Good location on the Esplanade not too far from the CBD. Great knowledgeable staff and very good value. Plenty of onsite parking. Ground floor rooms available. Well set up kitchen and laundry. Suitable for an extended stay.

The pool was far too warm.

The apartment is quite large and spacious. The bathroom is a good size, the bedrooms have closets and the kitchen is decent for a short term stay. The apartment is right across the street from the esplanade walk all the way to the boat piers. The pool is small but cute, not heated so it’s a bit chilly

The beds were a bit uncomfortable and small. There are 2 twin beds and a queen bed. The couches in the living room are small and not suitable for 4 people to sit comfortably. The apartment was VERY hot! The AC goes to 22C for a low and it was way too warm in there. There are ceiling fans but the bedroom next to the front door was too hot to sleep, especially if doing laundry as the dryer vent blows right back into the hallway. It is a 5 minute drive to get to the city center, it is walkable but takes a good 25 minute walk. Also it is next to the hospital so ambulance and helicopter noise is frequent and loud.

Reception very helpful with bookings for day trips. The pool and surroundings very clean and enjoyable for swimming. Nice view of the esplanade walkway from our apartment at the second floor level. Quiet area of the city but easy to walk to Muddies cafe along the waterfront. Excellent Thai restaurant over the road. Peaceful at night. Simple process to bus to main shopping centre, every 15 minutes.

In need of a safe and comfortable place to stay after the horrible experince at Carins South International, we came across this accommodation and were delighted with the results. The room was clean and spacious enough to accommodate five people comfortably, making it perfect for our short two-day visit. We only booked at 7pm our first night, but Donna was incredibly helpful and quick to address all of our concerns in our phone call. Thank you Waterfront for hositng us.

We loved how incredibly helpful the staff were at the Waterfront Terraces. They went above and beyond our expectations to help us book the best snorkelling tour and offer other suggestions as to where to shop and dine. Genuinely friendly atmosphere that made us feel really welcome!

The suites are getting a bit tired but we noticed that they were doing some renovations while we were there.

The location was amazing overlooking the beach from our balcony. Our apartment (number20) was freshly renovated and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay with ducted air conditioning and ceiling fans, dishwasher, washing machine and drier in the dedicated laundry. It has a lovely big pool that we all enjoyed swimming in. The pool area also has barbecue facilities. Shopping and fast food outlets nearby. Anthony and Donna went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Anthony even posted mail to me at my home address when it arrived at Waterfront Terraces a few hours after we had flown out. Thanks we will be back.

The self-catering apartments are clean and comfortable, allowing maximum flexibility for meals, including a shared barbecue. Pool was clean, gardens and general surrounds tidy. Quiet location with the promenade just across the road for a short stroll to bars and restaurants. And of course the staff were welcoming and friendly :-)

Nothing springs to mind.

The apartment had everything we needed including a washing machine and washing powder. It was comfortable and clean. Anthony in reception was fantastic - very knowledgeable and supportive.

Nothing. It was a bit further away from the centre of Cairns (30 minute walk) than we thought but with Uber readily available, it was never a problem.

Loved the location as it was close to the walking trail along the shoreline, and not right in the middle of Cairns (but within walking distance). The apartment itself was clean and had a lovely balcony looking out to the sea. It was only 3 levels high and relatively small compared to a lot of other apartments and hotels there, so easy to access our apartment! A nice swimming pool. Great staff. We would stay there again for sure!

Just the wifi, couldn't connect, but we didn't worry about it as we were too busy doing stuff!

A comfortable, clean apartment to base yourself for a trip to Cairns and the local area. Quiet end of The Esplanade. Easy access to the paths and bike tracks into town. The apartment had plenty of space. There is air conditioning, but the ceiling fans did the job for us. Nice private balcony which we used a lot. Appliances are old but good quality , and all worked really well. Linen and towels were replaced after a week (we stayed 12 nights).

Some more sharp kitchen knives would have been useful. Probably not a good choice for less mobile people, especially if you don't have a car. It's two kms to town, which is fine if it isn't too hot. We hired ebikes and used those to get around. Access to paths is easy from the apartments. There are plenty of bike racks around Cairns so security wasn't an issue.
