Great staff - all really efficient, friendly and professional, great room service (very quick and good food), great location on south bank adjacent to crown metropol and crown towers, great dining and entertainment options in the overall crown complex, great view.

Swimming pool was packed with screaming kids all day and all night until it closed. We were there in school holidays so not a surprise but it would have been good to have a non-kid period for adults to enjoy a quieter experience (say after 8.00pm?). Also our room was not made up until about 4.30pm so they often came when we had come back from our day and were relaxing or getting ready for the evening which wasn’t always convenient.

The location, room size, shower size and general facilities are great. Food and transport all within small walk with plenty of variety. Casino was perfect as my wife is a poker player.

Arrived at 4pm with a check in time of 3pm. Room wasn’t ready yet for another 45mins on top of that. This is unacceptable. What’s the point of a check in time if they can’t meet it? It’s a basic standard of a hotel. This unfortunately extends to the daily service of the room as well- for two nights out of the stay we returned after 4pm and the rooms still weren’t serviced. After asking the concierge to pass on we would like a room serviced more promptly, was fine after that.

The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The food was good and we enjoyed the pool and facilities.

The beds weren't overly comfortable, particularly the mattresses. The valet ticket states guests receive a maximum of 24 hours valet parking per stay and must pay the full fee of $70 a night thereafter. This is misleading as the full fee is charged from the first night. The food and snacks are overpriced, especially when pouring my drink into a plastic glass for the pool and discarding the rest of the drink I had paid for because it didn't fit in the glass. Whilst the breakfast buffet at Mesh is nice it is overpriced particularly when paying for 4 people and 3 are 18 or under.

The staff members are lovely and more than willing to make your stay very comfortable. Valet parking is worth paying for as you don’t have to worry about where to park in that area of the city. I stay here quite regularly and The Promenade is definitely my number one go to.

Weekends and school holidays are busy with families so trying to relax in the pool and spa area is impossible. It’s a haven for parents who cannot parent their children correctly so be prepared to be kicked, jumped on, splashed repeatedly and have your personal space taken away. The hotel could really do with a second adults only area to relax as you do pay good money to stay there. Even make the spa end of the pool a no go area for under 16’s.

The convenience of being in the Crown complex made for a fabulous weekend

Checking when a conference group was being checked in. If I was advised of the conference group, my time spent in the queue could have been reduced

Was convenient and comfy as usual, however, this trip was made extra special by Matt from Concierge. After 5 days of shopping with my children I flew them home and checked into Crown for 2 nights with my partner. Matt watched me put the girls and my father in a car to the airport and breathe a well earned sigh of relief for the 3 days of RnR to follow. He had a giggle and a chat with me about the little fist pump I made when the car left (as every parent could appreciate after a 5 day 'shop til you drop' session with children) and then ordered a complimentary bottle of wine to our room. That was unexpected and so very thoughtful. Really made our experience memorable. Thanks again Matt

We loved the service at reception and the room was beautiful, the staff were welcoming , as we drove in we were met by the doorman , asked for parking , they were happy to tell us $50 per day . Helped with luggage and looked after the car. The lovely young man at reception had a bit of a laugh with us and was happy to give us the highest level for our room type ,which was studio. After telling him it's our anniversary he offered us the bubbly and chocolates. All the amenities in the room were great. They cleaned the room , replaced towels and glasses the morning after . All was very professional. They happily brought the luggage into the room After enjoying our bottle of bubbly we decided to go for a walk , when we returned the chocolates had been left and a tag was placed on the empty bottle say complimentary 😊 So thankful

Didn't like the drunk hitchhiker in the lift Access to the upper floors is given by your room key but if you are going to a floor that someone has already scanned and pressed the button then access for an intoxicated angry man who informed us that he had been kicked out for drinking too much is made easy. Made us very anxious as we walked to our room , I stopped and called my fiancee back so the drunk man wouldn't know his room was next to ours. Waited for him to enter and shut his door before we went in. Over the next hour or so we could hear him yelling and banging doors. I thought it best not to complain to staff as I didn't want any trouble from the man but thinking back now I should have.

The hotel was value for money. Clean great bathroom and beds very comfortable. Fantastic restaurants within the hotel. I feel the foyer was slightly trashed because it was a very busy weekend and people leaving rubbish on tables and sitting on the furniture for long periods of time. On checkout Monday morning very clean and professional.

The volume of people in the foyer on Sunday midday did appear to be disheveled from people leaving rubbish everywhere.

An amazing property with fantastic location - close to everything and easy to find your way around. Staff are friendly and helpful and we spent a lot of time in the pool which was incredible!!

The movie selection was a bit poor, we paid for 24 hours of movies but there were really only about 4 family/kids movies to choose from and they weren’t anything great so we only watched half of one unfortunatly so didn’t get our moneys worth. The MESH restaurant breakfast buffet is a bit pricey at $45 but still enjoyable and fun for the kids.

Breakfast and service were great. Disappointed that we couldn’t get into the pool due to the door malfunctioning but happy with the staff making arrangements for us to access the Metropol pool (even though walking through Crown in our towel and robes to access said pool and having to wait for staff at the Metropol to confirm this was frustrating, I’d have thought staff at the Promenade would have notified the front desk at the Metropol so we didn’t have to wait while they did this). Definitely appreciated the later check out due to this inconvenience. Over all very happy with our stay. ❤️
