The apartment was large, comfortable, very well designed, and super clean. The fans and air conditioning worked well in the heat. The balcony was well designed for the sun and was very private. The staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. The local buses to the city pass by the door and the stop is just outside. There is a lift to the upper floors. Toweks are changed daily, and the bins emptied.

The pool is lovely but it needs a rail on the step. The step is too high to be able to get out safely without a rail for elderly or infirm guests. There is only one option for meals within close walking distance. The apartments are directly under the flight path for the airport which made it noisy to sit on the balcony. Once inside with the door closed, the noise wasn’t noticeable.

Ample parking. 10 parks for vechiles of any height, and then a heap of parks around the back but have to be under 2.4m Good sized apartment, view to ocean from balcony, quick walk to waterfront, comfy bed, all the amenities you need. Loved that there was a washing machine/dryer.

Woken every morning at 6am from aeroplanes as airport is very close. Multiple flights happened between 6-7am. Property is on the main road so lots of road noise in pool area. I was in an apartment on the opposite side and could barely hear the busy road unless on balcony. Unsure what it would be like for those road facing apartment.

Very helpful and friendly staff who were happy to store luggage for us when we headed up to Cape Tribulation. Extremely roomy and comfortable 3 bed apartment with everything we needed. Spotlessly clean and plenty of room to spread ourselves and relax. We particularly wanted a 2 bedroom apartment, which isn't always easy to find for a reasonable price, and this one was perfect.

We were happy with everything. There was a small issue that Warren immediately took care of and organised a repair.

We had a great stay at Tropic Towers Apartments. Our apartment was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, close to everything including shops and eateries and not far from the Esplanade. The apartment had fans and AC and the kids loved the pool. All up really good and would recommend.

The front bedroom was a little noisy with traffic from the street but not too bad. The WiFi broke after the first day but the staff arranged a 4g modem so we could access the net through that. Beds weren't very comfy as the mattresses were super hard.

We booked in here for a week stay. Weren't expecting too much, as we had previous bad experiences with hotels in Cairns, which we found to be hit or miss. We arrived early to find reception doors locked, in the middle of the day. Later told that doors are always locked for security. Upon admittance we were placed on the fourth floor, western side. Luckily the place has an elevator. No lugging suitcases up and down stairs! Got to our room and opened the door. WOW. A proper suite, with ocean views even! Kitchenette with microwave, big fridge and dishwasher (tablets supplied). Hotplate and oven. Separate living room with balcony access, separate bedroom with a big bed and access to the balcony. Bathroom with a tub and washer and dryer (free to use, but BYO washing powder). The whole suite was clean and tidy. Serviced daily. Air-con worked a treat and had ceiling fans. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, good local knowledge. Cleaning and maintenance staff likewise very friendly, always smiling. Pool was a good size, clean and well maintained with plentiful furniture to use and a free electric BBQ in the securely gated pool area. The location is a bit far from the CBD and the closest eating establishment is Dunwoodys Hotel. We were told the area can be a bit confronting, but while we witnessed some unruly and anti-social behaviour, no-one ever troubled us personally, even when walking at night. We definitely recommend this hotel, as long as you are prepared to walk or have your own transport. We will be back.

Great apartment with everything you needed. Staff were extremely helpful and rooms serviced daily with fresh towels and full clean part way through stay as we were there for 9 nights. Had an apartment at back away from road noise. Was apparently fully booked whole time we were there but rarely saw many other guests around and nice and quiet. Close to airport so in flight path but not an issue as flights did not go overnight that we noticed. Actually plane watching was quite entertaining from the balcony.

Only issue was bed a little firm.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tropic Towers and would stay there again. We booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 4 nights. The apartment layout was great with the lounge area and bedroom both opening onto the balcony which had distant views to the ocean and of the tropical gardens and reserve behind the apartments. The apartment was spacious, very clean and plenty of room in bathroom and great to have washing machine and dryer included too. The full size kitchen was good and although no dining table in the apartment, the bench area was large enough to use as a table and had 2 stools. Helen on reception was friendly and gave suggestions for places to dine at and visit. There were plenty of tourist information brochures and maps etc in the foyer. The pool was lovely to cool off in and there's a separate shower and toilet in the pool area if needed. Parking was never a problem as there are enough spaces for each apartment. We hired a car so the north Cairns location, maybe 2km from Central Cairns suited us. Also, being on the main road, Sheridan Street, it was easy to locate our accommodation each time. Our apartment was at the rear of the building and was quiet. I'd recommend Tropic Towers for couples or families looking for clean, great value accommodation.

The apartment was a great size, very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were very helpful and responded very quickly to any requests.

There was an open cavity between the main bedroom and the living room. There used to be a concertina style slider that would block off the opening however there was not one in this apartment as we were told it was no longer working. I would think it best to just close off this opening so that there is privacy between the bedroom and the living room and so that if someone wants to go to bed and someone wants to stay up there are 2 separate spaces.

Good location and comfortable pillows and bed shower is excellent, my daughter and i will stay again if ever we will go back to cairns. Just make aura its been sprayed prior to guest arrival cause i have to get rid of one cockroach, luckily im not afraid nor allergic of it, would be different scenario if it was my son whose travelling with mw cause he is severely allergic to it.

Location was a little bit out of town but we had a rental car, so not an issue. Main bedroom a good size with a fan so ideal. Other bedroom had two single beds and not cramped. Both bedrooms had built in wardrobes. Well equipped kitchen.

The unit itself was spot on. Maybe some information on location of supermarkets, and information on special events in the district would be handy. The wifi struggled at times when lots of people were trying to do things online.
