It's clean. Walking distance from the city. Staff are friendly and welcoming. But no insulation wall and the neighbour is so loud at 2:00 am we could hear and awakened.

Somebody entered our room while we're inside thinking nobody's home because we didn't lock the door. We usually don't lock the door specially my daughter was coming back from shopping so we don't need to be waken up when she come home. This was mid morning when it happened. They should have a list at the reception if the room is vacant or occupied. Aside from that instance we have no complaint.

Perfect location for Bendigo sightseeing. It is located near Gold Mine and the city centre. Rooms are enough big for a family of three or four. Room facilities were clean and enough. Enough parking area for the guests. Friendly staff.

The pillows were a bit bulky. I suggest that they have two sets of pillows (one soft and one bulky) for each bed that brings flexibility for the guests. Allocating a parking space for each room would be also great if possible.

Great very clean and comfy room. We were able to check in early as we were very tired, so we really appreciated this. We also asked for room at the rear which they were able to accommodate. Excellent range of amenities with microwave, kitchen sink and many implements. Very good shower and bathroom. Overall great value stay in the middle of Bendigo.

Nothing much to complain about, very nice people and comfy room. A little bit of traffic noise but not bad.

So lovely to hear the Cathedral bells, but no window to see it from room ☹️ We were offered another room that did have windows by lovely maintenance staff, but we preferred the layout of our room. One of the best. Spacious, excellent bathroom with so much bench space, and a fantastic extra sink outside the bathroom.

Not having a window to see the Cathedral and too far to walk for Mum and I to city centre. (We have health problems) For a fit person it is a 10 -15 min walk to city centre.

Great location - we walked everywhere and there are loads of places to eat and drink nearby. I chose this place because there was a microwave in the room and I thought I would need to heat a wheat bag up for my cold feet, given it was the middle of winter. However, the room heater was very effective and I needed neither the wheat bag nor the electric blanket to keep warm at night. Large and comfortable room, walk-in shower, on-site parking - all good.

There was nothing to dislike.

Staff were extremely helpful in swapping room to lower level to accommodate mobility issues that had developed since first booking the accommodation. The room was very clean and comfortable.

The floor of the shower was quite slippery and there were no rails in the shower for safety for someone with impaired mobility and balance. The path outside the lower level rooms is not very wide to accommodate a walker.

These guys are really discreet and very professional in their approach. Room was beautifully cleaned everyday. Location is perfect & there is a lovely little Cafe around the corner serving primo coffee. My 9 year old son ventured around there every morning to get coffee & Hot chocolates for the family. We stay for 9 days with 5 people. We had cooked breakfast on our first morning, such good value indeed. Its easy, clean and a very professionally run business. Well done Cathedral Motel, we will definitely be back. 👍👍👍😊😊😊

Everything was excellent

Everything was very clean. The shower worked well. The wifi was constant. The bed was very comfortable with several pillows & blankets in a cupboard. The room faced a main highway into town. Traffic was audible but hearing the trams was pleasant. There was a microwave for simple cooking and ample crockery. The room had a full length mirror & very good lighting in the bathroom. There was plenty of storage space. The room had a comfortable couch, table (a bit wonky) & chairs. The laundry if needed is free. The motel location is near the beautiful cathedral, within walking distance of the Central Deborah Gold Mine & terminus for the city trams. Junk food outlets are nearby, but better would be the famous Beechworth Bakery! You could also walk to various interesting restaurants in the city centre or the shops if you fancied walking instead of driving. On weekends there is a free multistorey carpark in the city centre.

The main room needed a central ceiling light although there were side lights, reading lights, & an entryway light.

Clean and ready for use. Staff were friendly. Room was spacious. Good range of channels on the tv. easy to find and park at and good lcoation.

Room was a bit loud - street noise and out of the room (but not through walls). The spa was RIGHT next to the bed - that was odd and a bit uncomfortable. Would have appreciated a broader selection of toiletries but that's me being picky.

Recently renovated rooms were amazing, it made such a difference. For $150 a night I was expecting 2 pillows but found 4 pillows instead which was nice. Everyone who worked there was lovely, really friendly cleaning staff.

No real issues but there weren’t any forks in the rooms and the first lot of towels I had looked like they were stained with makeup or something but they were washed so it wasn’t an issue and the stains weren’t really big.
