Kids playground downstairs, club/bistro downstairs, amenities down the road, competitively priced. Clean room, convenient and complimentary coffee/bottled water to go/bistro welcome beer. Aircon is old but works. Door lock is old but again works. Comfy bed. Helpful staff.

Stairs and no lift (not ideal for heavy luggage). Bathroom is tiny (not designed for mobility impaired). Was difficult locating check-in/reception but staff were helpful. Hallway is extremely echo-ey, so I felt it carries a lot of noise whenever the door (separating the hotel from the function rooms) is open. To be fair, function room/club/bistro hours were followed during our stay and diners were quite respectful and didn't carry the noise outside the venue.

The premises and rooms were fine

It appeared that Booking.com had stuffed up my reservation - some kind of online system fault - and the hotel staff were slow and unconcerned about sorting out the issue. This was frustrating for me , as I was very tired and staff wouldn't let me access the room, kept me waiting for 40 minutes

WE ARE INVOLVED IN THE THOROUGHBRED RACING INDUSTRY IN TASMANIA, AND THE LOCATION OF THE CARLYLE IS IN THE PREFECT PLACE TO GET TO AND FROM THE RACETRACK. ONLY 10 MINUTES AWAY AND VERY LITTLE TRAFFIC TO WORRY ABOUT. WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOU NEXT STAY.

QUESTION IS TOO HARD TO ANSWER AS THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL THAT WE DONT LIKE.

the apartment was spacious and clean, a little cold, but it was heated with air conditioners. it wouldn't have been bad to turn them on before knowing we were coming.

The place was too noisy, close to the road, and too crowded. no atmosphere.

Great Location for going to our entertainment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere in the Sports Bar for dinner. Very comfortable bed. Easy convenient parking. Clean fresh kitchen with biscuits and plenty of milk for coffee Would definitely stay at the Carlyle next time I am in Hobart.

Location was great, Room was comfy and the staff were brilliant

The bathroom door wouldn't open easily, kept having to kick the bottom of the door and hope it would open No lift, but i was aware of this when i booked I struggled to climb up the stairs so i stayed up unless i had to go out. We didnt have a table to put our laptops on had to sit on a chair over the bed.

The dinner was excellent value. Location to DEC was excellent. Lovely soft towels. Comfy bed Would definitely use again, excellent value for money

The WiFi password on the room info card didn't work Had no WiFi Too much light in the room, especially the light at the bottom of the TV. Had to hang a towel over TV to block it

I loved the warmth, the space, the bed and the friendly service. I like the complementary coffee in the morning. Nice shower also!

Not having my car parked close to my accommodation. I found the stairs a bit hard with luggage but I had help with my family.

The room was basic but clean and serviced every day, couldn’t fault it for value for money
