Besides the perfect location for easy transport, very welcoming and pleasant hostel. Staff were really friendly and happy to help us with any questions or issues we had. Reception always had someone on until shut for the night which made check in and issues easy to do and solve. The rooms were very spacious and always kept clean. The facilities were cleaned everyday and floors were dry nearly all of the time in the showers.

It was very central, and for the price, I was shocked at the location. You can easily walk to the museums, the botanical gardens or just walk down the roads and catch a train or bus somewhere else. Beds we comfy enough. I wish I had an extra pillow. I did not ask for a second one tho, so that is on me! They had looooads of activities and freebies every night. When I stayed they had movie night with popcorns and nacho chips and they also had pasta night. So it was great because I was travelling solo and had the chance to meet some people by going to the events. The staff were seriously amazing. They were super accommodating and respectful. They were funny and supper cheerful.

The size of the sink. That is it. I just think they were so small, washing my face meant making a mess of the floor. But it is a small bathroom and I don't think you can fit a bigger one.

Well, the accommodation was clean and quiet. I had a good night's sleep. The room was air-conditioned, and every floor got a bathroom and toilet. I'm currently exploring every accommodation in Sydney, and this one is the best one so far.

Despite the minimal quality of bed, I remained comfortable during my time with Sydney Backpackers because the facility is well-regulated by hardworking & caring staff. Bed comfort is scored with minimal satisfaction but the facility always has room for improvement -ie, ensuring toilets are regularly cleaned, kitchen stuff are cleaned after ones commenced in utilising equipments, and promotions of booking discounts.

Ensuring electric cords and power switches are maintain fixed, broken tiles and door locked are restored, avoiding risk of electrical incidents and spontaneous fire combustion, as can be made by regular inspection, and restoration of broken appliances within the facility budget. Overall, I recommend this facility to everyone and explore the beauty of Sydney, in the heart of CBD. Thank you 💕

Location is excellent. Right @ Town Hall station, convenient to trains, tram, and ferry and for getting to all tourist attractions on foot. Centrally located in tourist hub, shops, eateries, food courts, cinema etc. Friendly staff & fellow travellers.

I only stayed one night, but found the bathrooms & toilets very dirty and lacking in signage to remind travellers of acceptable use policy for all. Uni sex toilets were unhygienic with wet floors and toilet seats. Toilet brushes were not used, & often toilet not flushed after use. They were smelly and visually offensive! Bedrooms could do with a fresh coat of paint, and sime old stained mattress protectors could be replaced.

The location of this hostel is excellent, you are in the main center of the city. I stayed in a shared room with 16 people and it was really good, there is a lot of space, air conditioner all the time and housekeeping maintain clean the floors. The beds are confortable, I slept very well.

I really enjoyed how clean the rooms were and how often they were cleaned. The staff went above and beyond for the social events and were very friendly. The hostel has everything you need and it’s in a great location

Beds are a very good quality. Hostel in CBD, easy access to the tram and subway. Staff amazing ! Big thanks to Daniel at the reception and Jon for the Summer Travel very helpful ! And the most of the hostel is the roof top, when it's sunny you will enjoy it.

The hostel is located at center point of the CBD easier to people move anywhere around to explore the city, public transport is one of the best things as there are just a few seconds of the door of the hostel and friendly staff always helpful with their customers.

Bathroom are a bit small and busy, hard to booking over weekend as many people choose this hostel to stay.

I always been here heap of time snice February 2021 I always love coming here to this backpackers hostel cause is in the heart of the Sydney CBD the guests and the staff are so super friendly to me during covid times they help me a lot feel like home to me I like the tv I got YouTube and Netflix including stranger things on it I keep calling Sydney home and I living the dream.
