The pool and sauna, the rooms were lovely. Staff were lovely and helpful at reception and dining.

The noise very early hours of the morning. People at the back of the building of the restaurants moving bins and putting loud bottles and trash in them. Not a great way to wake up. Also the back of the building we viewed was straight into a smoking verandah and the people on it could see straight into our room. Room service food was cold and very dry and undercooked. The carpet was damp under the bar fridge when we checked in.

Great check in experience, lovely hotel and rooms, very nice breakfast (just try to avoid going when it's busy!), great location. Would definitely stay again

Breakfast was very nice, but they can't accommodate everyone if it's busy. When we checked in, the robes in our room were dirty (had make up around the collars). Took a couple of attempts for us to request new ones (first attempt - they took the dirty robes the next day, didn't replace them. Contacted hotel staff a second time - new robes were immediately brought to the room). They require a $500 incidentals deposit - which seems extreme, especially compared to what was required at the three other hotels I'd stayed in in Australia prior to Le Meridien

The staff were proactive and friendly from the moment we checked in to every interaction we had with them. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The pool was the perfect temp and depth. The room we were in was a lot more spacious than I had expected and it was very quiet despite being across from the elevator. Easy access to the shopping centre as the tram stops right outside the hotel or a short 10 mins walk. Kids were rewarded with a nice gelato in the lobby after a walk back from the shopping malls. Breakfast had a good selection and while busy in the morning we didn’t have to wait more than 5 mins.

Loved the location and the feel of the hotel. It was clean and close to everything that we needed. The pack that we booked was great for the price since it included parking, late checkout, and breakfast . Staff were lovely, and having a cafe open until 10 pm was great since we had an early dinner, and I was able to order coffee and cake when I got peckish 😍😍😍

The room that we got did not have a good view. We had frosted windows, over were these massive aircon/ventilation units. Which was unfortunate because it was for our wedding anniversary. But on the bright side, they did compensate by giving us a bottle of red and a small box of chocolate 🍫 for our anniversary.

Everything is so stylish and sleek. Everything was perfect, including bed linen, towels and robes. We loved breakfast, the free gelato we received also! My 4yo loved the bathroom so much apparently that it’s going to be our design in our house one day haha!

Literally ONLY the beds, as in the mattress, was way too hard on my back as I have a terrible back but my hubby and mother also found it hard. And only a slightly dislike was having only one pillow each not two. And more tea/coffee for us to drink at night time when we’re turning in for the night. 🙏🏻

Breakfast being all included was amazing. The free drink on arrival was also so good! The staff were absolutely amazing, they helped us out when one of our friends fainted and it was clear they were very well trained. They continuously checked in on us and we felt very cared for and safe! This was helpful as we weee a group of four mates traveling from country SA. The amenities and facilities provided were absolutely magnificent including the razors, dental kits etc. We absolutely adored our stay and have all said we will only stay here from now on

Great location especially when in town to see a musical. Excellent bathroom and comfortable room. Big TV. Didn't use it but the pool area looked very nice as seen from our room. Restaurant in the hotel, Dollys, is highly recommended.

Bed was too hard - always hope for a bed that makes you wonder where they got it and how I can get one for home. This bed woke with a sore back and looked forward to getting home to our bed. Room is not very sound proof either, nor dark with the DND lights by the door bright even when not selected.

The layout of the room was welcoming and practical, with nice decorative touches and heaps of storage for clothes. The bathroom was excellent, with the best shower/bath combination I've seen in a long time. The reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Lots of tech available, including the ability to stream from a device to the TV. The location was sensational - there's nothing better in Melbourne's CBD than having a tram stop immediately outside the front door!

The pull-out 'fridge drawer' arrangement is understandable but limits the space for additional drinks or snacks.

Staff were exceptional and went above and beyond. We felt very welcomed and they gave some extra little things for my husband’s birthday, which was lovely. The pool and outdoor area was great and it was nice swimming at night with the city view. Room was clean and comfortable and we had in house breakfast which was delicious.

The only negative was that we paid extra for a city view room (Superior King Room with City View) and you couldn’t see much of the city because it had frosted windows over half of the window.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent night stay at the new Le Meridien Hotel. We found the staff friendly, very accommodating and enjoyed our room upgrade to a room inclusive of city views. We mentioned it was one guests bday on the booking notes and the birthday girl enjoyed her little gift waiting for her in the room. The room itself was well designed and clean. Fitness center was very well equipped and pool zone would be lots of fun in summer. The hotel breakfast the next morning also well appointed and staff a plenty to clear plates, cups, mugs etc.

The only down side of our stay was the beds. The beds in our rooms were firmer than firm mattresses. A score of zero on the plush meter! If we were staying more than one night I would have been requesting more pillows to line the bed with to sleep on them.
