The owner/manager was incredibly kind and helpful and made us feel very comfortable with our stay. Our unit was well cared for and we had everything we needed for our time there. We opted to drive or rideshare to the main area of town for most of our stay, but the distance was walkable if time allowed. The wifi was strong and allowed multiple people from my group to be connected and productive during our stay.

Our unit happened to be in a heavy foot traffic area so we kept the shades closed more frequently than we’d have liked, for privacy sake, but that was not the end of the world.

the kids loved the pool. room was quiet. The airconditioning and fans worked well and kept it cool. Useful to have the cooking facilities in the apartment to make breakfasts. Great family accomodation with plenty of space and good value for money. They hosts were friendly and very helpful with tourist information. There is a nice pub/bistro very close by, as well as a supermarket and service station. We were first time visitors to cairns, and there are tours such as the skyrail, and barrier reef ones, which pick you up directly from the hotel which is very convenient.

a little bit further from the esplanade/city then we would have liked, but easy enough to get ubers around. would recommend getting a hire car if staying for a longer period to travel to the many beautiful areas, but that is our fault for not doing our research about location and the area.

The pool was awesome. 2 teenagers loved it. Quiet warm and refreshing. Booked 2 bedroom apartment and motel room due to the size of our party. The apartment had everything we needed. The location was close to town. We were under the flight path, so we could hear the planes flighing during the day. Air-conditioners worked great. Gated secure parking, bit tight to manuvour. Would stay again

Parking out the back is a bit tight but manageable. But it is a secure parking area. Most guests seem to not have a car. All our tours we booked picked us up from the apartment, so we probably didn't need to hire a car.

Mike made sure all are looked after. The location is great. Bikes available for rent. Very secure place. Access codes for both the entry and car park. There is a coin-operated laundry facility. $4 per wash. Coles Express and other shops nearby. Could walk to CBD

In-between cleaning is only for those who finish more than 7 days. No supplies are refilled in between. Toilet roles are provided on a very minimal basis. For 4 of us for 5 days, we got 2 rolls! The rest you have to buy. The room we booked had cooking facilities, but the utensils were not enough. Sugar, coffee, milk, etc we just buy when the initial 4 to 6 packets are done.

The room was clean and very comfortable, the noise was low considering the room was by the main road, the stay was very good, and the security was good because of the lock down gates that needed a code to entre at night and parking the car was safe because a pass code was needed to get in the car park which was a bonus because of the car theft around cairns from youth at night the car was safe for the two days I was there.

The stay was good, no complaints. only traffic sound a few hours at night.

The manager, Mike, was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. First impression of the apartment in the gloom of arriving on a dark day/evening of torrential rain was of a stark, drab place. But when a day later it got sunny, it was just right. Peaceful, well-equipped and with a great shower, etc.

Only minor things such as the sofa with it’s taped-up repairs and the harsh neon-strip light in the double bedroom but got used to those things quite quickly.

The apartments are well located, not far from the airport and a 20 minute walk into town, and there is also a frequent public bus service from outside the door. The place is a little dated (as expected), but very good value for what is provided. My room was very clean, and everything worked as it should, although a little more bench space for the microwave and other appliances would have been appreciated. I enjoyed my short stay and have made a further booking for later this year.

While the room itself was quite spacious with a largish bathroom, the "kitchenette" area was quite cramped, but still functional. An additional bedside table with lamp would have been handy, as I found the lighting to be either too bright or too dim. A second lamp would have been perfect. Also, the wifi was quite patchy and prone to drop out. Just as well my phone has plenty of data available for connecting to the internet. Road noise is a fact of life on Sheridan St. While there were these minor issues, none of them are deal breakers for me given the overall value.

The apartment was clean, well fitted out and situated right in front of the beautiful pool. It was a lovely way to wake up each day with a view of the pool. Our hosts were lovely and friendly and very helpful.

The surrounding area was a little rough with the locals but the property had secure parking and fencing so it was very safe.

The property was centrally located, it was only a 5min drive away to the main CBD, less than 10mins drive to the airport & about a 10min walk to the esplanade. It had the basic accomodation facilities that you’d need with a great shower head. If you’re looking for luxury accomodation, this isn’t it - although you’d get a bang for your buck here if all you need is a comfortable stay that has all the basic amenities that you need. It has a kitchenette, ironing board & iron, AC, comfortable beds, couch & TV. The female owner was very accomodating to my parents & was very welcoming!

The location suited me. There was a good hotel nearby that served good value and delicious meals. There was a bakery, supermarket and specialist delicatessen with pizza shop and Thai food within walking distance. I was able to get sandwiches and rolls for lunch at the nearby servo. The friendly owner called a taxi for us to return to the airport.

Nothing, it was good value and would return again.
