Fabbi greeted us warmly and professionally and was very obliging. He explained the facilities to us and then asked if there was anything else we needed. He gave us his number and said to call him after hours if we needed anything. The room was spacious and well appointed. We stayed 2 nights and the bath linen was changed after the first night. The cleaner offered to change the sheets if we wished, we declined but it was nice to be offered this service. The TV was big, the shower was big. It was a very pleasant experience.

There was nothing else that we required. There was nothing we didn't like.

How friendly and helpful the staff are, especially when on arrival I was told my room was up stairs which I hadn't even considered a problem until then as I was fresh out of hospital from Gallbladder surgery and the lovely gentleman who was taking care of me changed me to a bottom floor room so I didn't have to stress about trying to get up and down stairs , the rooms themselves were awesome and my room even had a spa bath! Everything very modern and clean too, little kitchenette was helpful and the smart TV was amazing!!

Can't think of anything!! Maybe the shower head could use an upgrade to a removable one with a bit more pressure but that's about it

Everything! The location was great, only 300 m from Sovereign Hill. Parking was right outside; the room and bathroom were spacious and with a lot of bathroom products. You didn't need to bring anything. Huge Bath towels were a great bonus. Room heated quickly, and electric blankets were a great additional bonus. But best of all was the excellent care we received from the owner. He first rang us after we made the booking to confirm our requirements. We received a couple of emails afterwards to confirm our details. We came a little earlier than the usual check-in time, however the room was ready for us. I would highly recommend this accommodation if you considered staying in Ballarat or visiting Sovereign Hill.

Immaculately clean and good size room. Comfortable bed and decent size wardrobe with plenty of hangers (which is rare!)...basic toiletries but good quality large towels. The shower is a bit outdated but has good water pressure. Basic kitchen fit out with microwave and small table and chairs as well as a couch. We had an upstairs spa room...the spa looked pretty old but was scrupulously clean. I'm not sure if the man at Reception was the owner or manager, but he was very welcoming and helpful with a number of local recommendations. There are plenty of pub and restaurant options within easy walking distance, and Sovereign Hill is only a short walk away too. There is a 24 hour cafe/convenience place next door, our room was on opposite side of the complex so I couldn't say if that would create noise. All in all, it was a fab weekend escape... didn't even go into the City of Ballarat this trip as everything was near where the hotel was.

The location was great as we were able to walk up to the hotel at the end of the road for a meal after a long day of travelling. The room was modern, very spacious and clean. The bathroom was a great size, great shower and the kitchenette was great for our needs. Toaster, kettle, plates, cups and cutlery provided were great for making ourselves some toast and tea the next morning. The room was lovely and warm too...considering it was freezing outside. The fellow who met us at Reception was really welcoming, friendly and provided us with info on the hotel and how far it was, etc.

1. The gentleman at the front desk was very accommodative friendly and helping minded. That was the first thing. Everything else was second. 2. Room was spacious and clean. 3. Bed was comfortable. 4. Waterflow was good. 5. Amenities were good. 6. Sufficient parking.

Everything was good about it. We have no complaint. We only have appreciation. Perhaps the key card cover can be changed for every guest. It's a little worn out.

Easy to find, able to have the car right outside my door, the room was spacious, modern, clean, not cluttered, it was quiet, beds super comfortable, bathroom spacious & modern, great to have a fridge to pop our water bottles in overnight, the fact there was a Tavern on the same street, made somewhere close to go for dinner - perfect!

Would have loved a security screen on front door to leave front door open for air flow.

The manager was very accommodating, when he saw I was handicapped he put us into a handicapped room with 2 bathrooms, second had walk in shower. He left his office and helped me with luggage. Very nice man. Room was very clean with plenty of soap, towels, etc. We asked if we could stay a second day and he made the appropriate arrangements so we could. Motel was directly across street from Sovereign Hill so touring was easy. Parking was directly outside the room.

Super clean..easy to book..easy check in and out. Spacious and quiet. Loved that the curtains were blackouts and the room was dark to sleep. Enjoyed our stay. Would absolutely stay again.

There was nothing I didn't like..but I would have appreciated a small coffee table, possibly at either end of sofa...hard to settle on couch with a coffee and nowhere to put it. I also would have liked a shelf or rack to put stuff in the shower...

I loved the size of the room! The spa bath was absolutely amazing. Very quiet but amazing location. Close to everything! Petrol station next door for convenience if you need. The room was very clean! Andrew, the general manager, is very lovely and helpful. I forgot to take photos of the room unfortunately.

This is not the management or property’s fault but I would like to advise others about bubble bath in the spa bath. Don’t put too much in, especially if turning on the jets. Bubbles went everywhere oops. Took a while to clean up! And I would have loved some form of cleaning product/equipment to disinfect the spa bath further. I wiped it down with provided dish cloth and dish soap to make do out of the situation and did use Glen 20. :)
