The apartment had spectacular views, was clean and perfect for an extended stay

The check in process was terrible, the building concierge was very little help because they had no connection to Cliix and quite frankly didn't seem to care. It wasn't until i rang Cliix that i found i had to walk a block away to an office down the back of an arcade between a superette and an italian restaurant that i finally found the right place. Unfortunately none of this information was provided before arriving at the property. Nothing on Booking.com told us of this. Having spent the day travelling it wasn't a great way to end the day at 8:00pm at night. 2 days later we ran into another group going through the same greif in the lobby but luckily we were able to help them out. Suggestion:- either get an office on site or make sure people are well advised of the process.

Location in Southbank was excellent and it was easy to find the office where keys were to be collected. The apartment was on the 40th floor and was spacious, well set out and really lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped to enable meals to be prepared if desired. There was plenty of storage space and the bed was very comfy, with a good selection of pillows. Great to have washing machine and full laundry facilities. Loved the view.

A few bright cushions on the couch and one or two more pieces of furniture in the apartment would have made it look a bit more homely. There was plenty of storage everywhere, but it tended to look a bit bare.

Central, nice apartment.

The check in and check out is at another location. When you get there, you find out that there is an additional parking charge of $60 per day. No mention of this on the booking information or advert. When phoning Clixx, the staff are not knowledgeable and can’t answer questions. We were told our apartment has 4 single beds then when we got there we were told there is no such option. When I phoned to do a check in the consultant did not listen to what I was saying and repeatedly tried to make a booking for me.

The sky high unit at level 66 we got is managed by CLLIX. It is very near to Flinders Station and Crown casino. Walk over to CBD via Flinders station is so easy and you can take free CITY tram within CBD. If any of the toiletries or coffee and tea is running low, just text them and their house keeper will be at your door. Very efficient. 👍

The heating coil of the electric kettle is badly stained and should be replaced with new one. Luckily we brought our own travel kettle. The pots are not really clean, oily and with dried stains at the internal of the pots. If you are using these utensils, better to wash and boiled once with water before use.

The view was sensational on the 40th floor. I came specifically for the tennis and was able to see the arena from my hotel room. a short 10 mins walk to the centre of town and then another tram ride or walk if so inclined. The only criticism is the confusion with the hotel name-just some advice keep it simple for travellers. I’m Australian so I can’t imagine what it’s like for foreigners to get confused with the name of the hotel. on Booking.com it’s called one thing but in reality it’s called another. anyways I could be being a little pedantic but just thought I would note this. Apart from that nothing to criticise at ALL! loved it!!!!!

Location is outside of the CBD however very close to Crown Complex and South Bank precinct. (Opposite Melbourne City BMW) and Eureka Towers Views from the room were excellent, and the unit was well appointed and completely self contained. Onsite parking available if pre-booked with reservation. Restaurants and IGA very close by. Building is very distinctive with its gold star band, and makes it easy to find when walking. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Floors were not very clean, Key pick up was from a separate building (Close but inconvenient when in a car) and drop off was challenging as the area is all no parking so requires someone to stay with the car while dropping off bags to avoid a tow. Onsite car park is available however a little expensive if on a budget @ $50 per night. This may still be the most convenient option if traveling in with a car, removing the issues related to bag drop off.
