The location is easy to find as it’s situated up a hill, near the shops, and the air conditioner where I had the heater on, as it rained outside during the night. I would’ve liked to have had an electric blanket for the bed, but the air con was next best thing as it kept me warm during the night.

Just a screen door when using the shower as water goes everywhere near the toilet.

Highly recommend this hotel. We had a lovely pint with lunch before heading off to a wedding. The manager was very friendly and the service at lunch time was fantastic. We got the key early so we could drop our bags off before heading off. The room was very easily accessible with its own park. Comfortable queen size bed. Block out blinds. Recently renovated bathroom with loads of space. Tea/coffee making facilities and a microwave in room. Fantastic stay. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

this is a good place to base yourself. staff are extremely friendly. its a quiet place there was no hassle with anything (i got a free donut) we stayed there for a family event so didnt stay long. we think we will be back to explore more. we will stay here. give it a go i dont think you will be disappointed. food at the bar is worth the drive.

maybe the parking if you have a big car its only a small area. but this is trivial

My husband, Lou and I enjoyed our stay at Winchelsea Motel very much. The spacious room was well presented, clean and inviting with a comfortable bed and pillows. Dinner at the tavern was very delicious with generous portions. Compliments to the chef. Service was very good, special thanks to Tracey and Aaron. Winchelsea Motel is truly value for money. Was clean bed was comfortable too. Car could park at your doorstep. Lovely dinner and staff were polite and very helpful too.

The air-conditioning didn't have a heating option and nit enough blankets in the room. As the weather conditions change rapidly to be very cold in October.

spacious rooms, good WiFi, comfortable beds, nice and clean, location suited us as we went on the the Twelve Apostles.

Something on the Booking.com website gave me the impression that breakfast was included, but this was not the case.

This is quite a charming little country motel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. It is well located for travellers wanting to get out of Melbourne to make an early start on the Great Ocean Road

Nothing really, except that the carpet could have been kept cleaner by providing a more adequate door mat.

Good bathroom which seemed to have been renovated recently.

We ate on-site for our evening meal and service was very slow. With allowance for short staffing and a busy night, the service was still random ie we ordered and paid for drinks and did not receive them for 30 mins despite several reminders. Other people received theirs immediately or ordered after us but received them before us - we ordered 2 glasses of the same wine so not complicated! A shame as our stay was good otherwise.

We enjoyed the generous motel room with its high wooden ceiling and the superb bathroom. It was wonderful to be able to order delicious meals from the pub and have them delivered to our door. The staff are very friendly and helpful, providing us some useful local information.
