I work across the word in the shopping centre and me and my colleagues were going out for a Xmas party during the week. I decided to book a room so I didn't need to travel home and could make the morning that little easier after the night. The room was quite spacious, very clean, the bed was super comfy, the bathroom was great the shower is massive with good enough pressure. The restaurant was nice, went there for breakfast. Was reasonably priced and delicious! The guy who took my order was friendly and accommodating! I was able to check in early during my lunch break which made it easy.

I didn't like that I didn't see that a $250 bond was required and didn't state that during the booking process. I paid and booked with my card and it would have been better if that was used if there were issues. I now have to wait 5-10 business days to get it back before Xmas which is super inconvenient. My room was #323 ,close to the lifts, however you really can hear people coming and going, the doors are rather loud too.

The room was very clean and very spacious, the bed was comfortable although we do prefer a firmer mattress which no hotel/motel has. Was surprised to see there was a mini bar but the prices were very much overpriced. We had a lovely view although didn't get to enjoy it as it was just a one night stop over after a day/night wedding. I personally would've like of liked a streaming channel eg. Netflix. The bathroom was in mint condition and the walk-in shower very large. I really like that you could only reach the accommodation levels via keypass as there is a bar, restaurant and pokies on the ground level. Loved the free undercover parking!

The only thing I do have a complaint about was my hubby was unable to sleep as the heater was noisy when turning itself it on and it kept him awake... didn't bother me. He looked everywhere for a remote and was unable to find one, however in the morning as we were leaving he noticed the heating/cooling panel next to the door. The bathroom had two large narrowish frosted glass panels that were on the wall where the bed was... it looked really nice but hubby was concerned at using the light to have a shower while he couldn't sleep as I was sleeping on that side of the bed and facing that wall.

We paid extra for the renovated room on level 2, and it was massive. Huge and spacious.

I would have liked for the hotel to offer a room type with 2 double beds. I stayed with my husband, along with our 10yr old daughter, who had to stay on the fold out bed, which we had to pay an extra $40 per night for. I like to stay at hotels where children should be able to stay for free using existing bedding. This Mercure does not offer a room with two double beds.

* comfortable beds * beautiful bathrooms with beautiful big shower rose * total blockout for sleep * good noise insulation between rooms * friendly helpful staff * very clean * breakfast package * free parking * lake * proximity to shopping centre * flexibility and service in promptly moving us to the other side of hotel where it was quiet when the council without notice were doing all night bitumen works right out front of the hotel * pool and spa and gym great * live band on Saturday night

* my friend was not allowed to smoke on her balcony and I think this is utterly unreasonable being that it is more outdoors than the sheltered outdoor area off the bistro with the ashtrays and she had to keep going down there to have a cigarette - yes she should quit but why can't she smoke on the outdoor balcony that's walled off from adjacent balconies? * glad doors coming off car park and from lobbies into hallways where rooms are are not sliding doors but heavy swing doors which were hard to deal with with heavy or bulky luggage - not will thought out. * I hate the pokies downstairs

The Caroline Springs Mercure was a palace. The rooms were huge and extremely clean, and the beds were so comfortable. I liked that we could also eat downstairs in their restaurant and the food was first class. Every member of staff, from the front desk, housekeeping, and servers were extremely amicable. They engaged in conversation with you and made you smile. Everybody was so happy. We will be back to visit soon.

There was nothing to fault, everything was amazing.

Mecure was lovely, we had a funeral and they let us have an early arrival after some negotiation. The bed was very comfy would have liked a view of the lake instead of a building site but it was OK.its right across the road from a small shopping centre and the highlights were a very reasonably priced breakfast in the Cafe the next morning, free car parking, very clean and very quiet.

It was a little stressful when the first receptionist was arguing about whether I requested an early arrival to change clothes before the funeral, which I had an email to prove it. But she couldnt find it. Luckily an older receptionist came along to help out as we only had an hour to get to the funeral.

The rooms were really large and spacious and comfortable. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Honestly, the staff made the experience that much nicer, particularly the bistro staff and the front desk staff.

The only thing I didn’t like (and it was only a small thing) was that a glass of water I had left on the bedside table was left there after the room had been made up on one of the days. It wasn’t a bother, I just thought it was something that is usually included so if not please disregard!

Very clean and comfortable room. Good amenities around the hotel.

Staff on check in sat down and behind desk so couldn’t see them so not very accessible to ask questions. Staff not particularly friendly or helpful in offering support for local public transport options or any other information. Didn’t like the $5 fee for room service. Pokies are extremely distasteful at the front door

Room was clean, location was close to my work and theres a shopping complex opposite to it with lots of food choices.

There were no slippers in the room and when I called and asked for it I was told that they only provide them for Gold members which I find very odd.
