Breakfast was included in the rate & it was a menu full of great choices. The staff on duty at breakfast were outstanding. The staff at reception were extremely helpful. The room was a great size & very comfortable. Great convenient location in North Adelaide, close to many restaurants & not far from the city centre. The reserved parking was a welcome option as it is a very congested suburb with regard to parking.
Only minor thing, was the air conditioner was a floor mounted one, so cooling the entire room took a while. Mind you we were visiting in a week of high 30 degree weather, so it likely did quite well in the circumstances.

The location on O'Connell Street North Adelaide was excellent and gave us a huge selection of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. The Twin room was a little small but clean and acceptable for that price. The single beds in our twin room were rather narrow and King singles would have been more comfortable because I struggled to keep my arms from extending outside the confines of the bed because of the bed's narrowness and didn't have a good night's sleep. Breakfast was part of our accommodation deal and as well as the continental selection I was also given a wide choice of cooked food options to choose from. I chose pancakes and fruit with maple syrup which I rarely have and found it to be a great choice. The lovely lady who was taking the dining orders was very funny and made the experience very enjoyable.
My main gripe as stated previously was the narrowness of our single beds in our twin room which made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep. I also found it strange that the swimming pool area was locked, apart from during morning breakfast time, although admittedly the temperatures outside were not particularly warm during our one-night stay.

Basically everything from the time of booking in, to the breakfast bar. All the staff were exceptional and dutifully worked to make my stay stress-free. Very friendly and when they had what little time spared, they made you feel like you were a part of their family. I highly recommend it and will stay at the Adelaide Inn anytime I need a hotel Good one guys, keep it up Peter I.
No lift, but the lovely foyer staircase and that handsome chandelier made up for it. To be honest it's only 1 storey so you don't really need one, plus you can always get a room on the ground floor if you can't or don't want to carry your luggage upstairs. Also what would be handy is a trolley for suitcases on the ground floor, for guests who carry a lot of luggage. ( just an idea )😁

The location was good, and the room and bed were comfortable and well appointed. The dining room and breakfast were of high standard as was the service given by the staff in the dining room.
I wasn't told until after I had completed my booking that a car park had to be booked in advance. And then, when I tried to book a car park I was told none were available for the Saturday night, so I paid $10 for a car park for the Sunday night only, knowing I would not arrive back at the motel until sometime after 9pm. As a woman on my own I preferred an on-site car park for safety reasons. When I arrived back at the motel Sunday evening there were no available car parks at all, allocated as reserved or otherwise; a distinctive yellow car was in the car park that had been allotted to me and paid for by me. I took several photos and received a refund, but I was not happy about either the inconvenience or risk.

very close to restaurants and shops.
The things that we didn’t like was the restaurant was only open for breakfast so we had to venture out every night for dinner. the breakfast was very basic for what we paid for, no hot breakfast to be done only toastiest and ham and egg muffin, no bacon at all. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, we had to ask for the window to be opened as we couldn’t open it so we could get some fresh air at night. Place was old and outdated.

Everything..Clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We went for a wedding and reunion, from around Australia. Although there was no bar, they allowed us an area to bring a drink and gather, for which we were extremely gratefull. The lady at breakfast (sorry, forgot her name) also went above and beyond to accommodate special dietary needs for my wife.. From Bree at reception, to the pool cleaner....Thank you for a wonderful stay...😊
Could do with a bit more ventilation in the bathroom. But hey...if that's the only "complaint," you're doing alright 👍

The location is great for getting anywhere in the Adelaide region & with so many near by food options in both O'Connell & Melbourne St, Parklands, Adelaide Oval & the city pool close by. Our room was spacious, comfortable & dark for sleeping, & the shower hot. Breakfast, included, was excellent & choice adequate for our needs. We especially loved the waffles & pancakes. Too cold to try out the pool this trip. All staff we encountered where lovely, helpful & polite. Car parking is limited & we did need to pay for a reserved park on the weekend, to be assured of a spot. We visit Adelaide regularly & for a moderate priced hotel, we found it the best of the 3 we have stayed at, & we would definitely stay again at "The Inn".
We did get a bit of noise from other guests, but that happens anywhere.

Our room was quiet & very, very clean. Bed very comfortable, Shower always hot, air con exceptionally quiet. Great location for our family visits. Many good eateries in walking distance. We always enjoy our visits at The Adelaide Inn.
My only suggestion would be to provide some stewed fruit with continental breakfast .

This spacious room had everything...all theamenities, heat/ac control, hairdryer, all bathroom supplies, comfortable bed, individually controlled reading lights, ample closet space, and more. Service in the dining room was professional and prompt, and the help from the Front Desk personnel was stellar.
Nothing at all. I suggested perhaps a hand towel in the room would be a nice but not essential addition.

Great location. Close to transport. Cheap parking. Surrounded by great restaurants.
Noise travelled easily. Noisy guests congregating in foyer disrupted all other residents. Also the edge of the spa could do with a rubber edge. It’s impossible to see the entry step as you enter if the spa is on. The front entry is a challenge - steep steps. Recommend using the side entry when it’s open.
