We arrived early from a long flight and were permitted an early check in with no additional cost. The room was larger than expected with a nice kitchen and we loved having a washer/dryer in unit. The gym, facilities and rooftop pool are fantastic! Enjoyed staying outside the CBD with a quick ride to tennis. Big thanks to the staff particularly Cecilia!

We understand construction is necessary for progress but the noise made it difficult to sleep in the morning.We were located facing the park. This is nothing against the hotel or staff. The room could have been a bit cleaner as we had to wipe down the surfaces. Overall a great stay and we would stay again.

Staff were truly fantastic and hospitable, A trait that seems to be a rare occurrence of late. Rooms were modern and well equipped. Infinity pool on the roof was fantastic,on the few hot days we had we enjoyed this after work and the spa when it wasnt so warm, with views of the CBD and great dividing range it was very pleasant.

Construction across the street was a little annoying, but out of the hotels control, the double glazed windows block out the noise completely. We did struggle with the heating/cooling. The controller in the master bed worked to the temperature set, but the controller in the lounge room would be on the extreme side of freezing or heat.

A lovely spacious , well equipped apartment with a fabulous view for our 4 night stay in Melbourne visiting family.. Easy ,friendly and efficient checkin and check out .. all staff were friendly and helpful..parking available ( +a cost).. BoxHill RSL next door was an enjoyable venue for meals and only a few steps away .. The Nelson Cafe also next door was very convenient and had great coffee ..there’s also a beautiful park within walking distance with a running track and other features..we enjoyed the apartment and surrounds immensely being new visitors to Melbourne

This is the second time in six months I have stayed at Avani Box Hil. We travelled from regional Victoria. My husband was having surgery at Epworth Eastern, so this was the perfect location for me to stay while he was in hospital.

No ventilation in the bedroom apart from opening the window which had no fly screen. Let in bugs and noise from the building works over near the hospital. As it was a wet and humid weekend it made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Could not access the BBQ terrace without assistance/boking. I just wanted to sit out there are read. I did not want to sit near the pool, it was noisy with kids and very wet.

The staff were very helpful and attentive. The rooms were large and the kitchen well equipped for breakfast prep and afternoon teas. The pool and spa were to die for! The view, the sun beds - Exactly what my friend and I needed for a relaxing girls-weekend

The room we stayed in, a two bedroom apartment, was roomy and well appointed, however one of the rooms contained the switchboard and what I assume was an internet router in the wardrobe; both make much electrical humming and gave off constant light, making the room very bright and noisy all night. Luckily I had earplugs and an eye mask, otherwise I would not have been able to stand it

Once we were checked in it was easy to access secure parking. There are 3 operating lifts that are quick, so not waiting long for one. Nice view from the 11th floor and a comfortable well equiped unit. Good well priced meals at the club next door.

Check in is a little difficult as you need to park in the street to check in and get access to the underground carpark from the street behind the reception, but knowing that I would phone ahead so maybe access the carpark first using the intercom. The lounge wasn't great for 2 people to sit on, but adequate. I managed to fall asleep on it several times without trying.

Facilities were very good. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. Generally found it a pleasant and comfortable place to stay and would stay again. Ideally located to Epworth Eastern and Box Hill hospital. Only 5 minute walk.

There was no restaurant for use which was a bit inconvenient as I was alone a lot of the time due to husband in hospital and didn't like to be wandering around during the night looking for something to eat. The bathrooms were very dingy, needed better lighting.

The staff were amazingly flexible when I needed to change plans. Nothing was too hard for them and they always had a smile on their faces. Being so close to hospitals they clearly are trying to cater for the many challenges faced with needing to extend or shorten stays and in my case, they were brilliant in this regard and I couldnt thank them enough. The apartment was just lovely with comfy beds and equipped with everything you need. I couldn't believe the value for money...so peasantly surprising. The train station was close and only a short ride to the city and there was a shopping centre close by so everything was covered amenity wise. The heated infinity pool and spa was a welcome relief and the view was just amazing. I will definitely stay there again if needed.

Impeccable facility and staff. The staff treated you more like family than a guest. When visiting another country it can be overwhelming but I was made to feel like I was home. I truly thank the staff for assisting me with a faux pas. Most of the time if a guest makes an error they are made to feel horrible. They assisted me through it instead. I thank Chris for always being encouraging. A huge plus is a coffee shop right next door.

That it was time to check out and I will miss the beautiful views
