Good location- directly across the street from Deborah gold mine and the start of the talking tram. Approx 15-20km walk from centre of town ( or a $15 taxi ride). Free parking at the hotel. Lovely pool and heated indoor spa. Room very spacious with large bed and sofa. Very comfortable bed- almost as good as our bed at home. Spa bath just about big enough for 2. Lovely hot shower with good pressure. Room and pool area both very clean and well looked after. Pub/ restaurant has a good varied menu with many GF options and good food.

Nothing really. Would be good to allocate a parking space to each room though wasn’t really an issue.

Everything, the National Hotel bed was very comfortable and the room had everything you needed. Excellent WIFI as well. I had a balcony overlooking the pool which I enjoyed as it also had a large tree out the front. Room 11, I guess some may think its noisy but only if kids are playing in the pool but overall I found it quiet. Staff are very professional and happy to help. The Hotel Resturant had great food so we ate there. The location was fantastic as it was walking distance to the Tram Talking Tours and tye DEBORAH Gold mine tours which is really worth exploring. Also the Mini Golf was a short drive away at The Zone Fun Park which was really well laid out and had great coffee. The city centre is also walking distance. I would stay here again.

We were attending a family event at the hotel and decided to stay at the motel to save a long drive home. That was a great decision as the room was a good size, well furnished and very comfortable. As well, the restaurant food was very good and you could even get room service. We'll certainly stay there again.

The only minor issue in our two night stay was the lack of room cleaning. It would have been nice to have had the bed made and the rubbish bins emptied.

Good value for money super impressive for the price. Clean spacious and well thought out for travellers passing through the area. It has its own restaurant on the property which was very convenient. Generous parking available. Good tv and bathroom. Close to town but not in it so one can see how pretty the town is heading out to do the days activities.

Didn't seem like there was much to do at the hotel itself if the weather was bad and it was an extended stay with children. Was not clear if the hotel provided towels or not on online various websites. (They do provide towels). The light for pool area was on pretty late and the curtains didn't completely block it out. Hard to turn around a large car in certain sections of the carpark.

Good location, just opposite Deborah Mines and a tram stop. Has a bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster which is handy. They even gave us a small tetra packed milk when we checked in, for coffee in the morning! Does have electric blanket on the queen bed, which we unfortunately only discovered morning we were leaving.

Could be better soundproofing. There was a family living in the room under us, and every morning we got woken up early by the children yelling. Also they seemed very entertained by the balcony, because every time the sliding doors opened or shut, it was such a loud rumble I thought it was a plane at first. Also we could hear next door's bathroom exhaust fan going the whooole night

The apartment was effectively a town house. Great space for the family. We left something behind and the staff called to find out what we wanted to do with it. The bistro was excellent. We dined there both nights we stayed. The meals were a generous size and delicious.

A little picky but we have an SUV with a roof box that didn’t fit in the private garage. There was off street parking available and the private garage was a double so there was plenty of space.

Lovely spacious room. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. Very cold night in Bendigo, heater worked perfectly to keep us toasty warm. Room including fridge & microwave very clean. Safe on-site parking.

Hot water service did not seem that great and may need updating. The shower in the evening was ok in warmth but in the morning and I understand/hope the reason for the luke warm to almost cold showers was the freezing temps in Bendigo overnight and every room trying to have a hot shower all at the same time.

WOW what treasure of a place. Having the pub attached certainly made meals a breeze. All staff were so friendly and nothing was a issue. Rooms were clean and fresh ; AC was fantastic and quiet, the bed was a bit lumpy but hey in the scheme of things that life. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

that i had to go home!!! - Bed may need a update and i am not a fan of flat sheets as base sheets . yes small things but nothing tops a weekend away than a comfy bed. the entrance is a bit hard to see amongst the trees but just look for the pub on the corner !!!

We stayed just the one night in May 2023. It's located right on the main road but doesn't suffer from any noise issues, as it's set back from the road a bit. There's a pub next door and a supermarket just down the road within walking distance. If you want to take in the rest of Bendigo's charms you'll need to drive back into town, not far, but too far to walk. The staff were great, checking us in early and providing maps and information about the city. We had a large and comfortable room, recommended.

Great location, friendly staff, nice sized room.

Noisy at times as there were lots of kids staying during school holidays. The carpark only has 1 exit so if you're trying to get out, youve got to do a 3 point turn. The bathroom fan was so noisy and made the shower feel cold as the location wasn't ideal. Would be nice to have a heat light in addition to the fan, especially for the cooler months. Also would've been lovely to have a sink to wash the dishes. Harder pillows as an option too.
