Location was perfect for medical reasons . Our room was clean and basic. The bathroom reminded me of a bathroom on a cruise ship only smaller but it wasn’t to bad. Bed was comfortable and I always bring my own pillow so I can’t comment on pillows. Our room was quiet on the 4th floor Breakfast was fine, I didn’t have the buffet just takeaway menu and coffee . There’s a bar restaurant and a small lounge area near reception so if you didn’t want to go out you don’t have to. Staff were very friendly

The matter of paying for parking or signing up to become a member. I’m already a member but off course I booked through a 3rd party so that didn’t qualify!! We had to sign up with my husband’s email address. Really !! That’s just a con isn’t it . In all honesty why charge for parking anyway!!.

Clean, neat and tidy room and the ensuite was quite a surprise, it made us smile .... the design made a great use of the space (spaceship) and the bathroom products were a real surprise. The receptionist and manager were very helpful and obliging - the lobby is amazing with a lounge area, dining room and water/glasses on the way to reception. Also outside table and chairs in the carpark at the front entrance !!!!

You can't really open the window much because it's a bit nousy.

We stay here whenever we visit friends who live locally so it’s very convenient. Always comfortable and clean with on site parking. Staff are always friendly and helpful. The Christmas mince pies and chocolates were a lovely touch.

We pre paid our booking so it was a surprise to be charged an extra amount after checkout. This was for parking @ $10 per night. Parking was always free in the past so it would have been nice if this were mentioned on check in.

Ibis is a budget hotel, you cannot expect luxurious facilities. I prefer it over others because of cost. This Ibis hotel is located at the north end of Sydney. It is good an overnight stay for travellers heading to Brisbane. Close to A1 motorway. Close to some good restaurants and there is a huge 24 hrs McDonalds next to it. Check in and check out process was smooth. Was surprised to know the parking was not free and there were ample of parking spots vacant.

Parking was not free.

The best part of this property is its staff who give exemplary service. The buffet breakfast is very good. You get it a little cheaper by ordering it in advance with your booking or at check in. The bed is comfortable and great water pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water. The window can be opened if you want some fresh air. The location is great with supermarkets and a very good cafe (Dinoni) walking distance. There is also a Maccas in the next block.

Didn't like having to step up into the bathroom. It is quite a high step. $10 per night for parking.

The location is excellent, as arriving from the North, we did not have to cross the city, we could leave the car at the hotel for $5 for a day and travel by train to the city and come back. The train station is a 5-minute walk, it is convenient.

The fan in the bathroom is a bit noisy and the fan stays on at night as well. Or it might be the air-conditioning, but there is a bit of noise continuously.

Pancakes were great. There was a high chair and for provided for my baby which was sooo helpful. It was very clean. Also the staff were so lovely and really made it a great venue to stay at. Receptionists were amazing

The buffet breakfast was not the best. Very average. The eggs were extremely salty, hash browns were soggy and cold, baked beans were half water. Not that big of a spread though the pancakes were good. Coffee was very strong aswell and did not taste good

i liked that the room was quiet and wasn't bothered by the traffic, plus it was good the room was ready for me when i got there early and the bed was pretty good and it seems IBIS has a good selection for food, but make sure y add to your room so don't have to pay for it... Reception lady was very nice and helpful as well :)

nothing comes to mind,,, i guess the only downside is that i only stayed one night :)

Close to where I needed to be. Very happy about the 24hr check in. Bed was comfy. Simple room, but that's all i needed. Was great to have a 24hr restaurant

Im not used to sleeping in a single bed. I pushed them together and during the night I rolled over and fell off the bed ha ha. One night I brought back take away but the room had no cutlery other than a teaspoon. Not the motels fault. But the traffic from the highway was pretty loud all night.

Service was very good on arrival and the full breakfast service was very nice and well priced.

Dirty glass and cups in the room weren't changed daily. Shouldn't have to wash a cup and dry with a towel you've used to dry your body. Coffee was not resupplied in the room on a daily basis so limited to only 2 cups of coffee in the room for the 3 days. With only one chair in the room where 2 people were staying it wasn't possible to sit and have a room service meal. Eating on the bed isn't a good option in my book. Lastly, the night manager totalled our final bill and charged to my card before we came to check out. Had previously mentioned we wanted to pay for extras in cash so was a bit annoyed about this being done.
