I opted to go on the waitlist for a room upgrade, which I was thrilled to find out we had been allocated a suite! It was a lovey spacious room with a separate living area, two TVs and a small view of Darling Harbour. The buffet brekkie was awesome, so much to choose from and all incredibly tasty - the coffees were spot on too. Super friendly and helpful staff.

The outside of the building is looking a little dated. We were upgraded to a suite that had a Nespresso machine, but no pods just instant coffee. Something small, I know, but are people supposed to bring their own pods? The hotel is located right next to the highway so there was road noise.

Everything about it! I couldn’t think of a better location than this being a few steps away from Darling Quarter where the kids enjoyed the park. The room was amazing with two queen beds, super spacious for a family of 4! The staff were friendly and helpful especially the old man who helped us bring our stuff in the room. Bless him. The breakfast buffet was really nice with many options and I appreciate particularly the inclusion of Asian breakfast options like congee, fried rice and dumplings. The staff in the buffet were super accommodating and hospitable. Lastly, there is a parking across that’s half the price of the hotel parking so it’s a win-win plus it was just a 5 minute walk to Town Hall train station. This place ticked all the boxes and we will definitely stay here again when we come visit Sydney!

Location is absolutely perfect for Darling Harbour, just cross the road and you are there. Courtesy of the staff is probably the best I've ever seen; everyone is very friendly and nothing seems like a problem. Room servicing is seamless; like fairies been around without being seen :). Very comfortable beds. Nice breakfast with good variety. An absolute value for money

'Late night menu' although mentioned as available - had nothing beyond packed chips & fizzy drinks left by the time we tried to order at around 11PM. Not a big deal though and understandable; we managed with Uber eats instead :)

Liked everything about our stay at the ParkRoyal. While the hotel is a little older, it is well-maintained and the rooms and very clean, up-to-date, and well-presented. Especially liked the decent coffee in the room. Breakfast was amazing with far too many tasty choices! However, what worked out best for us was its location. About 5 minutes walk to Darling Harbour precinct, and a short walk to the local train that circles around the centre of Sydney, so you are at Circular Quay or the Airport within minutes. Just remember to use Town Hall Station, and not what Google suggests as it is a far more convenient walk especially if you cut through the shopping mall. We also found it a short walk for the Capitol Theatre and the Lyric Theatre (about 10 - 15 minutes away). Overall, a fantastic stay.

Nothing really! While we were in Sydney for three nights, we only booked for the Sunday and Monday nights as the Saturday was too expensive.

The concierge allowed us to store bags before and after check-in (to explore the city). They were so attentive, always offering to carry and lift our bags. Once we checked in the bags were already waiting for us in our room. One of us had a birthday, and we were treated to some complimentary birthday cake in our room. The happy hour was great value, and because we had to wait a while for drinks, they gave them to us free of charge. The room was exceptional, great views, soft lighting, comfy beds, lovely shower. Excellent location for a morning stroll of Darling Harbor and super close to the trains / shopping / great restaurants. We will most certainly be back for another luxury stay and will highly recommend to others!

We travel a great deal. We appreciate the services and courtesies of a Club Floor. Of the many we have visited, yours is the finest. You have fine staff and a menu that is outstanding. To begin with, you have hired some real professionals. In particular we would like to point out Helen and Astrid, they are very fine ambassadors for your hotel. Since you ( the reader of this review ) are not there to watch how they define hospitality, I have to tell you that their warm, sincere and genuine service does more to promote your establishment than any other advertising material you use. Have I made myself clear? We will return, if for no other reason than the courtesies, kindness and quality of your Club Floor service

The rooms are very comfortable, quiet,and spacious. Excellent service as the staff moves my luggage from one room to another upgraded room (NB: rooms at the 9th floor are even more convenient). The breakfast buffet is gorgeous and delicious. The hotel is located near Darling Harbour, a 10 minutes walk from Town Hall and a 30 minutes walk to Circular Quay: tramways and trains are also near the hotel.

The surrounding is not very nice (highways) but silence remains active inside the premises. Nothing else

I loved the front of house staff and the breakfast staff. The service was exceptional.

The staff servicing the bedrooms, were awful. It is the 1st time that I didn't feel any compunction, to leave a tip. The cups were dirty. The floors weren't vacuumed for the entire stay. The bed was made, and the wet towel was still in the bed ! I came back to take a rest in the afternoon and felt a lump in the made-up bed. The shower was tightened extra tight, because it dripped all day and night. An overhaul of the plumbing is needed I asked for some tea as I couldn't drink the one in the room. No one bothered to bring what I asked for. It's a shame because the rest of the hotel is superb.

The staff were amazing. So helpful and kind. The valet parking was a nice bonus. $65 for the night, but worth it for our short trip. They took our bags up to our room and collected it to bring it back down when we left. The restaurant was lovely. Fantastic location, with the Darling Quarter less than a 2 minute walk away which has many restaurants. Also only 600m from Pitt St mall. We will definitely stay here again!

The rooms were fine - typical hotel room. The bathrooms are quite dated and could do with a freshen up. The room itself was clean and comfortable with a great sized TV.
