Location: The location was great - especially for a family with little ones as there is Flagstaff Park just across the road with a playground. Queen Victoria Markets is also about a 6 minute walk Train and trams close by Restaurants / Cafes, convenience stores and a chemist warehouse in the area The service we received from the staff at Radisson as well as the adjoining HQ restaurant was exceptional. Everyone was so accommodating and made us feel so welcome with our toddler. We stayed for 7 days, so the location was great as it had everything we needed to top up on supplies during our stay. You also receive a drinks voucher if you choose to not have your room serviced for that day. Highly recommend - Will be staying again!

I loved the location!!! I loved it had Trams and the Flagstaff station within walking distance. Queen Victoria market is a short walk away from the hotel, around the corner to be specific. The hotel restaurant HQs has a good choice when it comes to breakfast. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating and when above and beyond during my stay, which was a huge plus. The room I ended up staying in after one night was a free upgrade and it was wonderful because it was big with lots of natural light and with a view of the park. Overall it was a great choice for me as a solo traveller.

My room got a dusty a bit too fast. Not sure why, and this was the only drawback and it was visible.

All the staff were so welcoming and attentive. They really made us feel so welcome! Everyone (that’s room cleaners, kitchen and restaurant staff, reception staff and management) were brilliant. We are staying in Australia until late January and therefore booked a few different hotels because we didn’t know what to expect. Because we were so impressed with the Radisson we have cancelled one of our planned hotels so that we can go back there again in January! That is a reflection of what we feel about the hotel! There were some minor quibbles but they were dealt with promptly and effectively.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. I had to be that difficult customer and call reception because of the people in the room next door being noisy. The staff were so accommodating both to me and the guests in the other room. They were great about the whole situation. The staff act like they genuinely care which was just so nice and made my stay very enjoyable. The buffet breakfast and food in the restaurant (room service) is amazing and definitely worth the higher price.

I do wish my room had a view for the price I paid, however I was there during the Australian Open so could have been why the price was higher.

Front Desk staff are very nice esp Juan - who checked-in our family. He is very friendly, charming and excellent performance. Juan is the best employee in your hotel. He always recognize us and warmly greetings during our stay. Also Ms Kubra at Front Desk, she is very nice and helpful. We are happy with all staff in your hotel. Staff at breakfast area are very nice as well. The service at breakfast area are very good. They all take good care our stay and we are satisfied with your service. We hope Juan will be a potential manager in the future. We will be back soon. Location of your hotel is fantastic!

The room was great, the bed was comfy, the shower was fantastic, and 99% of the staff were amazing. The Duty Manager on Tuesday morning 10th October was particularly delightful, helpful and very friendly 😀

We were treated very rudely by the Maître d of the, at that time, restaurant/bar, on Monday evening 9/10,l. Rather than seat us at one of the many free tables at 9pm for our complimentary drinks, she made us stand at the counter and wait, whilst she saw to other guests already seated first, then made us wait even longer whilst she went and got the bottle of wine and glasses, poured them at the front counter, and suggested we might like to take them to our room, rather than take us through and seat us! We felt treated like riff raff rather than paying guests! We asked to be seated & were, but it put a real taint on what was otherwise a pretty faultless stay.

We stayed at the Radisson to celebrate our engagement. The staff from checkin, to the cleaning crew and the restaurant team were incredibly friendly and all great at what they do. As we are a same sex couple, our engagement had not been well received by one of our families, so when we got a knock at the door just after checking in and were handed champagne and chocolates to celebrate, it brought many tears of appreciation. We had felt seen and celebrated, and I can't put into words what that meant to us. It felt like our stay turned into one big celebration over several days and that blew our minds. The rooms were spacious and clean, the decor modern, the shower big, the buffet breakfast extensive, and the vibe spot on. A block from the Vic Market, Tram stop and Train Station which we made the most of. I have never written a review before but there was no way I was not going to acknowledge the awesomeness of this stay. This will forever be our stay of choice in Melbourne moving forward.

Absolutely nothing

Comfortable room. Great views of the city both night and day. The room was quiet. Breakfast was good as well. Plenty of food to choose from. I also had a snack when i arrived back from an evening function I was attended to quickly and the food was good.

In the breakfast buffet I was spoken to sharply regarding my order of a hot chocolate to have with my breakfast. I made a formal complaint, the staff member concerned apologised to me in person and was wonderful in future service towards me. In my evening meal the staff then were happy to assist with an order that was not officially on the menu.

great location, trams at the doorstep. park across is great for a small stroll. breakfast is great at $35 pp.

with extra bed for third family member, room felt tight. with Radisson brand and this class of hotel, I would expect soap holder / dispensers and not soap bars which is unhygienic (and seem very yesterday). parking can be a bit tricky. we opted for $49 per day parking which has unlimited take out your car / leave your car. however this requires you have to ask for your car with upto 15 minutes wait time for them to bring your car. when you wish to leave the car back for parking, you have to leave the car on the street in front of the hotel. there are limit stopping places there, and you will have to move on and come back if none of the spot is free. but mostly it was without hassle.

This was a typical four star city centre hotel with the facilities and services you would expect. The catering was good with hot and cold breakfast buffet and the dinner restaurant good enough to come back a second time. Location was excellent, inside the free tram zone with good access to public transport, eating and shopping centres while still away from the most of the hustle and bustle.

The parking arrangements were not the best: off site, fairly expensive and inflexible as you could not come and go on the same day ticket. No DIY laundry but we found a good but expensive coin laundromat about 10 minutes walk away.
