Friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant and bar, great location on south side of Melbourne, walkable to Albert Park and easy to take a tram into the city or the cool St Kilda. If you like walking, the city, botanical gardens, museums and St Kilda can be reached on foot if you plan long walks.

There was no breakfast other than some individual cereal packets and one-person milk cartons in the room mini-bar. The details for this hotel had shown that breakfast was available - but this was not the case. We were advised to go to the cafe up the road, which offered good breakfasts.

Easy check in Comfortable , clean, modern room. Minibar with snacks and drinks to purchase . Large screen tv connects to internet easily Central and easy access to Tran and city and other parts of south Melbourne and south bank

The main doors and outside room doors seemed to make a lot of noise all the time . I though the rooms were a little small but still no big deal !

Lovely staff - very welcoming. Comfortable room and very clean and tidy; with a stylish bathroom. Fantastic bar and bistro located on the bottom floor. A really great boutique hotel. Perfect for public transport, with the Number 12 tram from the CBD heading straight there, and the stop less than 100 metres from the hotel.

The lift was was out of service for my visit, but with only two flights of stairs and an overnight bag, it wasn't a drama.

The room was comfortable and quiet.  Great location.  Walking distance to South Melbourne Markets, cafés etc.  Easy public transport into the city and beyond.  Hotel and Restaurant staff were all very helpful.  The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent.  Really enjoyed having a sunset drink and food at the rooftop bar.  It had a great view of the city.

I had a very short overnight stay however a very lovely recently renovated room in a lovely old hotel in south Melbourne. Easily accessible on No 12 tram, easy self check in late at night, proprietors held luggage the next day. Restaurant and bar looked terrific. Very quiet for inner urban hotel. Will stay again for a longer stay.

Rooms were on the small side We were told that breakfast would only be a breakfast pack left in the room as no kitchen staff were available but this was not provided on the first night. Staff were very apologetic and made up for it on the second day with an excellent cooked breakfast from the kitchen.

The hotel and room were beautifully decorated, the minibar was well-stocked and the location was surprisingly quiet. We couldn't hear the trams or traffic at all! Plus the staff were super friendly and helpful. It's a great area to stay because it's not too busy but right on the tram line and there is some great little coffee shops around.

Our room felt slightly cramped but it really didn't matter because we were only there for one night and it was decorated so nicely. There are really no complaints - the venue completely exceeded our expectations!

The vintage heritage vibe of the hotel is very nice. We loved it. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was luxurious. Very clean rooms. Great location and facilities. Easy check in. The building is very secure and very quaint. The tram stop is just nearby so easy to hop on and hop off while going anywhere.

There is no hotel parking which might be a problem for some people. There are trams and scooters available nearby for transportation alternative. The bathroom mirror is not exactly infront of the sink but abit to the left side which some people may find annoying 😊 but its a personal preference. The price may seem a bit higher but the hotel is worth its price tag and the location is great.

The room is fairly small. The coffee and tea facilities are neatly arranged in the cupboard but there is no power point there, so you need carry the kettle and coffee machine to other areas near power points to use them. There is not much desk/table space for things and the coffee machine etc. Coppersmith should either install powerpoints where they keep the electrical devices now or find a new more sensible location for them all.

Friendly staff and management. They insisted I park my motorbike in the foyer to keep it safe overnight. That was above and beyond.

Bed was great with crisp sheets but a little more attention could have been paid to the overall cleanliness of the bathroom. Still a great place to stay though.
