This was the second time we have used the Solomon Inn Motel for two nights stays. On both occasions we had Hospital procedures booked and this Motel is so convenient as there are lots of food venues close to it and it is also a short straight run up to the Wollongong Hospital. The room was painted out nice and new carpet fitted, which was a pleasure compared to some motels we have stayed in over the years with their dusty, dirty and smelly rooms on offer. The People who run this Motel are helpful and welcoming, which is just what you need after a long tiring drive up from the country.

There wasn't really anything to complain about.

This property has been newly renovated and the pictures on the site are indicative of the quality of the rooms. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the bathrooms modern. There was parking in front of your room and there was little or no road noise. The kitchenette was adequate for a short stay and breakfast is available on site. Air conditioning was available, however we found the room warm enough without using the A/C. We had a very comfortable stay at this property and would book again. Accommodation was very good value for money.

Was at the back so was quiet. Nice upgrades to when I stayed before. Bed comfy but did feel like my feet were higher than my head.

There was a smell in the bathroom which they tried to fix but didn't follow up if it was gone till I left. No offer to move me. There is an info book that I wish I had read on the 1st day. It asked that people don't reverse park due to exhaust but no one did. I started to after I read the book. It also says cutlery and bowls etc available at reception, no cost listed? Breakfast was also mentioned but no cost either? I think there was a guest laundry but I couldn't see it but I didn't look very hard. Getting in and out of the driveway is a bit risky as it is on a very busy road

my priorities were budget, cleanliness, friendly staff, quiet and pleasant environment. it met all these. being set in the figtree park was a wonderful surprise. beautiful mature trees give the place a sense of grandeur which offset the older buildings. the heavy rain which contributed to the rushing waterway was a bonus - the sound of running water is very soothing.

I expected that for the tarriff, the building would be old. This was the case, but it was only problematic when there was intense downpour as I had to leave the building and the lack of guttering on the roof meant rain poured into my car as I opened the doors. This is hardly the fault of the motel managers - if I'd had an umbrella or could've waited for the downpour to pass, it wouldn't have been an issue. Note the premises are under renovation. Also note that I was very satisfied with what I got for the price I paid.

Family of 3 travelled to Figtree to go to a wedding. We were given room 46,facing the gardens. It was a very nice outlook. The room had been renovated. It was very clean & comfortable. Everything worked as it should. The location was perfect for us. If we are coming this way in the future we would stay here again. We would recommend to friends & family.

Not really anything we didn't like. Only suggestion would be to add a full length mirror somewhere in the room or bathroom. Otherwise everything was really good.

As on the previous question, I did not request for a quiet room. However the entire Solomon Inn is a quiet place. I have stayed there many times before and will continue to stay there wherever I visit Wollongong. The owner Mark and his wife are excellent people. His wife is an excellent cook too. Breakfast is very nice.

Everything was absolutely perfect...no complaints at all... Full 100%✓✓✓✓✓

It was quiet an reasonably well appointed for a short stay.

It was quiet when there were no dills making noise treating it like a party hire, they could put room numbers on the parking spaces as I had to park in other peoples spots when I came in late, I think guests should be informed that the space outside the motel room is for that room only, if you have another car coming find a visitors space elsewhere. I left my key in the door overnight and it was still there in the morning indication they do no security checks at night. Fortunately there were no opportunistic thieves there that night. my issue on the parking is due to both my and my wife's mobility issues.

Everything was great. bed was comfortable. blankets were warm. staff were nice.

toilet small and positioned wierd, but that can be helped so it was ok. No cutlery or bowls/plates in the room. the small light close to the bed, the cover kept falling off, maybe securing it more.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Location is central to everything that you could need.

I received a call after I had left saying that I had kept the key. I had left the key in the room when I left... the room had been cleaned by the cleaners and not found... even though it was easy to see. That made me question the quality of the cleaning. Although, everything seemed to be suitably clean.

First appearance it is an old style hotel, but lovely front hedge and wall that protects from noise, also the back reserve area with the trees and grass surround is quite nice. The room had been updated and all modern bedding and fresh new modern bathroom, kitchenette was small but new clean & sufficient for our needs.

We were only there overnight, so really nothing to complain about.
