Location was perfect and the price for being in central Melbourne was fantastic! Accomodation is basic but clean and has an easy check in process if you are arriving outside their desk hours. I got a room with my own bathroom which I prefer. The back alley next door with restaurants, mural grafitti and bars was fascinating. Earplugs definitely required but I don't travel without them so not a problem. Would stay here again next time I'm down under.

Be advised that it's all stairs to access both floors of the hotel. I was glad 😊 to be on the first floor.

The staff were very efficient and kept the place spotless. Dillion at the reception was extremely helpful and always forthcoming. He needs to be commended .

Only down side was, there was no lift and taking heavy suitcases, up and down the stairs was an issue. However ,during check in, Dillion was there to help us. But that wasn't the case during check out, since we left very early in the morning.

The studio room with private bathroom was brilliant. Over 3 doorless rooms it was totally spacious, with a functional kitchen, opening windows, a/c, a 3 seater bench lounge, a very comfortable bed (and bunk) and large tv. Also the bathroom is better than the photos with constant hot water and very luxurious fluffy white towels. Staff were also excellent and friendly. Best bargain in the city - can’t wait to return!

Exceeded my expectation due to low price. The room is clean, nice bedsheets, basic needs are there. We did not expect a fridge inside the room but there is one which is good. Share bathroom and toilets are clean and there is no queue. Ample of bathrooms and toilet to use. The kitchen is upstairs and you can cook breakfast if you wish (which we did) and eat out nearby during the day. Near the tram line. A value for money.

The receptionist was friendly. The building has a good history on it.

the hotel is very central, easy to get around, pick-up spots for tours close-by. the room is quiet, has a heater, and it's nice that they include an electric kettle and some tea bags (although only two, which was not enough for my stay).

the reception time is not convenient, had to call multiple times to get service, but the employee was friendly. kitchen was flooded at one point and there was one day when two bathrooms did not have any toilet paper. no room service so trash can was not emptied during the entire stay.

Rooms were nicely sized with very comfy beds and a large refrigerator. Staff were accommodating with us arriving well before check in to hold our luggage and let us check in a couple of hours early. The facilities were maintained amd always clean. Plenty of shops and cafes on your doorstep as well.

The kitchen could be a little bigger but it's an oldish building so can't complain too much

I have received a room just like I imagined, the staff was very polite. Their Check In and Check Out policies are clear and it was good to stay, this hotel is in front of the Sheraton. Hotel has a really good location is near to the tram, 7-Eleven and a parking place as well as a renting car center.

I think guests are the cleaning problem, bathrooms are shared and sometimes there were stuff all over the place. People use objects from other persons so the hotel should create a new strategy in regards to that. But in general the place is good.

Great location, nice to have a little kitchen accessible even if this is the mess maintained part of the hotel. Rooms are nice, bathroom ok and clean, mostly quite at night, of course these last 2 depend of the other host staying at the hotel. This is a nice place to stay at Melbourne for a good price

Kitchen could me better

Loved the location. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. There were multiple shower and toilet areas and they were mostly clean. Communication was great, thanks for accommodating!

Cleanliness can be improved. There were traces of hair on one of the beds. A few of the toilets were dirty upon arrival but that was understandable because it was late at night.

Location was FANTASTIC. Walking distance to most places in CBD and Australian Open. Bathrooms were relatively keen, as far as shared bathrooms in budget hotels go. Checked in and checked out by ourselves as we arrived late and departed early and staff were very helpful. Room was good with a TV too.

The bedsheets were a little itchy to sleep on. Not sure if it was the material. Wore long sleeves to cover my skin a bit more then it was fine.
