We always stay at the Buccaneer Motel on all occasions while visiting family on Central Coast. The staff are wonderful, the staff know us, Always welcome. Rooms are clean and fresh, staff go out of their way to help you. Restaurants, walks along the lake at just a stones' throw away. And, it's on The Entrance Road, so turn left, and your on your way to Gosford, Wyong, Forrester's Beach, turn right, and you can go to The Entrance, Long Jetty and Shelly Beach.

Traffic, being on the main highway, there's a lot of traffic. ( We did not hear the traffic from our room ) And if your coming from Gosford Way, you can't turn into the Buccaneer Motel, you must go a bit further on the road, turn into side street, and come back, a lot of mucking around.

Got in very late and the staff were really helpful. Lovely little motel with well appointed room. Nice lighting and felt very cosy and clean. Dog friendly which is amazing. Saw another fellow traveller with their little dog and felt very safe there. Would stay again if passing through the area.

They initially called to say I had to pay extra for my dog, after I had already booked and paid, but they didnt end up charging me, which was good. I would just say that it needs to be more clear on bookings.com if there are extra charges external to the system or clearly stated that your room doesn't include this fee. But my dog is a disability support dog, so I generally don't get charged extra / motels aren't meant to as it's a discrimination. But the staff were so lovely and easy to communicate with and I wouldn't mind paying the extra if I knew in advance.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the bed super-comfy. I booked here as it is pet-friendly and I was travelling with my little dog for a vet specialist appointment, my doggy didn't end up staying with me as he was hospitalised overnight. I wasn't charged the pet fee even though I let the motel know short notice. I would definitely stay here again, particularly if travelling with my doggies.

There was a huge storm the night of my stay and there was a small leak in the ceiling. It didn't really impact my stay, and reception said they would get their handyman onto it. It's the only negative I can think of, otherwise I was happy with everything.

Travelling with a dog was a first for us and we were unsure how that would go but this pet friendly motel catered with a clean room and adequate space for all of us. Our dog settled easily. There was a good spot to walk the dog around the corner and a dog beach not far away. Beds were comfortable and we had a good sleep. Bathroom clean and adequate and microwave and fridge enabled us to pick up food and warm it up as needed .

Sorry we left a bit of sand and dog hair behind. It would have been good to have a broom in the room to be able to sweep out.

I liked walking in to a fresh smelling room which had everything I needed for a very comfortable stay. Outside the room was a table and chairs to relax in. The room was really clean the staff were friendly and I could have my dog with me.

The parking got a bit tight which was fine for most of the time and needed negotiating with another motel resident once which was easy to do.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room, given the price. Very clean, and quite fresh, with everything you need. Pet friendly (huge plus for us) and a short bike ride or drive to both Toowoon Bay beach (our favourite on the coast) as well as The Entrance restaurants. Short walk to good coffee and interesting shops.

There was no lip around the shower base so water went all over the floor. The bathroom was very clean though and an anti-slip mat was provided.

Was greeted by friendly staff upon arrival who were more than accommodating. just drove over 10 hours and arrived at 7pm, was asked if I’d like some milk for Tea and Coffee and was walked to my room which was extremely clean! smelt so fresh. It was nice to finally rest in an immaculate space. Especially one that is Pet Friendly.

1st night, neighbouring sound penetrated the walls. sounded like a constant car horn, but it was only one night and not the Motels fault. Water pressure in the shower was a little weak, wasn’t really phased though as any shower was better than none.

Pet stay went well. Personally, I love the soap they supplied and the instant coffee is high standard, it tastes great. The towels were big and fluffy. The air conditioning quickly warmed the room and kept it warm with very little noise.

Next door showering made a loud noise in our room. The queen bed was warm and cosy but the mattress was a bit bouncey for a pensioner couple .

The location was a little busy for me, but the staff were wonderful and very accomodating. Nice and clean and eager to help if you needed it.

Just having to take the dog out to the naturestrip on a busy road to go to the toilet, especially early in the morning when you're still in your PJs and half asleep.

It was clean and the staff were friendly for a very brief second.

We booked a room for three and there were only cups for two. Toaster and microwave but no crockery or cutlery to be able to utilise them. The floors were freezing and no exhaust fan in the bathroom so everything was dripping wet and couldn’t use the mirror without wiping it off.
