Nice and clean, good size. They had the aircon on when we arrived which was really nice! All staff were accommodating and nice. Location was ok, great if you want to go to casino, but little far from restaurants and city (if walking).

The beds were a bit hard, they did have a mattress topper but it didn’t do much, it also had a ditch that I kept rolling into in the middle of the night. Entrance isn’t very easy to find, they did say in a text “through the glass door” but there were 2 and we kept walking in between cause we weren’t sure, lucky a lady was coming out and told us where it was. Maybe just need a sign saying reception with an arrow?

Really good location. Easy to walk into the free tram zone, or a close walk to a tram stop as well as the start of southbank. Pool, sauna and steam room great. (Ask to be on the 9th floor so you are on the same level as these facilities). The rooms are small but functional, and there is also a large lounge and reading room if you wanted to chill in a comfy space. Great to have a laundry too. Good shower. Was great to have the twin bed option.

Only thing was not really in the control of the hotel, we had a neighbouring room partying until around 5:30am one night which was not stopped by anyone - but we also didn't complain so they may not have known.

I really liked Shadowplay. The reception staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Our room was upgraded to include a balcony. The room was spacious. It had a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, really convenient if you don't want to eat out all the time. The bed was very comfortable. We had breakfast every morning in Edwin Wine Bar which was excellent, and the staff were great. The location was close to Crown Casino, South Warf, D.F.O, and public transport. Short walk to Metro Woolworths, McDonald's, IGA xpress, and plenty of other places to eat.I would definitely stay here again. It was great value.

I did not think the free in-house movie selection was that great.

Clean and comfortable. Great facilities with a lovely outdoor heated pool, sauna and steam room. We stayed on our honeymoon and they gifted us a lovely bottle of red to celebrate. Which was lovely! Kitchen supplies, microwave and washing machine which was useful. We needed parking for one night and although the hotel had parking at quite a significant cost, that were kind enough to tell us that the daily rate for the crown parking was a third of the price and very close.

Room was quite small and bed was only small for the price of the room. A bit further walk from the city than realised, but close to crown promenade.

Excellent location, 5 min walk to Melbourne Exhibition Center, South Bank Promenade. Well connected by tram, stopping right in front of the hotel, to everywhere else. Well maintained, new and clean. Stylish. Decor and illumination support the Shadow theme.Bed comfy. Restaurant on the ground floor and room service very useful if you do not feel like going out. Stylish bar on the 46th floor with fantastic views. Staff smiling and very accommodating. We had a great stay. Close by cafes, convenience stores, bottle shops.

This is a very spoiled request: whilst the bed was very comfy overall, pillows were good, sheets pleasant to touch, smelt and looked exceptionally clean, the mattress was of perfect firmness and restful- it was very bouncy :). I woke up every time my partner tossed about during the night :)).

Comfortable place walking distance from southbank and other attractions. Staff are friendly and helpful. Overall happy with our choice.

Parking is too expensive. Lift is little bit difficult to use for couple of the elderly guest in our extended family. We booked 3 rooms for our extended group and each were allocated a different floor and in order to visit each other it was little bit difficult.

the functionality of the room was excellent, good utilities made it practical to cater/cook for yourself! all the added extras from being at home. would recommend to friends & family if staying in the city location made it easy, & when first entering the building it smelt very clean & welcoming. & dark and moody

was on the first floor was a tad noisey even with windows shut (can't be helped to much ) TV was hard to navigate through kept dropping out losing signal, needed to replace batteries in remote but was unable coz it was screwed. Next time would highly prefer to be above level 10 or more to experience the 360 view of the city, if it was fairly priced.

The staff were all so helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to help with everything, as my daughter had sprained her ankle the day before the trip. They were so accommodating in helping make our trip as pleasant as could be. Thank you for The Eras Tour goodie bag. It was such a nice surprise! We thoroughly enjoyed the Taylor Swift positive energy in Melbourne and at your hotel.

Location, cleanliness and access to Melbourne and the attractions. Tram out the front and being on City Road, you could access lost of different area of Melbourne quickly with little traffic.

Breakfast was pretty basic and any little extras came at a cost. The pool was tiny and only suitable for the kids and even then, they were over it in 10 mins. The rooms are comfy but small. We wanted to chill out after a big day and the couch was small. And the TV system sucks balls.

Clean and quite Super comfortable bed, the people were super friendly and the cocktails were great!

Everything was great, the food, cocktails, the room and the service, The only annoying thing was the way they do the bond. The transaction disappears when you receive the bond back and you don’t get any confirmation. I called the hotel and they referred me to my bank so I had to call my bank to confirm that I got the bond back.
