I was so pleasantly surprised when I got this hostel! I found it very social as I first walked in as there we people in the seating area outside, playing guitar, singing and chatting. The receptionist Tom was so friendly and welcoming, he gave me tour and helped me carry bags to my room. The rooms are very nice, huge lockers for your things, sheet and duvet, TWO pillows, shelving right by your bed and plug sockets! Kitchen was so clean and organised! Hair dyers available in the bathroom too!

Showers weren’t the best, but they weren’t the worst either

I absolutely loved this Hostel!!! Would highly recommend staying here! It has a very homey feel to it and the open kitchen and living room area is huge and it feels like one big house! I met some amazing people there as I was travelling alone and there are heaps of kitchen space and fridges and freezers and a box assigned to your room to put food in. They have Netflix and a pool table and board games and the staff are awesome! Nice outdoor area aswell to sit and socialise . Very protected too as Perth can get dodgy at night, it is a little far away from the CBD but that’s good to be honest as the CBD is very dodgy and full of aboriginals who are dangerous and aggressive so great location as it is safe in north bridge. Also would 110% recommend staying in the female dorm if you’re female as it’s the best room and very spacious! And a mirror in there too and somewhere you can put luggage

The bathrooms were a little average with the tap leaking everywhere and the floors were always a bit gross but other than that all good!

Large communal areas downstairs with a big kitchen, lots of places to sit and eat, comfy sofas, and a TV. Laundry facilities are available, and you can use the washing line outside to dry your clothes. The hostel is a short 10 minute walk into the centre of the city, and only a few minutes walk to the free tourist bus stop. Large lockers are available in the room, which you close with your own padlock.

A minor thing was that it could sometimes be difficult to find staff when there was no one at reception - there was no way to summon anyone and no contact details. And there were also no individual lights next to each bed.

Actually better than I though, seems to be freshly renovated

The beds should have curtains to offer more privacy

Great possibly brand new hostel, excellent state of common areas, enough chairs and table, huge kitchen. Very comfortable bed and pillows and a big locker in the room where to keep your stuff nice and tidy.

My room didn't have windows to open and ventilate but it was just for the location of the room in the building, not big deal for a few nights there I reckon. Also, they could put some hooks in the shower block doors to hang our clothes.

Really easy to get in and out of, the staff are all so lovely. The kitchen is clean and there’s enough space for you to put all your food and drinks and their system works really well. Everyone was really friendly whilst being there and it’s very much a sense of community/family there as people tend to stay there for a long time to work.

There was nothing that I didn’t particularly like. Only things are that obviously the kitchen gets busy during peak cooking times but that’s to be expected.

Spinners Hostel is the best hostel I’ve been to. Its interior is really modern and clean, the kitchen is always clean and tidy and in general they give their best to give you the best stay possible. The dorms are quite big and the beds are really comfortable. The staff is super friendly and treats you like family. It’s a great place to meet new people and explore Perth :)

i was only there for about 5 hours ---i needed a safe place to sleep after arriving late and needing to get up early. i needed a place close to the Centre of town . And i needed help with a late check in. It all went well because i had assistance getting in from the manager i think

i didn't like that i thought i had paid but upon arriving i was informed i hadn't paid but only provided a virtual credit card . I am now making sure the booking company didn't take a payment as well.

What especially struck out were the kitchen with many utilities and the design of the bedroom. I loved that the bunk beds were not fragile and there was some space to charge your phone and put your belongings right behind the bed.

I found the bathrooms to be a bit small. During the time I was there I felt like it was not really a social environment. People didn’t seem to be really interested in talking to you. It was further away from the city Center than expected (20min walk).

Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Plenty of food storage space and multiple glass fronted fridges. The kitchen is exceptionally clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Relaxing downstairs area with large screen Netflix TV. Location feels safe and is close to many restaurants and bars. Short walk to catch free bus into town.

Far too many young sexy people.
