Very clean and comfy room, all things necessary in the room were working and clean. Room service was quick and efficient and the garlic bread was very tasty! Having had a delayed flight and not getting in until late it was fantastic that they offered a 24/7 room service menu.

The TV unit did look a little unstable and at one point when I pressed the side of the unit accidentally as I walked past I did have to reposition the piece and push it back to where it belonged, not a huge deal, but may be worth checking to see if it needs replacing - I didn't mention to staff at the time as when I got up in the morning I was in a rush and had completely forgotten thanks to the comfy bed!

Loved every part about this hotel booking, the room was fantastic, the location was terrific for us, it was priced very well, the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, the staff could not have been more helpful, the check in and check out process was seamless, the free parking was fantastic, the room service dinner was wonderful after a overseas flight and a long drive, can not fault this hotel or the staff.

Absolutely nothing, was the closest to perfection booking we've ever had, can not recommend highly enough.

Oh my gosh, from the moment I walked in I felt so welcome, this trip was an emergency one for surgery and every member of the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The standout was John on the front desk (I hope I have the name correct) I will definitely be back in a different capacity next time :)

The location is literally across from the airport (closer than the airport car park). Despite this, it was very quiet with no noise from planes leaving/arriving. The room was small but new/renovated with most amenities required - bed/ high and low pillows/ extra blanket/ ironing board/ closet/ standard pot and coffee/tea. Bathroom was small but clean with towels/ shampoo/ body wash. Parking is not covered but free and secure behind boom gates (open with hotel card key).

Most of the room was very clean, but certain areas such as the inner bedside table must have been missed (had a thin layer of dust). No soap or other disposable amenities like toothbrush/slippers etc (but also not requested so unknown if available).

Reception Staff were wonderful. Good tidy room. Clean restaurant. Great stay really just small improvements needed.

Breakfast and coffee could be better. Bacon was cold and coffee was terrible. More pastries needed. And the bar staff at night really didn't want to help nor cater to a sweet tooth. Shower needed descale clean. Seat cushion has a iron burn. No TV in room and didn't operate.

Quiet rooms (despite being adjacent to the airport), comfortable beds, convenient location (for me) - probably still the most cost effective stay in Mackay. The rooms are "economical" with their sizing - these aren't rooms you lounge around in - although there are communal spaces elsewhere in the hotel.

The pool is currently out of action - which wasn't an issue for me, but others might want to know that. Only concern was a customer facing staff member who was clearly suffering from a cold - without a mask and coughing - not a great look with COVID still lingering.

Staff were extremely obliging, friendly and efficient. Room was small but clean, quiet and comfortable with everything you need. Breakfast was DELICIOUS. Whilst not in town, location was convenient being just a few steps from airport terminal, hire cars etc and it is not a long drive into town. As we had a function on the south side of Mackay, it was perfect for us.

Not much not to like. It is not in town centre but that was no bother for us.

Location as a pit stop as I wasn’t able to get a direct flight home. It was very comfortable after my recent surgery.

Not able to get a late checkout. Fruit flies in the restaurant and female bathroom in restaurant area. I did wish the restaurant could of been more flexible when I asked for something a bit lighter than the menu offerings as I was still recovering from my surgery and want something simple and light.

1.Eggs Benny was delicious and a good size and presentation. 2. Reception staff are always lovely. We've stayed here a few times. 3. Rooms are very well presented, I like that and the cleanliness.

1. There was no flat pillow as promised on the sign in the room so my head was uncomfortable. 2. Added to this, the bed mattress is too soft for my back, so I woke with a very sore back and didn't sleep very well. My partner thought the same thing last time we stayed here. 3. I'm a light sleeper & couldn't turn the air con down to a quiet mode, so I had to turn it off. 4. No milk provided, which is something thats always provided in motels. So for me I couldn't drink the coffee I crave in the morning as I have it white. 5. Hot chocolate downstairs was average in taste. Could hardly taste the chocolate

Staff at reception was super helpful with all my enquiries. Assisted with last minute repairs to my luggage. Assisted with posting items that I was unable to post earlier. Extremely helpful older lady.

I needed a small sewing kit for a repair. Not really a complaint but it might be a consideration to have smaller kits that can be provided from reception if needed. Also nail manicure kits, shaving kit, bainaids, postage stamps or satchels that could be purchased through reception as required would be really useful as the airport in Mackay has limited supplies.
