the apartment was fine, large, quiet, ( i did not cars from the parking garage across ) clean, washing machine the man at the desk showed me the room before i paid , that was nice so i could make sure all was good

i did not like i checked in late, about 8pm ? i have stayed in at least 25 places in australia in the last months, everyone offers me late check out, so im used to it i asked, is it possible to stay past 10 am since im checking in later, he said no, there would be a 20 AUD / hour charge that just rubbed me the wrong way. I then asked where to park, that is 20 AUD as well, not a good start, but then he said its free across the street so that is fine- i undestand its not his doing and i guess upper management but bad business, i would have stayed longer but i do not like policies like that

Great apartment. Clean, comfortable and modern. Helpful staff. Great location. This was our fourth stay over the years.

Not enough pool lounges for the size of the place. We stayed there 10 years ago and my son cut his foot on the broken tile at the bottom of the pool. It was very disappointing to see that there are now so many more missing tiles throughout the pool. I was scared that my husband or I might cut our feet on the faulty tiles. This is a safety risk that should have been remediated by now ten years later. This meant that we didn't enjoy the pool fully.

Great effort with the cleaning of the room and kitchenette was clean tidy and so well equipped. Cleaner did well. Was definitely noticed. Amazing location. We found free parking next to Nesuto opposite the oaks. Many restaurants surrounding. Lovely sea view from studio balcony room 523.

The door handle to the bathroom was abit hard to twist open/close and the door wouldnt close properly unless you gave it a good push. Minor issue but others may find it a problem. Not a fan of the shower over bathtub layout. My husband is 6ft and he found it abit of an issue height wise. Other than that, the room has your everyday basics but i love how our room was clean & tidy.

Check in was easy, however the wait for the small bottleneck of guests wanting to be checked in at the same time was dealt with by the sole reception employee was handled very professionally and as efficiently as was possible with the challenge of minor miscommunications about what the request of payment for the $1 deposit entailed and why cash wasn't an option; in all fairness it would be great if the possibility of further charges to the initial pending transaction were explained to guests. Would prevent any issues on either side of the contract if that was to occur, otherwise I would foresee the likelihood of a guest being understandably confused and angry about additional charges they weren't actually aware of prior to signing the contract (without reading it, as it has become common practice).

Some minor cleaning issues: hairs in drain of shower, weird objects under the bed (one was a bouncy ball, the other I'm hoping was a half used hot glue gun stick and not anything butt or drug related 🙃) soap scum buildup behind and under the tap bases, dust building up on power points and light switches bedhead etc. All can be easily and quickly fixed by your cleaning team.

Absolutely amazing to the point we extended our stay! I’ve never seen a hotel cleanliness be to this standard, and being provided with washing facilities including the powder made it easy to extend the stay without question. Everything is within walking distance with a large free car park right at the foot of the hotel. The staff are very friendly and nothing was a bother to them. The view alone was all we needed not to mention how big and nice the pool was. I usually don’t even swim but I was in it everyday! I found it reasonably priced especially for the peak holiday season. I would highly recommend and will be staying again!

I honestly could not think of one thing I didn’t like. Even when I came to check in and they said my room was still 10 minutes away from being ready the staff member was already making accommodations to compensate me for that inconvenience so there was no need to complain - in fact we actually were better off in the end and the level of cleanliness the room was in when we walked in had made it worth the wait anyways so absolutely nothing negative to say!

Location close to beach and a free car park. The pool size is fair and includes a spa! I love how the apartment includes a washer and dryer; it also includes towels and bet sheets. The TV package included foxtel and free to air TV. It was free! The check-in process was super easy and drama free. Thanks for giving us a travel cot. The overall stay was pleasant; considering it is peak season, the room was well maintained.

The apartment had a musty smell on entry. The room could have done with a good vaccum and a good clean. I suggest the OAKS replace the carpet in the rooms as it was faded and slightly dirty. Perhaps this can be done in off peak months. The room was slightly dusty.

The last time I stayed in a room with cooking facilities (NOT HERE!) i pulled the frypan out of the cupboard & discovered it had been put away unwashed by the last tenant, it was mouldy & disgusting. That sent me on a mission to discover everything had been put away dirty. GROSS! And then it obviously hadn’t been checked & cleaned by housekeeping DOUBLE GROSS! I can’t tell you how pleased i was to discover everything here was absolutely spotless. The entire room was perfectly clean. The bed was comfortable. The other furnishings were also practical & comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, with the bonus of a washing machine and dryer. The water flow rate in the shower was easily enough to wash shampoo out of my long hair, yes folks, that is a legitimate problem with stingy water saving shower heads. I think my ocean view may well have had the best view in the entire motel of good views. Wonderfully situated right on the waterfront with very easy access to the main street with all it’s cafes & pubs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It’s hard to think of any negatives. The laundry tap dripped a bit, big deal. One of the elevators was out of service, so that made waiting for the lift a bit slow. Not intolerable though.

The property is very out dated. However is comfortable and in an amazing location. The receptionist was not welcoming. He was quite blunt. Noticed he says the exact same thing to each guest. I had to ask about car parking as it’s not mentioned in check in. The reception closes and no signage to allow guests to know the length of time it’s closed. There are no smart televisions in the rooms. Internet service.was not great Cleaners do not come in to make beds and give you fresh towels. No too up of coffee tea and milk is given daily. Could do with a makeover from the 90’s to date. Car park us $15 a night for hotel. The car park is very tight. Larger cars are harder to get up and down levels. A lot of car parks are reserved. Level one has entry to go inside the building to elevators. Not enough signage to assist guests. Winter prices are great. Food court and water is at your feet. No need to drive. Taffys sports bar on esplanade. Great vibe. Cocktails a little overpriced! Water frontage surely increases the price of everything.

No smart televisions. Nights most families like to rewind kick back and watch platforms on smart televisions. Very out dated. Needs upgrading especially for summer guests who are paying high prices for accommodations. Customer service training! Car park is very tight for 4x4 utility. Cleaners don’t make beds or refill coffee and tea station. No clean towels. Stayed 3 nights room was not freshened up. Partner had no milk to make coffee. They supply 3 little containers. You need all three for one cup and it’s still dark.

Great location, beautiful heated pool, spacious room with everything you need and nice balcony

So sad that you only have 9 lounge chairs around the beautiful pool. We are 60 and there were other couples of our age who also had to lay on the hard concrete. The shower was such low pressure, hard to wash hair. The beds a little hard too. Staff were not very enthusiastic or welcoming , a bit of a shame as it’s huge when you get a warm welcome and that didn’t happen.

Stayed in room 108, nice ocean view, and view of the lake. It was a nice studio apartment, it has a shower and bath, great water pressure, good hot water. Kitchen was good with a nice fridge. The bed was extra large, very comfortable, tv I'd free to air with a blueray player. There is sufficient free parking in the council carpark undercover. On levelv2 there is a heated pool, spa and gym. The location is good near the tuggerah lakes, close to coffee shops and restaurants,

Mostly everything is good, although I did notice when walking to the lift on level one a strong perfume smell, as it lingered for a few days I assumed it is used by the hotel.
