All staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent and it is on the quiet side of Chinatown. The hotel is well-maintained and clean. The breakfast is excellent. The fruit and veggie are very very fresh. It is lovely. Even though my room is just an ordinary twin room, it is quite spacious.

The hotel does not have her own car park. I had to park my car at the basement of 'former' Season's Hotel, where is extremely smelly. Also, the parking fee was jaw-dropping. It costs AUD$40 per night.

Location was great - very close to Paddy's Markets and shops, and not far from Town Hall or Central stations. There were lots of food options close by and the buffet breakfast was plentiful. Updated bathroom was a pleasant surprise and huge bed was very comfortable. Staff went out of their way to accommodate our early check in. Lovely historical building with high ceilings.

The view from our room - a brick wall with barbed wire on the roof, and just a sliver of blue sky (not really what I would call a quiet street view) Am sure the front of the building had better views toward Darling Square.

Centrally located, lots of shops and supermarket nearby. Apart from the China Town, there's a area next to the hotel where lots of restaurants are located so we don't need to worry about the eatery.

Even though room is very spacious and clean and everything is great, my room has a very small window and at night, noise from the outside got into the room. Since it's China town is around the corner, the noise goes on late into the night. I assume that this is not applicable to all the room though.

Spacious room with two double beds. Being able to order certain breakfast items cooked freshly (eggs). Helpful staff at reception. Asked on booking for a quick room and this was noted. When checking in we were even moved to a higher floor to make the street noise even less audible.

Would have been good to have a room option with a double bed and two singles, rather than two doubles. For a family of four we needed more towels in the room but they were readily available when requested at reception. The breakfast items needed to be replenished quicker, such as the fruit. Sign in restaurant listed the milks available, with lactose free being one choice; however, there were no jugs of this readily available. Had to ask and then it took a while to arrive.

fab location - quiet and comfortable

i had to keep asking for water and attention to detail sometimes lacking - in a weeks stay there the two instant coffee pouches were not refreshed until day 6. Would prefer a pod machine but at least make sure it's topped up . Also face washers were not replaced after one towel refresh and the toilet wasn't cleaned after housekeeping had been (was only doing every other day but would be nice to have it cleaned unless equipment left to enable to do it )

We got the exact same room we had two weeks ago, so we were upgraded again!! The location of the hotel was wonderful for what we were going to see (ICC). They held our bags for us until our room was ready for check in as we arrived early, and also held our bags when we checked out so we could explore the city before our train without carrying all our luggage. Staff were incredibly nice, and hotel is very clean.

There was a sewerage smell around 11pm every night but I'm sure that isn't the fault of the hotel. A lot of light also came into our room during the night, making it a little difficult to sleep. Some of our wall neighbours were also a little noisy, banging on the walls a bit until about 11:30PM, then could hear their alarm going off through the wall at 6:30AM.

The room was a good size for 3 people. It was very clean, with a comfortable bed, and a really nice bathroom. The location was great, very near the LRT stop and close to some very good restaurants. Wifi was free and signal was good all throughout the hotel. The check-in was very smooth and the staff were super friendly. We didn't get the breakfast at the hotel but my friends who stayed there as well did and they said it was a good spread and worth the money. Overall, a perfect place to stay in Sydney.

Fantastic location.

We booked 2 rooms. Breakfast was included in one of the rooms but not the other. That’s what we booked. Paid individually for the room not included in breakfast option. $19.95 per person. Great array of food first morning. 2nd day 5 of us left early so requested breakfast box. It was dismal. $19.95 and it included a very small packet of muesli, small milk, 200 ml juice and 2 small very tasteless biscuits. Very very poor for the cost.

A little more information or advice from the staff on where is good to go would have been useful. Didn't realises there was a reasturant hub straight across the road and that the powerhouse museum.was withing 200-300 meters away. Carparking was so close but off site. Easy to walk from. 400mtrs or so. I found it tricky finding the right driveway. After driving around the block a few times and getting lost with the map I had to call reception as the exact address wasn't on the map they provided. But it's a great hotel. Price was pretty good in peak season.
