The Hospitality was Exceptional. Tina & her Husband were very accommodating. Our room did not have a toaster or a microwave but we were able to borrow one for the time we stayed and were also able to use the laundry which was very convenient as we need to wash clothes daily for our stay. The rooms were very clean and tidy and well presented. It is also directly across the road from the beach. I would recommend staying here anytime.

The staff are exceptional. Tina was away but Helen did an excellent job. The omelette breakfast is what I come back for everytime, and the evening meals are great too (food seperate cost). Was Also nice they took the time to say hi to my wife and daughter who were already on the Facetime when they delivered the food to the room, such nice people. My preferred Mackay accommodation every time =) Thanks again!

Tina does such a great job at this motel that its my number one choice for Mackay. The meals are excellent (bacon wrapped chicken for dinner, ham cheese omelette for breakfast were my choices and they were delicious). Tina also called me on my mobile when she couldn't reach me on the room #8 telephone (the room #8 telephone isn't working) as she knew I wanted to order dinner that evening. Bathroom was spotless. Just make sure when you turn water tap off they need to go off slowly otherwise can cause knocking noise.

I was very impressed by my stay at Econo Lodge. The manager Tina is amazing, very courteous and helpful, it was wonderful meeting such a genuine host. The breakfast omelette was divine! (do you deliver to Brisbane? lol). The evening room service meal was top notch as well, I had no reason to venture to other nearby locations as the food was excellent. The location is also quieter than my previous favourite location on Nebo Road. The shuttle pickup from the airport was extremely useful as I was trying to avoid taxi's since at the time the Mining Expo could potentially be very busy. The wifi was very straightforward and reliable, was useful for a couple of meetings (and most importantly being able to videocall my wife and daughter while away). Thanks Tina for such an excellent place to stay.

Location was lovely for a family - park and beach across the road Rooms modern, new and clean

TV - small and quality of picture terrible I hate cushions in hotels, because it can be assumed they aren't washed after every visit. I would rather an extra pillow than decorative cushions.

Staff and meals and shuttle and wifi and hot water and rooms great!

Some of the plumbing or pipes makes noises after toilet cistern refills when the neighbours flush. But really happy with my time there and this visit is proof that I would stay again as this is the second time I’ve been here in 2 months. Is now my preferred Mackay accommodation!

The location was quite away from the city, the park and beach was just across the road great for my granddaughter. We were very content staying there. The staff were lovely

Good quiet location. Large rooms that were very clean with all the basic amenities needed. Perfect overnight stay. Loved the back area accessed via sliding door on every room where you could sit and hear the ocean

The staff where very friendly and help us out with any questions we had and went over the top to make our stay great.

On arrival the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. She gave me a good map showing where the 24hr supermarket, major shopping centre, etc were. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. It is directly opposite the beach so I had a nice walk in the morning before leaving. It is a very quiet in this area of Mackay.
