The room was awesome, clean, and the facilities and amenities were great. Location also great. Beds are really comfortable and family friendly.

Staff can be more friendly. From Day 1 arriving, with not a single knowledge of how to check in or park, the front desk greets me with HOW DID YOU GET IN? Like I'm some kind of lost person stealing their car park. The second response when I asked whether I can check in early was: No! We are fully booked and you need to come back at 2 pm. And didn't even bother to ask how we were going to get out from the parking lot without a FOB, lucky enough we got someone coming out so we can get out. When we came back the response from the front desk was HOW DID YOU GET OUT? I was like wtf? The staff we encountered during our stay were probably robots since they did not respond to Good Morning!

Comfortable and quiet. Having a kitchen was very helpful. The pool was very welcome on a hot day although can get a bit crowded when children are about. The location is supurb with everything so close by - beach, parks, shops, restaurants, walks, events. St Kilda has it all! Excellent public transport provided by extensive tram network nearby - in particular to local markets such as South Melbourne and Victoria Markets.

Car parking was available, but at extra cost which was a bit pricey.

Location is very good and within easy walking distance of the main shops and cafe strip of Acland St in central St Kilda and also handy to Fitzroy St. The area is quiet and less than 10 minutes from various tram services. The lounge/kitchenette and bedroom sizes are good and have all the appropriate items needed in a self catering apartment. Having access to a clothes washing machine and drier in the unit is very handy when staying for a few days and some clothes washing is needed. The staff were very helpful and polite. Onsite parking is available.

A bit of noise can be heard from nearby rooms if the occupants decide to be un-thoughtful of other guests at night. Bathroom is slightly small with a small shower. Some of the car spaces are quite small with low heights.

Good location. Close to pubs and shops and St. Kilda shops and Luna Park. Lovely area. Not too far from Melbourne and south Melbourne markets (which are fantastic for food and some clothes) by uber. the kitchen area was very handy.

As the air conditioning is in the living space it does not reach the bedroom. I asked at the front desk if they have any fans and they said no. Given this is an Australian hotel I would expect a portable fan due to the weather we have and not just rely on air conditioning. this needs addressing. Also given we were there two nights it would have been nice if the tea, coffee and milk was topped up. :( Parking was very expensive per night so lucky we were only borrowing a car.

The location was amazing, nice quiet area and close to everything. The room was a good size and perfect for myself and my adult daughter. Would possibly be a bit small for people travelling with younger kids. The kitchen was well equipped and having laundry facilities was a bonus

The hotel itself was awesome, unfortunately other guests made the stay not as peaceful as hoped. Air con in the bedroom would be good for warmer months, as the main one in the lounge doesn’t reach the bedrooms. Also they were painting when we were there so the smell for me was too much. I have sensitivity to strong smells so it left me with a headache

Returning visitors. Stayed three nights. Smooth check-in. Good facilities, incl. well equipped kitchenette. Comfortable lounge and bed. Good hot shower. Washing machine and dryer. Housekeeping. Paid parking underneath. Handy to St Kilda sights, and transport to Melbourne.

Parking is 25 AUD per night. Need to pay 200 AUD bond upfront - though returned promptly. Notwithstanding the dryer, a drying rack for laundry would be helpful. Some room details, esp. in bathroom and kitchen, are starting to show wear and tear.

The receptionist was absolutely fantastic, quickly found a portacot for us, and even offered to set it up and apologised profusely. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us without feeling like we were on top of each other. And I loved the full kitchen and laundry in our room. Definitely will be staying again if we ever have to head to Melbourne

Google maps took us on a wild goose chase trying to find the property, we arrived at night so it was a struggle to see. Then the cot that we had requested wasn't in our room

Fantastic location, easy walk from the tram stops. Our room faced the gorgeous old church and gardens. Comfortable bed and the room was clean and had everything we needed except a kitchen sink plug that staff rectified quickly. Would stay again.

I didn’t like the fact that we were charged such a high bond fee. It’s sad that hotels feel the need to have to do this. It’s a lot of extra funds to have to come up with for myself. The walls are very thin so any noise is heard but this didn’t bother us too much. The fridge in our room was noisily humming all night which kept us awake at times.

April 2023

I traveled with my family so 3 adults (incl me) & 2 kids, in the 2 bedroom apartment. Our rooms had 2 queen beds & a rollaway bed which the kids loved. We stayed during Easter long weekend. Quest left a chocolate bunny & a welcome note in the apartment upon arrival. I loved this personal detail. Great location. It's a  walking distance to everything eg St Kilda Pier,  Luna Park (kids loved) , cafes, restaurants..the main streets Fitzroy, Acland, Esplanade etc. Easy access to everything. I would definitely rebook Quest St Kilda. Thank you.

Parking. I know we travelled during busy easter weekend, but parking during the evening's the car park would fill up. Because we paid for parking so this was a bit frustrating. But overall, we still enjoyed our stay.

Great location to also enjoy beach and more relaxed vibe. Great facilities and features although weather was an issue for our stay. Pool & BBQ are lovely and private and shaded. Beds were huge and comfy, two lounges in 2br apartment, ceiling fans would be great for the nights in bedrooms. Caters for all guest ages. Very clean everywhere.

Shower head faulty and couldn't be fixed during our stay (although maintenance did attend same day as reported), still useable however. A short commute into the city by tram 96 or 16 every couple of minutes but was 20-30 mins trip. More of an issue to come back at night (we were there for the tennis) but trams still running just a bit less frequent.
