The location is excellent, being in the heart of Bright. The room was very clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable. The staff in the Hotel /Motel were excellent. Bright would have to be one of the top places to visit with so much natural beauty. The local council has done a remarkable job in the riverside facilities, it is a child's dream come true with the various fun attractions such as the river bathing area and all of the fun things to do.

It took a while to get used to the night noise caused by the Hotel fans/ air conditioning. We were on the second floor of the Motel section and right in line for the noise during the night coming from the Hotel section. After the first night we slept better as we got used to the switching on or off of the fans. The TV in the room is far too small and hard to see the subtitles for the news programs. The wall can take a much larger TV screen.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. Great location very convenient. Rooms are clean. The pub downstair was super noisy because we stayed on Friday and Saturday nights but we've already expected that after reading previous reviews. Surprisingly, it did not bother us much, we all had good sleep. ps. The noise was from both people drinking and shouting and loud speaker music. So if you are sensitive to loud noises, may be pick other places to stay.

We travel by bus and the hotel do not have a locker room where we can leave our luggage. The staff was nice though, he suggested we put the luggage around a corner where not so many people walk pass.

The location is in the heart of Bright. Walking distance to everything. Cafes, bakeries, brewery, pubs, shops and the river. Did the Canyon walk. The room is very comfortable & you have all the amenities including tea/coffee with biscuits. The bed was only a double and was disappointed and that it was a little hard. Not much comfort, although it did have an electric blanket. Extra blankets were in the cupboard. There was an AC for heating. Renovated rooms.

Spic and span, kitchenette (fridge, kettle, cups and teaspoons), toiletries, blow dryer, clean towels each day. Beds made each day. Location was very good, restaurants close-by, woolies walking distance, petrol stations nearby. Pubs and pizza place open late. Bakeries and cafes across the street. Price was superb for location.

Tv was not working, unable to be attended to outside of business hours. Had to ring reception couple of times before getting an answer. Construction works in front, woke me up at 6 in the morning, also reduced parking due to this. Other than that, staff were helpful and nice, and everything else was good.

Hotel accommodation was fairly standard motel style but staff are incredibly friendly. Hotel is right in the middle of town and they have great dining options. I asked for ground floor as I had to catch an early 7.15am bus outside. I was given Room 1 which is ground as requested but also closest to the bus so less luggage carrying distance, plus I missed the alarm waking up very late at 7.10 but was able to see the bus arriving and run out. This was only possible as I had Room 1. Also heating was on for my late arrival. A paper with my name gave clear instructions re key drop for early departure. I was emailed my room number on the day as promised. I received an email very soon after my initial booking. Everything was very smooth indeed which was great.

Very convenient location right in the middle of the township by the clock tower. Everything was very accessible from the shops, restaurants, eateries and the walking/bike trails. I travelled by V/Line coach and the stop was right at the location of the motel and its adjoining pub/restaurant.

The room was decent but not spectacular, but the convenience of the location more than makes up for this. They have also put up a sign to advise travellers to expect noise especially on a Friday and Saturday as the motel also has the pub next to it and it's just expected that a pub will be especially busy during these 2 days. So as long as you can accept this, it's still recommended for the ideal location that it is in.

The excellent central location - we were able to walk everywhere.

No lift or ramp when carrying heavy luggage. No senior or management person to welcome us when we checked in about midday or even to smile and suggest we sit and wait! No senior or management person offered to get our heavy suitcases carried upstairs although we are in our seventies. Our coach left early on the last morning just after 6am and I had to carry each suitcase down myself (I am 79). I think guests need to be made aware that there is no lift or ramp access to the upper level.

This was our first visit to Bright and we couldn't have picked a better, more central, Motel/Hotel to stay in. Check in was very easy and the rooms were lovely and clean. The Motel/Hotel is in the middle of town and very close to all the attractions and restaurants/cafes the town has to offer. If you don't want to walk far for a meal or quite drink the Alpine Hotel is right on your doorstep and caters for adult travellers and families alike! We are already planning another trip back to Bright and will be definitely staying here!

Happy with our whole experience!

The central location enabled us to walk to many of Bright's places of interest. Recently renovated rooms were very pleasant. The upstairs Italian Restaurant at the pub was excellent. Beautifully fitted out and the quality of the food and the service was first class.

No complaints. Shower screen did allow some water to impinge on bathroom floor. A minor niggle.
