We had a room in the BACK part of the accommodation, with a private bathroom. The second time, we chose a DELUXE room, which was incomparable. Everything was beautifully clean, brand new, fragrant, and spacious!!! The Deluxe room was much cheaper than other hotels in the area and met all our expectations. Since I attended the stay with my mother and daughter, I was a bit worried but pleasantly surprised. Everything went excellently, without any complications. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. We also used the pool!!! It was beautiful, clean, and we were mostly alone by it!!!

The first room did not meet our expectations, but the Deluxe was excellent!!!

Location is great being right on the esplanade but just a little out away from the Centre ensured not in amongst all noise of restaurants, tourist hustle & bustle Pool area was fantastic, very clean & water was crystal clear, kitchen facilities all as would expect & noise curfew kicks in 11pm. Owner/manager Zenon was very understanding & helpful to help with issue during stay.

Property was a little tired however can see the owner is very busy updating with maintenance being undertaken on the original buildings with painting & fixing of amenities that will help enhance the overall cosmetic feel.

What a wonderful place. I got a free upgrade to a recently-refurbished chalet with a bedroom and adjoining lounge with a fridge and a great , hot shower. There is a lovely pool and cooking facilities for those who wish to use them (not me!). Caravella is right on the sea front and a short walk to the vibrant Cairns nightlife near the Lagoon. Staff were welcoming and helpful.

It would be nice to have Wi-Fi in the chalets, but I think they are working on this.

Zenon and his team took great care of me. Ask them to hook you up with Jeremy for a tour of the Daintree Rainforest. You will not regret it. Place is a couple of minutes on foot to central Cairns. Malaysian restaurant out front was very good. Check-in is possible after hours. Keys will be placed in a safe. Checkout and bag storage was flawless. Would definitely stay again.

Great location! Although I didn’t use it the pool it was a nice inclusion. Staff were very friendly too! The accommodation is about a 15 minute walk from the Reef Fleet Terminal, which is handy as this is where you depart for trips to the Great Barrier Reef and Fitzroy Island. Thank you for a pleasant stay :)

I love walking on the Explanade .Also my child love to play in the playground opposite the accommodation. Location is perfect and i walked around. My 3 nights with my 12 year old boy was pretty good

Bathroom had no lock Everything I wanted to use the bathroom for toilet or bath I have to tell my son, I am using the bathroom so don't come in

The location was great. Just one minute walk to the sea shore. The staff (Peta) were extremely helpful and friendly. She helped me book excursions and organised my stay for an extra night in the same room. Even booked a cab to take me to the airport early in the morning.

It's not a hotel so it's bound to be a bit rough around the edges but it suited my needs. Could be a bit cheaper.

After a somewhat unfortunate check-in, I received a unique and unbelievable compensation. I don't want to give any details, but I've never experienced anything like this. wow and thank you very much. I stayed in a double room with a private bathroom. It was more like a small apartment with a separate bedroom. Everything is spacious and very clean. A broken lightbulb was immediately replaced. The hostel is very centrally located, right on the Esplanade, and yet a little distance from the hustle and bustle and therefore nice and quiet, especially at night. A good breakfast is available right outside the door at Muddy's. I can absolutely recommend the accommodation.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was close to the city center. The internet connection was good.

I hope the bedside table and lamp could be placed next to the bed rather than on the opposite side.

Our room was spacious and bright. We had a bedroom, a bathroom + a small living area with a 2 seaters sofa with a mini fridge+ a kettle. The staff was lovely. The swimming pool was clean and great!

The mattresses were uncomfortable and squeaky and the pillow very flats.
