Cyclone Jasper may have battered the coast, but the Coral Tree Inn staff weathered it all with smiles and unwavering service. From the moment the cyclone warnings blared, unfortunately for us it was on our second day in Cairns, the staff sprang into action showcasing extreme professionalism. They gave us clear instructions, regular updates, and a constant sense of calm under the pressure and chaos. When anxieties ran high, they were there with a listening ear and a reassuring word. They turned a potentially harrowing experience into a story of unwavering hospitality. If you're looking for a hotel in Cairns, look no further than the Coral Tree Inn.

Great location and friendly staff excellent value for money breakfast was good possibly a little more variety

Cute and friendly little hotel. It's not the Ritz and doesn't have a ton of glamour - but it's not trying to be, and doesn't need to be. It's a great location - far enough from the promenade etc that you're not stuck listening to dreadful music all night, but close enough to walk for dinner in just a couple of blocks. Staff were friendly and helpful. I've stayed in MUCH more expensive hotels that weren't nearly as good.

We checked in 4 hrs early but rooms weren't ready and we realised time but some place do let you in. lovely lovely man on desk said would get a priority for a room, went to lunch, gone 2 hours our lovely man was gone and woman on desk said not ready, have to wait, so we did another 25 minutes. Don't believe for 1 minute a room wasn't ready. The rooms were good except booked for 2, I desk chair only Had to sit on bed to eat. Would have been so much nice to have had 2 easy chairs, room was certainly big enough. Also would hv like to see 2 chairs for the terrace., pool would have been lovely to sit and enjoy from our room Would certainly stay again. Oh and the breakfast was beautifully presented and continental had every thing and more that you needed. Was fairly close to town but for oldies a curstey van would have been amazing.

No easy chairs or extra chair to sit on. And thought lady on the desk when we got back was extremely unhelpful. All the other staff were more than helpful. Never swam but the pool area looked amazing

Location was ideal and staff were nice. Handy BBQ area and laundry facilities for a fee. Aircon in the room too!

Pool was nice but small so there were only space for about 5-6 people in it. There was no room cleaning and making of beds. Just a small thing but would have been nice to have freshened sheets.

An excellent location. It is within walking distance to the Esplanade and Cairns Private Hospital. I enjoyed the upgrade. Although the motel is showing it age in places, it is clean. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. The full breakfast was excellent value.

I didn’t like having to carry my luggage to the third floor, nor parking my car on the street.

Coral Tree Inn was a great value hotel within walking distance of restaurants, cafes and the lagoon pool. We were made very welcome and could leave our bags in a luggage store room both before and after our stay and we could use the hotel facilities whilst we were waiting.

The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Great facilities including a pool, laundry room and BBQ area.

Room was spacious with a nice patio. Patio was covered which came in handy when it rained. Hotel was walking distance of many restaurants, the sea walk, a pharmacy and the aquarium. Staff was helpful. There was also always off site parking available on the street.

The pool was not as inviting as the picture.

Good and spacious rooms comfortable bed, the neighboring hostel was just a bit scary as walking at night.
