This is an older motel that has been updated, mostly. Check-in staff are friendly and helpful. The main attraction of our top floor room was the absolutely stunning view of the ocean and the incredible rock formations. Worth staying there just for that! It's a lovely walk along the ocean, and it's possible to walk to the restaurant areas from the motel. There is also a really excellent high-end restaurant attached to the motel, though it is not owned by the motel. Gorgeous food and gorgeous views from the restaurant, as well.

There is no elevator, so you if you are on the top floor you will be schlepping your bags up there yourself. The staircases have not been updated and the tiles could use some attention. There is a minimal guest laundry with one washer and one dryer, but the dryer ate our coins and couldn't operate. As it was a weekend, there was no one to assist in retrieving our coins.

The view exceeded my expectations and is serene and spectacular. The spa inside the room was decadent, fills up quickly and the French door shutters that open next to it make the room feel luxurious.

Only thing that felt a bit disappointing was the picture displayed on the website for the Queen spa room I thought I was booking had a spa inside the room and out on the balcony but upon arrival it was only the inside spa. It may have been something I missed in all the booking process, but I felt a bit led to believe that was what I was going to surprise my wife with , but no spa on the balcony when we arrived.

I booked for 1 night, I had an amazing time, The view was absolutely amazing so close to the beach and all amenities, the location was awesome, the ladies in the office are absolutely amazing and so helpful, thank you Vicky and Karen for your warm and friendly hospitality. Highly recommend coming to this place it has everything you ever want at your finger tips (Beach front, Swimming, Local shops near by, Friendly staff, Relaxation, Modern room, Room was very clean and Tidy, Bed was so comfy. Restaurant on property, Stunning Ocean view, Peaceful, No regrets at all. Excellent value for money

We stay here regularly and the staff are very approachable and friendly, we have recommended your motel to our family and friends and they have recently booked to stay. We will be returning in the near future and really enjoyed our stay, please commend your cleaning staff as they continue to do a great job.

The fact that there where kids next door to us playing around with the spa bath taps at a ridiculous time in the morning. We feel your accommodation for the top floor is perfect for a couple romantic retreat. I recommend no kids on the top floor. Due to having the spa on the balcony this is a really rare feature within motels these days.

Beautiful ocean front views and I was able to watch whales breaching from the comfort of my bed. Beautiful little beach right in front of the Motel. Comfortable bed and neat and clean room. Staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.

Bathroom was a little dated. My toaster didn't work and the 2nd day new neighbours were loud with loud dance music being played at all hours and had soap suds in their bath and my deck ended up being covered like snow. It was really disappointing, travelling alone I didn't want to say anything at the time. I think the wall between balconies should be full length to provide further privacy.

There was nothing all, that I didn't like at all. My mum loved sitting on the balcony, watching people walked by with there family's,dogs, and saying hello, waving to the people that walked by. My mum was 82 at the time, she just turned 83. Me and mum haven't been on a holiday in years, so we both enjoyed our time there, a very beautiful memory we can both looked back on in the years to come.

Don't let the simple exterior of the building fool you, the rooms are clean and spacious and well-equipped, and the ocean views are sensational! The bed is big and comfy. The bathrooms are new and clean, with a sliding door to enjoy the view while showering if you want. The TV is big and easy to use the streaming services. Plenty of room to store clothes. The location is well placed in The Entrance, with quick access to the beaches, the Ocean Baths are across the road and the channel is a nice walk along the path. It is also a great central location to explore the Central Coast from Bouddi/Terrigal/Avoca to Norah Head/Swansea. One tip when choosing what floor to stay on. The Second Floor and Top Floor are better if you prioritise privacy, minimising how much people walking by can see in - good if you want to utilise the shower with a view, without giving people on walking by a view. The First Floor is perfect for watching sunrises in bed, with views of the rocks and waves crashing in as well (these are less likely to be in view on the upper floors when lying in bed). The Ground Floor has the most obstructed view. That said, all floors have great views from the balcony.

A really minor thing, but the bathroom light being connected to the fan means you can't have a low-light shower, which makes it almost impossible to enjoy the shower with a view if on the Ground or First Floor, without everyone walking by being able to see right in.

The view is amazing. Literally right on the waters edge. Private balcony with a lovely outdoor setting. The rooms decor has a coastal feel. Housekeeping do an excellent job, was very clean. Spa on the balcony overlooking the ocean is so relaxing! Seafood restaurant downstairs is very convenient and the food is excellent.

The stairs to get to the top level are bit of a challenge carrying luggage but the view was worth it. Another guest gave me a hand to carry my bag down which was lovely.

Spa tub room had a gorgeous view, and the spa tub on the deck was lovely. Thoughtful dividers between balconies so you can have your privacy while enjoying the view. We arrived late and the hotel would normally turn off the community gas grill after hours; however, they were gracious enough to leave the gas connected when we asked and they surprised us by also leaving a set of grilling tools in our room to make use of the grill that much easier. Room was also stocked with real plates and utensils so we were happily able to cook and enjoy a late night dinner (which we strongly preferred to takeaway). We were only there for one night but would definitely recommend this to any travelers -- wish we'd had a little more time to stick around and enjoy it. Next time!

Location is perfect. Right above the ocean baths and a small beach. Easy drive or walk into town if you want to be a little out of the way. This time we stayed in a different room type, ground floor with own grassed area off the patio. Higher rooms would give a better view but for us it was fine. We had room 1 which is the furthest away from the restaurant. Open plan bathroom area which may not appeal to everyone but we didn’t mind at all.

Nothing. This is our motel of choice in The Entrance. Spotlessly clean however the smell of bleach a little too strong upon entry - at least you know that the rooms are attended to with much care. Lovely staff should you wish to avail yourself of them. On-site parking a little tight if motel is full however plenty of space just outside.
