It was very quiet at night and within walking distance of the harbour, restaurants and close to the harbour and shops. Very clean, had everything we needed.Good security. No issues with loud noises or rowdy neighbours.

Reasonably comfortable, but bed was too firm for us. Taps sometimes screamed when you turned them on. Could definitely do with a refresh with painting. Hot plates were very old electric and grotty looking, although clean. Same for outside of fridge. All outside windows needed de-cobwebbing. Balcony door didn't latch although could be locked in open position. Receptionist managed to fix it temporarily but promised tradesman never materialised. Didn't enjoy corridor smells of cleaning products mixed with cooking smells. Having said all that, our stay was comfortable enough for the price point.

Friendly reception, kept me updated on reception open hours due to it being Easter Sunday. Asked for an earlier check in and was advised when room became available. Room was very clean and the balcony was quite private. No outside noise. Bed was extremely confortable and the blackout curtains were appreciated. Good central location, easy walk to shops and beach. I enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it to others.

The kitchen items were a bit limited if you were staying for an extended visit. A few more crockery options like a deep bowl rather than 2 shallow cereal bowls would be helpful.

Communication from hotel and staff were friendly, easy to pick up keys as you are able to park directly out the front reception doors. Free parking with great spaced car spots! Super central location, the room had great facilities. Free wifi and the TV has netflix, youtube etc which was great.

The walls of the hotel were quite thin, the noise from other rooms came in quite easily especially when other guests were staying with their doors open and having guests over. It was a bit tricky going up the stairs with a child, I would recommend placing guests with children on the bottom floor if there is space. The balcony door was really difficult to open and close and there was no deadlock (or second lock) on the door from the inside which with children was a bit stressful knowing they could open the door at anytime. But the stay was great!

Lovely big room, very clean with seating for comfort and a small verandah overlooking the trees in the street. Comfy bed. Superb shower in spacious ensuite.Loved the hand was & toiletries. Really lovely staff- had a great chat 😜 Great location, within walking distance of both wharf and town centre ( although we drove because of the horrendous rainfall) Plenty of parking. The hotel had good security. And I loved all the ( huge) Australian pictures.

The rain! - but that has nothing to do with the accommodation 😜

When we arrived we greeted warmly & professionally. Our room was to be on the upper floor but as we had been travelling and camping it was hard to get our things upstairs. We were offered a room on the ground floor which was much appreciated. Thanks to the wonderful staff for local information as well, so that we could stretch our legs and walk into the city centre.

The bed had a lump on one side where my husband slept but otherwise a great stay

Very comfortable, the space was good for two people. There was a small balcony with a small table and chairs - while the view was the driveway and next apartment block, it was still nice to be able to sit outside. Shower had good water pressure and was roomy. Bedroom was a good size and bed was very comfortable. I only used the kitchen to make a cup of tea but it seemed to have all you need for a short stay - hot plate, microwave. No dining table but two stools at the kitchen bench. There is a washing machine too (funny position just inside the apartment door but apart from that, it looked brand new). Blockout curtains were good. Nice to be able to have opening windows and sliding door (with a security lock so we could keep it ajar). The street is one-way and only a couple of blocks from the beach - about a 7 minute walk to Wollongong Harbour. Parking out the back - we got a spot undercover (not many of those).

Room was great, I liked having no tv in the bedroom for a change, but tv in lounge area. Kitchen was great with convection microwave & induction cook top. Dishwasher and washing machine unexpected bonus. Friendly staff, couldn't fault it. Close to the beach and centre of Wollongong. Secure entrances all down the side of building, so it didn't matter where your room was. You weren't walking for miles. Smart. We'll be back.

The location of the property is great. It is an easy walk to Wollongong North beach and also to the City Centre. There are a number of restaurants nearby. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and very comfortable.

Our room was great and very spacious. Unfortunately it rained and the downpipe near our bedroom window was a little irritating but nothing to really complain about.

It was only a short walk to the beach with its beautiful ocean pool, to the Art Gallery of Wollongong with a new and splendid exhibition, to the Wollongong Town Hall for a wonderful concert from the Australian Chamber Orchestra (mostly Beethoven) and many good restaurants. I liked being in a neighbourhood rather than on a highway setting. We took the train from Sydney which is only an hour from Sutherland and goes through magical country.

We loved our stay, so peaceful Nd close to everything. Staff were just awesome.

Needed extra cutlery, scissors, frying pan. Everything was 2 sets only, huge frying pan for 10 , a small one would have been nice, cooked streak it was terrible turned into stew. Needed scissors to cut dishwashing little sachets I had to use knife. Extra towel in cupboard would have been nice but overall stay was brilliant and yes we would stay there again and bring our own stuff.
