Perfect location opposite Pumicestone Package. Close to shops. Great central location. Rooms are a good size. Updated bathrooms. Rooms have a microwave and toasted for those who want to eat in. Crockery and cutlery supplies. Bed was comfortable. Being an older brick walled motel the rooms held the temperature well. This weekend temps were 35+ degrees and we didn’t need the air conditioning. Pool area has picnic tables which we used to have lunch with friends. It’s not 5 star luxury but it met all we needed for some time away.

Being woken by others coming back to their rooms at between 2 and 4am and not caring about others staying. Obviously outside the managers powers, I just wish others were more respectful.

friendliness of the lady at reception, friendly & helpful. the view from the room was great, even though on the bottom floor, located close to Sandstone Point Hotel (our reason for coming to Bribie Island), also the park across the street. shops are easy to get to. amenities were fine, except toilet roll was broken but the receptionist told us it'd been done by previous stay,

there were a few places that could have been cleaned a little better, the table still had glass/cups marks. also think Smoking should be allowed on the patio as long as the glass door to the room is shut, some guests were doing this, appreciate that there is a designated smoking area but unable to be used all the time due to the rainy weather, maybe some sort of little shelter over there

Liked that the car parking was available onsite right behind the rooms and that there were many spaces to choose from. Excellent location on the esplanade with water views, easy access right across the road to lovely parks and boardwalk. Rooms were simple, but clean and well laid out with everything needed for a short stay.

Facilities would be better if shaded parking was available and more secure if there were gates to swipe in and out.

1. First all, location was prime. Opposite the Pumicestone passage and next to a canal, the hotel offered secure mooring for our boat on their pontoon, and easy walks along the waterfront, to parks, shops and restaurants. Being on Welsby Parade, the hotel is surprisingly quiet, with very little traffic after dark. 2. The hotel staff were more than accommodating. After hearing of our intention to bring the boat, they allocated us a room where we could see our boat and have easy access. Every correspondence was timely and friendly. The same cordial interactions continued throughout our stay. We were welcomed personally and given water bottles upon arrival. 3. The rooms were above basic. Being a motel, you don’t expect too much in the way of luxury. However, little touches, like the water bottles, made the stay more pleasant. Nice toilet paper, bathroom products, side lamps, a microwave, a large clean bar fridge, plates and utensils, large rubbish bins, lockable screen doors, free Wi-Fi (good enough to run programs on Google) new ceiling fans (this is something rare!) and air conditioning (that we didn’t need to use) are examples of the extra touches. 4. The bed was very comfortable. Slept like a baby - even on the first night! Blankets in closet in ‘washing bag’ to show how clean they were. Not many motels clean their top covers, so this was exceptional. 5. The room and bathroom was clean and not run down. This place is old. It obviously has some history here, but everything was in working order and not run down. Some things had been replaced, like the new shower door and vanity. Everything felt clean and hygienic. 6. Plenty of room for a motel room, including generous balcony.

not much not to like. the furniture in the room could be updated. I also don’t like plastic jugs, so a better jug for boiling water would be nice.

The location was perfect and secluded. It was a lovely comfortable stay. Nothing was too much to ask for. And because of the terrible weather we were no longer able to have a beach picnic like planned but the fact that we had such a large room meant that my little girl could still have her 2nd birthday party which is the reason we were down there. Will definitely be rebooking here.

Nothing we didn't like but because there is the availability of the bath maybe a few more bathmats would be handy. Also maybe some slightly better quality and larger tea towels for the kitchen

Good location, walk to supermarket etc. Excellent views over Pumicestone Passage. Clean and comfortable living area.

Rather dated bar fridge - many motels are changing over to proper small fridge freezers, which are not expensive for the smaller models. This would be good for people staying for several days and doing their own catering. Cramped ensuite. Although the fittings were up to date and clean, the ensuite could do with an update to provide safety rails for the toilet and shower. Many motel patrons are elderly and even in my mid 70s I had to grab onto the hand basin to get off the loo! Also since the pandemic, all the $120 motels have gone up to $170 which I feel will come back to bite them as overseas travel picks up again and customers go back to Bali, Hawaii whatever.

The location was perfect to our stay as we were attending a concert at Sandstone Point Hotel. The room was clean, well presented and comfortable to our needs. It was close to our venue to the point that we could walk to and from it with ease.

Not a major problem but light sleepers would possible be woken by the early morning traffic noise by passing motorists. We did notice that the facilities provided, ie the coffee satchels we found one satchel empty (it was still sealed) and another one was dry.

Fantastic location with a great outlook and friendly, welcoming lovely staff. We arrived early and a very helpful housekeeper opened up the laundry room so we could store our luggage until checkin. Marg on reception was also very helpful and nothing was a bother. The motel is only a minutes walk to the bay with amazing scenic views. Shops, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance too. The room was immaculate and the bed and pillows very comfortable. There were cold glasses in the fridge and water, milk tea,coffee available from reception every day.

Nothing to dislike

We loved where this property is located as hubby is a keen fishermen. The room was spotless. The whole property was spotless actually. The lady in reception was so nice and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to friends and family.

To be honest there wasn't anything that we didn't like about our stay.....except that it was raining hence no fishing happened lol

Unit was exeptionally clean and well presented

Someone kept parking right in front of my room so I couldn't park there. I have a bad back and use a walking stick so requested a ground floor room, which was great, but the parking spots didn't seem to be allocated to specific rooms so I had to walk quite a way with my luggage which was a bit of a disappointment.
