Pullman Adelaide

The staff are what makes this hotel so amazing. All the staff no matter what job they do they were so helpful and nice. From Cristoph at the front doors to the cleaners and restaurant/bar staff. Nothing was ever too much or an inconvenience. The rooms are spacious, clean, modern and the beds are comfortable. The pool, gym and steam room was great and kept my daughter busy for hours. The buffet breakfast was the best I've had and had so many options even for kids.

Having to say goodbye and go back to reality because the pullman was so wonderful.

The 2 double beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The view was terrible (carpark and dirty rubbish strewn on the street) ignore that and it's a great place that's value for money. We stayed 11 nights and breakfast buffet was included which was very good. Only had a couple of issues... the hallway really needed to be vacuumed more often. Was disappointing that it was not cleaned up promptly after notifying reception (almost a day later!) Concierge Christophe was wonderful and engaging. Swimming pool was great for the kids. Facilities were pretty good. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Floors could've been vacuumed better. Not getting 4 towels when there are four people and having to run to the gymnasium to pick up towels ourselves.

I liked how every staff (receptionist, housekeeping, concierge) are so approachable, and helpful. They catered to my preference (i.e changing floors (since i didnt want to be at too high floor), taking care of luggage after check-out, quick house-keeping service even at midnight). More than that, they knew how to help or handle situations immediately. The king room was very spacious, very clean. No complains at all. It was situated at very strategic place, i was thinking it was going to be noisy, but surprisingly no, maybe because i was at 11th floor. I slept well too.

Good location

From the time we arrived we felt welcome. The check in experience was easy and our bags were in the room by the time we could complete checkin. Very quick. The staff were friendly and helped us with directions to the parking area. The rooms were clean and made up every day. Room service was quick and this was even during the holiday period. Quite and location wise couldn't be better. Restaurants, cafes and shops are all within walking distance.

The view was atrocious. We could only see a multi-level parking from our windows. We had to have the blinds closed the whole time so much so that we wanted to get out of the room more than anything. Wouldn't have been a problem for a night or two but after a couple of nights it was beyond bearable. The gym is also relatively small but workable.

Reception and concierge staff were lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Buffet breakfast was good (included in our room rate- probably a bit pricey otherwise). Free in house movies on demand was great for our family. Being walking distance to the tram was good. The hotel is a stone’s throw from Rundle Mall (shopping) and Rundle Street (eating) Pool & gym were good but crowded during the 5-6pm rush.

Air conditioning wasn’t great - be ware if it’s hot during your stay. Rooms were really nice but snug for a family of four. Coffee was bad, but plenty of places very close by for your morning caffeine.

If you want to stay in a hotel, that actually feels like a hotel, I highly recommend this one. Room Service, Foxtel on the TV, Valet Parking, Bar and Restaurant, every day room cleaning, you name it! Rundle mall is so close and so close to the tram. This place was fantastic! I will be going back again.

The parking was very expensive, could definitely be less and they need to get an app for ordering room service as I found it very difficult to understand the other person on the phone and visa versa as some of what I ordered was not correct.

It waas very convenient for what we needed to do and see.

A bit disappointed as having to pay $6 for a bottle of water if I wanted one - most of the other Hotels we have stayed in the City supply this gratis!! Suffice to say, we didn't have one! Furthermore, when we came to pay, a $50 Surcharge had been added to our account, possibly for parking - we deliberately came by bus to save having to drive & park! Thankfully this was removed. The receptionist then said perhaps the $50 was for a room upgrade - NOT SO - we had the room that we had booked via Booking.com. This was removed, but was not what I was expecting!

We were very impressed with our visit from start to finish. The staff were welcoming, professional and very helpful. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet (both from noise outside the hotel and between rooms). Breakfast was included in our stay and the buffet was fresh and had a good range of food on offer. Great city location close to the mall andRundle street eateries. We will definitely be back again.

Location excellent and very central. Room & bedding very comfortable, with spacious bathroom facilities. Facilities of pool, spa and restaurant was top quality, would definitely stay again.

Had a serious incident on the last night of our stay in the restaurant with our Type 1 diabetic daughter. After explaining her condition to the waiter, we ordered a Coke Zero for her. He then proceeded to order a full sugar Coke and served this to her instead. We only realised when her blood glucose shot up dangerously high, and tested the remaining Coke with a glucose strip which confirmed it wasn't sugar free. We alerted the waiter of the issue, who apologised for his mistake, but so very lucky we realised before it became an emergency.
