The room was exceptionally clean... the shower, although having a slightly older style of tile, was spotless, as was the entire bathroom. Very impressive housekeeping! Towels were soft and dried very well. Toiletries were excellent Petite Spa Green Tea scented, I loved them. Rooms are serviced daily (be aware of that) and can have towels replaced daily if you prefer. Bed was very comfortable, room was furnished neatly and simply, creating a calm and comfortable environment. Blinds keep the room well-darkened. Netflix was free on my TV. Electronic Door Code and no need to check-in or out, just enter 4 digit code plus #. Mini-bar was well stocked but of no interest to me. Parking is on a first-in basis, but a lot of spaces, undercover, and overflow can park on the very quiet street behind. Located in a quieter part of town. This is a very popular Motel. The Lake View Hotel is two doors away and their food is excellent... great opening hours... highly recommended!

This is in no way a complaint, just an observation: No plate or knife & fork... that would have been useful, but great that they have a toaster, kettle, etc. Puddles of water at bottom of rear stairs from the water heaters, step carefully, but that is a small, unavoidable thing.

Cleaned facilities along with amenities and utilities like you would have at home. Both laundry machines function as it should. Great location for travel around Bendigo CBD.

TV remote was very touchy and sometimes worked and sometimes didn’t with the buttons as it wasn’t the original remote. Also recommend a bigger size TV due to not seeing it well due to distance from the couch. Wifi doesn’t really have a strong signal at all but two bars unfortunately. I was hoping to watch some movies using the T.V apps but didn’t work due to wifi. Maybe have it closer or an wifi extender on the property itself. Lights were dim for some parts of the house such as the living room and along the kitchen to the hallway with uneven lighting. Would be great if there was more consistency with lighting for the townhouse.

Room was clean and modern. Good location. Great parking undercover. We were upstairs and the balcony, across the front of the rooms , had marine carpet. It was fabulous because you couldn’t hear anyone walking past your room. Soundproofing was also good, couldn’t hear others in their rooms. Non contact check in was easy, we were just instructions.

Nothing not to like. Just a suggestion- a mirror in the room would be good. There was only the bathroom one above the sink.

Alexandra Place was well situated - a 5 -10 minwalk to the centre of the city. Similarly the tourist tram was about a 5 min walk away which took us to The Joss House and the Deborah Gold mine. The Golden Dragon Museum was only a short walk. The room was large and comfortable, and nicely decorated. Even though it was chilly outside the room stayed a good temperature. The bed was large with a comfy mattress and pillows and plenty of bedding. Also a lounge so we didn't have to sit on the bed the whole time. It was reasonably quiet until people started leaving on the morning. The shower had was very high - great for tall visitors - and good flow. The room contained a mini fridge, kettle, iron and ironing board and a hair dryer + a well stocked mini bar. Good WiFi a well The Hotel/ club 2 doors up served us up an excellent meal. We were really happy with our decision to stay here. Comfortable, clean and convenient.

We were happy with everything. If you were after some facilities to cook for yourself this is not the place to stay.

The check in was amazing, we got notification via SMS on how. The team was easily contactable (via SMS), responsive and helpful. I love that we can order breakfast ahead of time, but we didn't get the chance as there were great cafes just around the corner to try out.

Would love to have the windows open for fresh air as the room gets a bit warm when the windows are all closed but this isn't a negative to the place. It is just how it is. When we did open the window for air, we lost privacy and could smell cigarettes but again, not their fault. We were on the ground floor.

I had a stay of several days here for a music event and found it great. Although it’s an older motel-style property it was very comfortable, clean and in a great location, I was able to walk everywhere including the Ulumbarra Theatre. There were plenty of places to eat nearby, and there was a restaurant adjacent serving decent pub fare. My bed was comfortable and the electric blanket was welcome during a cold snap. Bathroom amenities were simple but nice and the tea and coffee-making facilities were kept replenished. Everyone including cleaning staff was friendly and helpful and the contactless transactions including touch-pad entry to the rooms was appreciated.

Mostly very quiet although you could hear a bit from adjacent rooms at times, in my case not particularly concerning.

The door entry code did not work a few times. Had to ring and wait for the door code to be reset. Some days the housekeeping was not complete. Example: rubbish bin not emptied, towels not replaced. One day the housekeeping was not done at all. Bath Floor mat was hanging ontop of the towels.

it was a very cold night in Bendigo and room was easy to warm up and keep warm. Also electric blanket and extra blankets were put to good use. The free mini bar biscuits to go with my cuppa were an unexpected delight. Bathroom was modern with good towels and toiletries provided. Location was great for my needs as I was attending Umberra Theatre at night. Also literally around the corner from the Talking Tram and cafe

I stayed at Alexandra Place for eleven nights while attending a music festival in Bendigo. I was extremely happy with it. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bed linen was changed every two or three days. All the staff were considerate and friendly. The breakfasts were very good. It really was like a home away from home. And it was conveniently close to the CBD and to the theatre where I was attending performances.

Very clean and great value for a 2 bedroom motel accomodation. Room facilities included 2 televisions, wifi, plenty of towels and pillows, toaster, microwave, kettle, tea and ‘decent’ Mocona coffee! I stayed overnight with my elderly mum while we visited a relative at Bendigo Health. Only 10 minute walk to the hospital and close to the city centre. Dinner at the Lakeview hotel next door to the motel was lovely. Friendly and helpful motel manager😊
