Kitchen and apartment facilities were great. Clear simple instructions from reception staff allowed for a pleasant couple of days. The motel folder outlined all required information in detail which was extremely helpful. This would be more practical if left on the bench or desk rather than being hidden in a drawer.

Due to the hot afternoon sun shining directly into the room, there was a need to close the blinds to assist in the cooling of the room, therefore not allowing any direct sunlight. Perfect for the cooler months No swimming pool available, nor facilities to complete your own washing at your own convenience.

The location was great for our purposes.

I thought the room was small. If we were to stay again we would book a bigger room. There was no parking available in the under cover car park but in an outdoor overflow carpark because we booked through Booking.com. It was really annoying that we were not able to cancel our booking even though I tried an hour after making the booking. It was a peak weekend so they would not have had trouble re booking.

little touches - like finding timtams in the fridge, lots of towels, all the amenities available, and a large choice of glasses and crockery etc. This would definitely be our choice of where to stay next time - walked to Queens park botanical gardens to see the flowers, 10 min comfortable walk to The Spotted Cow for drinks and dinner, Fitzys Restaurant right next door (shame it was closed for the Queens public holiday). Lovely view of the old Sandstone Courthouse and PO.

aircon - filter needs a clean and remote needs new batteries and we found bedroom window locked so no fresh air -which we would have preferred instead of aircon, toilet seat should be soft closing. These things are all very minor details compared to the overall ambience and cleanliness and comfort of our one bedroom apartment.

Staff were very polite and helpful. The location was great: we could walk to most places of interest and nothing was more than a short drive away.

The air conditioning was a bit all or nothing: too warm without it and too cool with it on, despite adjusting the temperature.

Loved the staff at reception. They couldn’t have been more helpful with everything we asked for.

You had to pay for parking on the first night and on the second night we had to park in the street as the car park was full. I certainly was not aware when I made the booking that I would have to pay extra for parking.

The location is so central. The car park is very accessible and convenient. Overall, the apartment is clean and tidy. The view was great facing Queen's Park. The balcony is a bonus to feel the breeze.

When it rained, the rainwater went inside the windowpane. As glass window has no canopy, the sound of the heavy rain was a bit of a sleep disturbance when the rains poured direct onto the glass.

The apartment was quiet and had a good view. The beds were comfortable. Under building car park was safe and convenient.

It was lucky we had a washer and dryer in the apartment because no one came to change our towels in 4 days.

Room is clean and new

The studio room has internecting door to other room that is little cons and downside for me and bit uncomfortable for us, reception says all rooms in studio has all interconnecting doors and we have no choice.

Spacious, comfortable, great view of park, easy access to Margaret street eateries, paid onsite parking, luggage trolleys made it easy access from car to lift to room. It had a homely feel.

Beautiful and clean, great location…. But the biggest asset was the lady at the front desk!! She went above and beyond when ever she could to make sure our stay was 👌

I made the booking through booking.com and I was extremely unhappy with the app - I will definitely deal with the hotel direct next time
