We liked the location as we had a function to attend nearby. The position of the rooms were good. The bathrooms were a good size as were the rooms themselves. The rooms were very clean & comfortable.

Some in our group thought the mattresses may need to be replaced but ours was fine. I wanted our group to pay for their accommodation individually when we got there (after I booked through booking.com) but the receptionist said that it’s all been charged to my card so the group can just fix me up. I’ve never had that happen before as they’ve just held my card incase not charged it straight up. Not a biggy but just annoying for me to chase up money from the group.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. We travelled with our baby and needed to check in early to be able to attend a wedding on time. It was fully booked that weekend and the staff still managed to let us check in before 2pm. Really appreciated. While my Mother-in-law was helping babysit in the motel, she ordered a room-serviced dinner and she said the food was divine. The family room is spacious and valuable for its price and location. It provides a baby cot (with no sofe matress though) and a high chair.

The bathroom doornob is very hard to open. We all had a bit panic attack trying to open that door. The baby cot does not come with a soft matress, just a base platform, but we were lucky because we brought our own in case.

Lovely sized 2 bedroomed apartment, more spacious than expected. Polished floors in main living area, clean and new looking carpet in bedrooms. Easy parking. Easy to find. Very quiet. Bed was made really well, the sheets were fantastic, superbly pressed, white and clean. Staff at reception very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended as a place to stay.

Overall the unit was very clean, just two areas needed attention, the bathroom extractor fan was very dusty (I told reception when I left and it was immediately noted down for attention) and the back of the toilet could have been dusted and cleaner. Neither of these problems would put me off staying here again.

Check-in was easy and the little contact we had with staff was pleasant. The room was a good size and very clean. The king bed was very comfortable. The hotel location is pretty good, being only a few minutes drive to Picnic Point or the CBD. There are some nice cafes nearby and a shopping centre / supermarket a few hundred meters down the street.

The only thing I would note as a possible negative is that the location of the hotel is at the top of the main highway and there is a lot of traffic noise from the large trucks going up/down the mountain. The sliding doors do block most of the noise, but if you're sensitive to noise it may be a concern. Some of the rooms have different orientation, so noise might be less. This did not spoil our trip in any way - just a note to other travelers.

Very pleasant motel, easy to find, good parking on site. The staff were friendly and helpful. the room was nicely furnished, clean, and just what we needed while on a road trip. We are at the restaurant on site. The menu is unadventurous but the food was very good and reasonably priced. I had salmon with veggies and it was delicious. there was plenty of space in the room. It was very quiet - no road noise st all, and the bed was super comfy.

the only minor issue was having to go up a few steps to the room. this was no problem for us but be wary if you have mobility issues.

Eastgate was amazing their service, cleaniness and rooms where perfect. The only down fall we had was the communication from booking.com didnt go through so we didnt have our request of rooms close to each other but that was booking.coms let down and nothing to do with the motel

That the request of having rooms together never got sent or communicated to the motel as we had family members with us that need some assistance and we were in separate areas of the motel even tho we specifically asked to be together when booking through booking.com apparently this note was never communicated or left in a drop note from booking.com to the motel

This was a comfortable clean and well equipped motel. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with heaps of hangers and hooks for towels and clothes, I especially like it had somewhere to hang the bath mat. The bathroom was very spacious and had a long bench with the sink, a toothbrush holder. And lots of power points. There were power points beside the bed as well very convenient and not always supplied. There were beside tables with plenty of room in them. There was also a big TV, large wardrobe with hangers and drawers inside, little desk, bar fridge toaster and jug. The room also had small table with two chairs and a two seat lounge. I found it quiet and there were black out curtains. Everything was very clean.

Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms which have recently been renovated. Nice trees and gardens. Supermarket located 500m down the road, convenience store and take away places within 200m. CBD cafes, pubs and restaurants are 30 min walk, or 5 min drive. Nice, easy 30 min walk to Picnic Point lookout.

Traffic noise is an issue 24 hours a day, but not a problem if you shut the door and turn on aircon.

Staff were amazing with being able to accommodate my needs with late check ins and book a room with short notice. Customer service was second to none! I loved everything from cleanliness to decor and the location. Since a family funeral recently whereby i let family stay at my home and I booked accommodation Eastgate is now my escape place. I care for a family member and need a break from time to time... the spa is a perfect wind down! My home away from home. So relaxing. Thank you
