The location is fantastic, very close to Westfield, cafes and all the shops even close to the train station. The check in was easy, and the room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed was firm but fairly comfortable.
The rooms and hotel Decor was very old, it had an overall smell that reminded me of cigarettes even though it’s obviously a non smoking hotel. I think the carpet has been there since people were allowed to smoke in pubs. The carpet in the room is very old and needs to be changed at the very least. The bathroom was old but decent enough but could use a working exhaust fan. The”breakfast” was a few slices of bead in the fridge and some spreads. Also some cereal packets in the cupboard

Location, location, location. The best pub room I have ever stayed in. I spent the evening at the bar listening to a great band and enjoyed the bar snacks. Drink prices were reasonable and the locals befriended me as an out of towner.
I was very disappointed that the historical caricatures of past locals were no longer visible as they added an individual ambience the this hotel. I sincerely hope they are in storage and protected somewhere.

Location was perfect. Close to public transport and shops and food! Book in staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff were amazing! Breakfast was very helpful! Shower was hot and good water pressure.
The rooms and bathrooms are a little ‘tired’. But clean and serviceable and absolutely functional!

The rooms are upstairs and the entrance is also up a lot of steps.

The staff were fantastic! They made us feel like family. Big shout out to Jenny . The food was excellent and well priced , with entertainment in house live music and Karaoke. Will definitely stay again !

The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. The Bistro was very convenient, and the food was good and well priced. The location, in the centre of Hornsby was good.
The bar fridge was very noisy and had trouble maintaining a low temperature. There was no power socket by the bed - luckily I pack an extension cable.

Worked really well as an overnight stop between Sydney and Hawkesbury. Huge shopping centre next door with supermarkets, cinema and good selection of restaurants. Good pub downstairs.
The bedrooms are more suited to a motel than a hotel - which was fine for us.

The hotel is well situated right next to Westfield shops so this was handy for lunch after we arrived. The manager was also very helpful with my wife's early arrival. The convenience of a bistro also welcome, dinner being good value.
