Clean and comfortable room.

No power points in easy to access places. Only a double in the kitchenette and one in the bathroom. None near beds or small table. These days with more electronic devices recharging facilities are essential. We now have phones, cameras, and laptops but the lack of power points makes this awkward. One thing the owners really can't have control over was the proliferation of smokers outside their rooms. There seemed to be far more here than at any other motel I've stayed at. They were there every time I went outside to go out and meant window could not be open for fresh air.

We were greeted with friendly staff on all occasions, including the cleaning staff. Although it is an old motel, we were very happy with the very good standard that the motel has been kept in. Being located on a busy thoroughfare, the traffic noise did not bother us too much. We shall indeed stay at this motel again when the opportunity arises. Our deepest thanks to the manager for the help provided during our stay.

The weather was not the best, very hot the day we arrived, and then it was very gusty the last 3 days of our stay. The water pressure was a little low, but didn't hinder our shower time that much, and the small step up from the bedroom carpet to the tiled kitchen floor needed to be noted.

Great location and usually clean retro vibe

It wasn’t at its usual standard. The three chairs in the room were all stained so we weren’t able to sit on them. The microwave had rust or some sort of markings, a cupboard door was off and lay on top of the cupboard. I know it’s a cheaper place to stay but these are things that have not happened when staying there in the past. To be honest it has put me off staying there again

I could tell as soon as I walked into the room it was well cleaned and fresh. Excellent layout of room with good size counter top for coffee making, Hand luggage rack, extendable table for dining, and convenient for personal laptop computer work. everything seemed to be thought of

the property is old and much as I was very happy to stay there I imagine some people would not be so keen if their preference is new and modern.

For budget accomodation Wintersun was beyond my expectations. The room was dated as to be expected for the price but was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the amenities were great.

The shower head was a bit low for my height but that seems to be overly picky on my part when everything else matched or exceeded my expectations.

So convenient...central location...close to shops, restaurants, & all sightseeing & other villages. Good size room , clean, & good size comfortable bed. Low cost Washing & drying facilities we used also.

We are used to a little warmer & less windy climate. But we could not order that. Overall we still enjoyed our stay fully.

That there was 2 people in room below .but they had 2 cars 🚗1 EACH so took my park .so we had to park further away my partner had prothesis leg 🦵. ..

For an old style motel, it felt like the place was cared for very well. Everything was clean and well maintained (a homely clean, not just at a commercial/surface level). The room was very spacious. Good location, close to the CBD.

WiFi though secure was slow and not always available. The room was a bit dark (lack of natural light) - that's due to the old style building design.

Check in and out was painless, they were patient even though we arrived just before check in closed (we did call to warn them beforehand). Room was in great condition and, presented very well especially seeing the building was built some time ago, the bathrooms were immaculately cleaned. Bed was comfier than most hotel rooms I've been in.

Only one drawback - we did get some noisy neighbours, so some more sound protection would have been nice.

The room and bathroom were very clean. The room was comfortable and it had everything a person could need. The bed was ok and many pillows and blankets were provided.

The room had a weird smell that was annoying at the beginning when entering to the room.
