We stayed in an executive room with a balcony and lovely ensuite. The bed was the most comfy hotel bed I have ever slept in. Loved the drink voucher thanks

The only thing I would say was it was a little pricey. We paid more than everyone else we were travelling with, and when I questioned it, it was because we apparently booked an executive suite. We did love the balcony and if the beds are better than the standard room, Id highly recommend, cos it was so comfy!

I hadn’t seen many pictures of the rooms online so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but wow, the whole hotel was so beautiful. Upon arriving we were blown away by the lobby alone and then to my complete surprise, we were upgraded from a superior queen suite to a premier suite and were given two free drink cards. Such a lovely way to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday — he was very impressed by my hotel choice. Staff were friendly and accommodating, and we thoroughly enjoyed the free drinks that we got from the bar. I will definitely be recommending the Prince to my friends and family.

The friendly staff made check in a breeze. Although the bar downstairs was busy it was always quiet in our room and we had no noise disturbance. We asked for some extra teabags and milk and this was quickly brought up to our room. Much appreciated. We had dinner and breakfast at the dining area attached to the bar which was enjoyable. The easy access to public transport was fabulous as there is a tram stop diagonally across the road form the hotel which will take you to the city and beyond. We didn't experience any noise issues from this.

We prefer the option of a blanket instead of a doona as doonas make us too hot.

Great location, our daughter lives only 100m away, very clean and spacious, lovely bathroom and facilities, comfy bed, nice and bright room. Didn't get the use the restaurant but it looked lovely. Came to attend Lightscape at the Botanical Gardens, which was an easy tram ride from the hotel.

Had some issues working out the temperature control but nothing serious. Also couldn't work out the key - didn't realise we just had to scan the card.

the property was in such a good location. There was a tram stop right out the front which made it very easy to travel into the city etc. I loved having a restaurant right underneath, so convenient. The rooms were very clean and modern. My partner and I loved it we will definitely be staying here again on our next Melbourne trip.

The walls were not very sound proof so you could hear people in the hall way sometimes/in the room next door but this didn’t really bother us that much.

The room a cosy but beautiful, clean and well fitted out. Lots of thoughtful little touches like cards that tell you the weather and sunset time for the next day. Staff and extremely welcoming and helpful. The public bar, restaurant and wine bar are all great. The chacuterie and wine in particular at the wine bar is fantastic.

Clean and tidy.

The design of the shower cubicle meant water would find its way out of the cubicle and onto the surrounding floor making it all wet. Also in the evenings the hot water was only warm so we only had the hot water tap on. So no hot showers at night time but the mornings it was hot enough that you have to mix cold water into it. Also the bar fridge was not cold at all. You could not store anything that needed to remain cold like milk. Maybe that was intentional but would have been nice to have an actual bar fridge that was cold. Some basic cutlery and plates would have been handy like a couple of butter knives and forks too instead of 2 teaspoons and 2 mugs.

The person at the desk when I checked in, I think her name was Caitlin (?) was so lovely. I appreciated being able to check in a bit earlier too. Also loved the added touch of the speaker in the room, perfect to listen to music while getting ready for Eras Tour! Thank you for a memorable stay.

Loved everything

Love the location and the rooms with balconies. The establishment has a really great feel. Love the restaurant too!

The rooms need some love...fresh paint, new cupboards, addition of some drawers! I was in room 417 and there was not one drawer I could put anything in....bedroom or bathroom! I hung clothes above the mini bar! Curtains were also falling off...not good enough for the price of the room.

The bed was super comfy. The room was lovely and warm on arrival. We received 2 x free drink coupons. The location was very convenient to The Palais (only 2 tram stops). Car Parking was free! The Pub has a lovely atmosphere.

The bathroom sink has no bench or shelf for toiletries. There was no toilet brush provided in the toilet. Room service finished at 9.00pm (Friday night).
