpark entry is via Kent or Sussex Street.

The location is great, close to restaurants and nearby attractions like Sydney Tower Eye, the room was big and comfortable for our family of 6. They have a spa and pool which was also nice. The breakfast buffet with lots of choices was delicious.

Our room was carpeted and upon our arrival we immediately smelt something unpleasant. They do not provide toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste.

Breakfast was good. Nice selection. It was all yummy. Would be nice to have China cups with my tea instead of paper cups.

Aircon is turned up so high though on level one so much so that you can feel a cold breeze in the lobby from level one. Absolutely freezing. Makes the breakfast area a bit uncomfortable. Pool is so outdated. Staff just going through the motion. Missed the mark on both check-in and checkout. Couldn’t give me late checkout due to being full, only saw one other family having breakfast by the way.

When I booked it stated that I could park at Centro parking station for $20 as long as the hotel validated my ticket. When I went to leave and asked them to validate it they advised that they are not able to as they aren’t affiliated with the parking station. Very upsetting as I would have sought out cheaper parking. Not happy as the cheap parking was stated on my booking. Will be reluctant to return as what else is the Hotel not going to honour

Very good location for Darling Quarter, very friendly staff, hotel was refurbished in the last few years so the rooms and the hotel looks quite modern.

Unfortunately there was only one elevator working as the other one was out of order. This meant that wait times for elevators were very long especially during check in and check out times.
