We really enjoyed our stay - very clean rooms & staff were efficient & helpful. Though an older building it was larger than a usual motel room & had a table & chairs. Lots of extras - crockery, microwave, toaster, even wine glasses were provided. The bed & pillows were very comfortable & despite being on a main road, our room was quiet. The complimentary continental breakfast was simple but good. There is an excellent Chinese restaurant next door & shops a short walk away, so although a long walk from city centre everything you’d want is nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were roomy & well cleaned. Clean carpet. Comfortable bed & pillows with plenty of warm linen. Soothing warm shower. Our room (2) had a microwave also. Only negative - no drawers in wardrobe. Otherwise, excellent accommodation. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a variety of cereals, milk, canned fruit & fresh juice. A selection of handmade jams were offered with toast & "curly" butter - very cute! Sultana bread was also available. Tea & Coffee. The Breakfast room was warm & very clean. Everything was Self serve & items were quickly topped if when needed. Very friendly hosts & cleaning Staff. Truly good value for money. Chairs & table available outside rooms with beautiful pot plants to welcome you as you enter the door to your room. Just nice touches throughout - loved the teapot collection in the Breakfast Room. We will stay here on our next visit to Toowoomba.

The location on Ruthven St is very handy for travellers, and it’s only 2k walk to the main Queens Park if you like a bit of exercise. I chose this motel for its price which includes breakfast. This was the point of difference as there are quite a few motels close together. Breakfast consisted of a range of cereals, some awesome homemade Bircher muesli, juice, tea, coffee, toast and a range of the manager’s-home made jams ( so good, that we bought two jars!). The room was spotless, the bathroom was extremely clean and there was a small nook with toaster, kettle and microwave. This is a non smoking motel so if that’s your thing, you must do so away from the premises. It’s a short walk out the driveway to the left to a very good Chinese Restaurant which was packed on the Sunday night we were there. Walk out the drive and about 100m to the right is a small set of shops with bottle shop and Spa supermarket.

The room was basic, it had everything you needed and there was nothing to dislike.

It had quiet time and parking is allocated to each room right in front of it. Breakfast was a bonus, heaps of pillows and extra blankets, room service every morning, very spacious bathroom and it had everything we needed in our room.

We were looking forward to using the swimming pool especially for my son after his rugby game, he had to go to the other boys hotel to have a swim every day after the game. We were told the pool closes during winter but nothing mention on the website, also couldn’t use the bbq area so we had to eat out everyday. Tv kept loading at times saying no network.

Right on Ruthven St, exceptionally clean and well managed. The breakfast is included and is all you need to start your day. The home made jam and Bircher muesli are delicious. There are convenience stores just up the street and a very busy Chinese Restaurant just steps away. Be warned though, the restaurant is so popular so it’s best to book if you are planning on dining there. We winged it both times but will book in future.

There’s nothing to dislike . It’s a value for money motel and is always booked out every time I visit.

Many places to stay in Toowoomba but if you're looking for value for money this place has it. Very clean, very convenient. Bed was so comfortable. A great Chinese restaurant just around the corner - great food! The inclusive breaky in the price was the winner for our stay. And home-made jams and spreads as well. Great service.

As the motel is on the main street, there's obviously some road noise. However, being located just outside the main CBD, it's quite bearable. Needed to air the room a bit upon arrival due to strong bleach odour.

Great value for money from a motel that clearly takes pride in the service it offers. Room was clean, of a good size and had thoughtful touches like spare blankets kept dust free by being stored in clear plastic. The breakfast was perfectly sufficient and not crowded. The staff were warm and friendly and we would stay here again and recommend to others.

Dust in air-conditioner, although filter itself was clean. Suggest vacuuming or wet dusting it. We had a room at the very front and there was some road noise, although didn't stop us sleeping.

Everything met my expectations. Breakfast was light enough to fill the gap just enough to be satisfying without being overfilling. The home made jams were a very nice touch that are a winner on their own. This was my second stay and will be my go to for any future accomodation needs in Toowoomba.

I rarely give 10's so that there is always room for an exceptional performance in any/every area of evaluation. Nothing was a glaring stand out negative, so all is good with the world.

The breakfast was good, it had just enough verity and the home made jams were delicious, the times for breakfast was good as well. Only thing the breakfast did not have was water. But over all breakfast was good. My room was great very spacious. And I love the spare pillow and blanket.

I had to lift the microwave down if I wanted to use it, could be a hazard for an elderly or disadvantaged person.

I've stayed here before, and it was worth coming back for my most recent trip. Our room rate included breakfast -- juice, toast, cereal, fruit and coffee and tea, with a variety of home-made jams each morning. It was a great way to start the day. And the bathroom was exceptionally clean. A new Air Conditioner was whisper-quiet all night when needed.

The TV was the biggest letdown. It took over 30 seconds to go from 'off' to 'viewing something'. And the remote was not at all intuitive. Sometimes it seemed to show one kind of TV guide, and other times it decided to show a Freeview TV guide, while at other times I seemed to get yet another TV channel list. Freeview totally omitted all the channels from one broadcaster (I think it was the channel 9 channels). Trying to navigate internet streaming channels (Netflix or Tubi etc) was problematic too, and I think the TV crashed at one point as it became totally unresponsive to button-presses. It's a small thing, but I hate when technology makes the human do all the work.
